Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Artemis was hopelessly lost, walking in tunnels with only a glimmer of fire to guide him. Artemis had been following a man into the tunnels who had tried to mug him in his sleep. He had gotten his gold back from the man but was now far into the darkness of the tunnels. He had gone into the tunnels hours ago to find the man but now he felt like it had been several days since he had seen daylight. Maybe he would see a fried in this abyss of tunnels.... |

Bloodvein was walking down a deep laberinth of tunnels in search of a way out with a persuer right on his heels the very same person of whom he had recently stollen from but as he entered the tunnels he tripped and lost the gold so he isn't real sure why he was still being fallowed was it rely such a big deal i mean come on but still he was running for his life still not sure if this creature could fight him off but the small glimpses showed that he was skilled in combat. bloodvein was tired now and stopped to catch his breath and wondered if he was still being fallowed and after thirty minuts he confirmed that he was not being fallowed anymore or at least till it was fully rested and could kick his but easily so in fear of not being able to win a fight over who could stay awake longer he franticaly searched the darkness for a little crevase to lie down in and dosed off into the abyss. bloodvein awoke in a start to find a small flickering light off in the distance as something came along the tunnels he then grabbed his shield and propped it up in front of him to act as a door and found a peep whole in the rock in wait of his prey not knowing what was going to happen next. |

Artemis had been walking for quite some time now but noticed a slight movement in the distance. It was faint but definitely there. So Artemis began to walk softly and moved his from under his cloak to the sheath where he held his precious katana blade. he ran his fingers over the writing on the blade. He felt comforted and more calm feeling his fathers name under his fingers. Artemis was now getting closer to where he had noticed the movement so he made his fireball bigger so he could see more are in the tunnel. He looked over to what seemed to be a small crevice and after a moment he noticed the thief that had stolen his money. Hey! you're the man who stole from me! After shouting at the man he noticed that they both seemed lost in this tunnel and since he had gotten his gold back he decided to be nice. Hey are you lost aswell? Artemis took a new tone hoping the man would be of some assistance. |

bloodvein was now hearing the man yelling at him then suddenly calming his voice and so he was caught with nowere else he could go he got out of his whole, put his shiled on his back, and crawled out to the person with a small fireball in his hands and thought this guy could be of some use because were they were ther was no light to be seen in a mile radius except for this strange guy and kinda welcomed him and so with that he wanted to be friends. now the man was asking if bloodvein had lost his way witch indeed he has so he hopped up and askeddo you know the way out or are we just gonna have to guess he laughed as he he started to walk and then he turned around and grined. |

Artemis looked at the man who had accepted his help though neither knew the way out and smiled. I don't know the way out but neither do you so if we travel together we might have a better chance, plus i have light so we can see. Finishing his words he enlarged his fireball so they could see bettter. Lets go Artemis said in a more cheerful tone. With this they began walking through the tunnels, into who knows what. |

bloodvein was now walking with the man he had only met eirlier today or night, he did not know wich it was but he had light and they were off on a journy in wich they had no direction to travel because they were lost. bloodvein was getting hungery now and it seemed like they have been walking forever he wanted to ask if he could take a break but the man looked determined to get out of these tunnels but then the sudden sense of fatigue struck him like an arrow so he plucked up the courage and began to ask him hey can we stop for a break im tired and starving by the way do you have any food not even waiting for an answer he sat down and began to close his eyes for a little nap. |

Artemis was suprised when the man asked to stop and take a break. hey can we stop for a break im tired and starving by the way do you have any food Artemis figured they had all the time in the world. he was only going home for the last time and this could be his last friend before his death. Actually I think I do let me check. Artemis looked though his bag to find some meat he had cut up from a kill in the woods it was still good but raw. give me your shield and i can cook us some meat, it will hold up against heat right? |
