| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

It was a little past noon, sun filtering through tress, shining against the water, and lightly treading upon the grassy ground, he looked down at a figure of a girl, wearing nothing but her white night gown. Light blonde hair falling around her shoulders. She was in her teens, around Aleister's age. Her green eyes were wide with fear, and she struggled against the binds that held her arms behind her back. She tried to scream, but a gag kept her silent. Tears streamed down her face as she stared at the kidnapper before her. "You really shouldn't cry, sweet girl. Its disgusting." He knelt in front of her, thin fingers wrapping around her soft neck. He pulled her towards him, a small grin flicking over his face. "You really made someone angry. To request this type of fate is rare. But I don't mind. It all pays well no matter what." The girl started to sob, and choke when Aleister lightly closed his fingers over her throat. He dragged the girl to her feet by her neck, and started pulling the girl along towards the water. She saw, and started struggling more, and screaming against the gag. Aleister sighed, and lifted a free hand to his temple as he stopped. "Really, girl, your crying is giving me a headache." He growled, before a almost soft smile played on his lips. "I'll stifle those sounds soon enough." He laughed, softly at first, before it grew in volume. Then, he flung the girl into the water. She fell in a splash, and struggle through the water, trying to stand up, but her legs were tied too, but the must have gotten loose, for she managed to gain her footing, and she looked ready to bolt, but before she could, Aleister snarled and jumped into the water, quickly moving to her and slamming a fist into the girls face. She fell back, but not unconscious. He took the gag out of her mouth and grabbed her arm, pulling her more into the water, til he was waist deep in, then he shoved her down, holding her down in the water, he felt her struggling against his grasp, and it made him grin, and he chuckled, enjoying this as he drowned the girl. Once, he brought the girl up, letting her catch her breath, before he shoved her back down in the water, letting the water fill her lungs again, this time, planning to hold her down until she stops squirming. |

It had been a few days since the Frozen North indecent, and Siegfried was still searching for the light he seeked. He noticed a dark man in the water upon closer investigation he appeared to be drowning a girl. In an instant Siegfried was behind the man with his blade to his back, "Sir one chance is all you have.. Let. Her. Go..!" Siegfried creating a spark at the back of the mans head as a sort or warning.. His wounds weren't fully healed yet however he knew he had to protect.. He grabbed the mans arm with his left, which was painful enough, "I'll say it once more sir.. Let.Her.Go." |

"Mmm... you poor thing. Your drowning. Soon you'll be as cold as a rock. I wonder who'll find you." He spoke to himself aloud, snickering. He clenched his hand around her throat, tighter and tighter. The girl was getting weaker, he felt it. Her life was quickly retreating. But no, someone just had to interrupt his fun Again! He heard a splash as someone else got into the water, but before he could do anything, he felt a blade pressed to his back. He stood, rigid, but his fingers still clenched around the girl, even after the man spoke. Suddenly there was a heat though, sparks. Aleister tried to wrench away from the man, who suddenly grabbed his arm. He glared at the man. Who the hell did he think he was? "You wanna learn how to drown too, sir?" He snarled. He released the girl though, but she was too weak to even stand anymore. She was on the verge of death. Whispering a quick word, Aleister's hands turned into long sharp claws. He ripped away from the man, and raked a clawed hand towards the man, the claws of the savage sharp enough to rip through flesh like paper. |

"just what are you a demon!?" Aleister laughed. "That's exactly what I am. Well, mostly." He grinned, dodging the blade that was lunged at him. This one put up a pathetic fight, and was wounded already. Well, that took the fun out of most of it, but he would still enjoy this to the fullest, just the thought of killing someone else today made him shiver with excitement. He moved towards the older man, trudging through the waist high water with ease, lifting out a clawed hand to wrap around the genasi's throat. He leaned closer to the man, grinning. "You really should have ran instead of coming to stop me from killing her." His eyes flicked to the girl, who wasn't exactly moving that much, before he looked at the man again, the malicious grin still there. "But, I have to thank you, you made this day more exciting." He said, before he shifted his position slightly, and pushed the man under the water, the clawed hand tightening around the mans throat, but still cautious, since this man could maybe still have something up his sleeve, but then again, Aleis almost doubted that. |

The man began to glow a pale white color, "Surely you figured I'd have an ace!" Siegfrieds wounds began to melt away almost as if he had never taken them.. He slammed his blades hilt upwards into the mans jaw and picked up the woman, "Now I will be leaving.." Siegfried ran with the unconscious woman for the shore.. |

Growling, Aleister released the man and jumped back so he would get hit by the swords hilt. He stumbled back, and nearly fell in the water deeper, which made his eyes widen. He didn't know how to swim, and it would be terrible if he fell in deeper and drowned himself, but he was able to regain his footing, but just as the man grabbed the girl and was trying to escape. Aleister laughed. This was getting to be more fun. He cast the spell Blink, at first in the water, then when he blinked, he was standing on the ground in front of the man a girl, blocking the way. "Oh, I don't think your going anywhere, sir. See, I'm getting paid a lot of good money for her death, and you, your just a party favor, a toy just for me to kill for pleasure, for your blood." Then with a few words in an entirely different language, casting the spell Black Bolt, the spell bolted towards the man, seeming to be created by dark energy, that would cause damage to anyone. |

Siegfried raised his left hand, "Shield" he created a shield of magic to try to protect himself, and continued running, "damn, I can't beat him, he's not some worthless assassin pawn like the others.." Siegfried steadied his sword to counter any attacks and increased his running speed.. |
