Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own.

In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins.

There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free.

"Momma! Can I have this?!"

A voice called Sava out of her thoughts. She looked over her shoulder behind her, looking down at the little half-dragon child. The boy having harder skin, blue scales barely visible over his smooth flesh, small little horns protruded through the matted black hair, icy blue eyes looked up at her pleadingly as he held up a toy of some kind from one of the stands around in the market.

"No, sweetie, put it back now, we have to get going." Sava said smoothly, smiling at her son as she shifted Siviriel who she held with one arm, the little girls arms around Sava's neck. Holding Sava's free hand was another identical girl, both having short hair and blue eyes that looked like their brothers Altier. Sheva clenched onto her moths hand tight, often lifting her feet off the ground and letting Sava lift her up somewhat.

Altier pouted, but knew better then to beg more, and put the toy back and skipped over to his mothers side, taking Sheva's hand, and the mother dragon continued moving down the street, guiding the children through the crowded streets. People stared at the family, though, mainly at her children, who held the appearance of half-dragons, while Sava looked nothing more then a human.

They were heading towards a small shop, a tailors shop, where Sava had ordered some new clothes for her children, since the kids were growing up pretty fast it seemed.

Like any mother dragon, she kept her children close to her, cautious about anyone that walked by. normally she wouldn't bring her kids with her, but the servants had the day off at the house, or rather, castle, and her children weren't old enough to stay home alone yet, even with Felix to watch over them.

"Are we there yet?" Sheva, still looking half-dragon, had a more elven grace about her, her footsteps light and graceful, even at such a young age.

"Not yet, Sheva." Sava replied, looking ahead as they walked through the sunny streets.

Cascadia, a shiny-seeming floating city, but more like a rock with buildings on top of aforementioned floating rock, sitting high in the sky, and a complete and utter pain to reach! The Merc with a Mouth, Wade Winston Wilson, had taken one of the much more difficult and cheaper ways to get to the city’s streets, conveniently forgetting how he had gotten there and how he had managed to essentially lose every bit of energy doing so. Maybe he was drunk beyond belief, that could explain why he pretty much blacked out the entire experience, but he didn’t care, though he was too exhausted to run his mouth as usual, he was just happy to finally be up there.

The job he had recently taken wasn’t so much of a mercenary job, so much as it was a kill somebody and get paid job. He liked those, mainly because they generally meant he got that much closer to getting a crossbow so he wouldn’t have to find them, then worry about trying to cut them into little pieces… okay, maybe it was more like dicing with his two katanas, but still, a crossbow would be much more preferred. All he would have to do is sit on top of a roof, make sure the bolt was loaded and then wait for an opening in his target’s defenses.

He let out an annoyed sigh, the price of this assassination was beyond even his rates, which meant he would most likely lose again, and again, and again, and again… damn his persistence, he knew he wouldn’t stop annoying/attacking the target until he was either thrown off of Cascadia, or she was dead. Then again, maybe she would be rich; maybe she could more than double how much he was getting paid for this job. He went to his happy place as he subconsciously scanned the faces of the people around him, recalling what the picture he was given looked like.

He stopped, being abruptly jerked from his normal happy place and into a new one, he saw what seemed to be a familiar picture-related face amongst the crowd, along with a lot of smaller ones, children. Oh, well. He took a moment to do some random jumping jacks before approaching the woman.

“Hi, I’m Deadpool; somebody with a lot of money had paid me to K-I-L-L-Y-O-U.” He spelled out the request as he unsheathed his blades, a happy face tucked beneath his mask, though it showed in his eyes. He did like his blades, though; he just was really tired from however he had gotten to Cascadia. “So, if you don’t struggle, this can be quick, over before the munchkins even realize, I can get paid, and be on my way.” He didn’t attempt a strike at her just yet, hoping in the very depths of his mind she would comply, though in reality he knew that it was near impossible.
