| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

How the hell did this happen, how could he have been so careless and stupid to allow such a thing to happen. He was smarter than that. Anyway this was where he was at and now he needed a way out. The night before Chaos had been in the green gryphon, getting drunk like always. He was out for a bit of fun, scareing passing people and causing just a bunch of mess. All night the city guards had been chasing him, trying to stop him and imoblize him. But being the awesome strong demon he is they could not do it. But as he started to wear off and get tired, chaos could not help but pass out in some bushes while walking. Apparently while he sleep a group of guards found his drunk sleeping body, and had escorted him to the local dungeon. And thats where he is now. Sitting on the soggy wet cot he rubbed his aching head, trying to get the nights adventures out. He hurt an dhad pain in the sockets of his eyes, not to mention he was pissed at being caught and locked away. Chaos took no time to do anything, not even look around the cell, so just about anyone could be held up in here with him, which was not good for that person. Still trying to figure out what had happened he heard a loud clank from somewhere ahead of him, peering up to see what was there. |

The guards on either side held an arm of the man between them, who held his head high and his posture proud. None of which matched his outfit, a ragged and colorful assortment of rags and heavy, old clothing. Gloves covered his hands, worn boots on his feet. A hood was draped over his face. Not an inch of the man's actual skin was visible. The handcuffs were clamped and bolted over his forearms behind his back. His walk was heavy, each step a dulled thump against the stone floor. He followed where his escorts walked him. Reaching the cell, one of the men released an arm and flinched, bracing himself for a movement that never came. Auron stood still in place. Shaking it off, the jittery man clanged a club on the bars. 'Stay where we can see you.' He ordered the man already in the cell. The other drew his sword and shoved Auron's back. The push wasn't very hard, but Auron stumbled inside anyway, allowing himself to hit the opposite wall. There was a loud clack, like stone hitting stone, and a small chip flew from the wall. Neither guard noticed, having shut and locked the door as soon as he was in, leaving as soon as they could. Auron leaned on the wall, sliding down his back to sit on the ground, arms bound. His hood shifted to show a brief glint of metal as he scooted forward once. Breathing heavily, Auron turned his head to face Chaos. He regarded him for a moment before speaking. “I saw you.” Auron rasped. After a moment of silence, he jerked his head back. “Mind helping me get these off?” the man clanged the manacles against the wall. |

His eyes were laden with sleep, trying to get rest and find peace with his mind. And he was almost there till the sound of rattling and voices filled the halls upstairs. Someone was on their way down, it sounded like a army to be exact. Chaos stood and walked closer to the bars, watching as three men walked into the room. Two were normal looking guards, on either side of what was to be his cell mate. But the man in the center, the prisoner was a odd looking man, with ragged cloths and a hood covering his face. He looked bigger than any man he had seen before. Standing back as the cell opened chaos watched as the large man was thrown into the cell, smacking the wall chaos thought he felt the very earth shake. As the guards left the room, laughing at there new pet, chaos stepped closer to the man, who was now leaning on the wall. Why the hell should i free you, you look as if you could take my head off in one swipe. Chaos thought about that, then cursed under his breath. For he would need sleep soon and all this man had to do was sit on him and it was all over. So he rethought his statement. Ok, il free you. But yo u gotta help me get the hell out of here if i do. Chaos stepped closer and held his hands out, motioning for his room mate to turn so he could get to the shackles that bound him. |
