Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own.

In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins.

There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free.

What was this world? it had changed so much since Zion had last been here. He had rembered running around the streets with his mothers hand in his, the child like smile thrust upon his face as he peered into shop windows and beged his father for little snacks from vendors. The warm smell of freshly baked goods and sweet drinks that tasted of every flavor. Many a day Zion would beg his parents at constant rates just to take him out and into town, for the pure adventure of it sent joy into his mind. But then his mind stopped at that time in the past and he began to wander back to the time he first went crazy. His family got so scared and soon saw him for what he was, a monster and a vile beast, unworthy of life. Small tears streamed down his cheek as zion left the dirt path eh was on and walked into the busy dark streets.

Just drudging along, his feet draging and his arms hanging over his sides, he pouted like a big five year old in a candy store who was not allowed any candy. His wrecthed smelly dirty body walked under the arch way and into the heart of town. The lanterns that stood by the side of the cobble stoned road sent dim glows of light out over the area that they reached. He walked slow and solmen, the soft light playing off his dirt and blood stained skin. The only article of clothing he wore was a small bag that he found, for before he was completly exposed and naked. Not that he really cared, his mind was still in the state of mentalness and stupidity. Why oh why was he cursed, why did he have to go through life like this. All he wanted was his life back, but that was impossible. Zion was changed, and forever would be a changed cursed man, a demon hungery for blood trapped in this poor mans worthless body.

Balefire, city of shadows and light. AD grinned. She loved this place. That was why she built her home so near it. It wasn't like anyone would find it though, her home that was. She was very careful about it.

Right now she sat on the sharp slope of one of the many roofs of the city. There were others up here, but with her being so obvious, most simply ignored or avoided her. She doubted any knew her and she didn't care if they did or not. She was watching the few people coming and going about the town when she saw a figure walking below. Her head tipped slightly to the right as she watched him. She smiled. This one, if she was right, might make a good addition to her guild. She would have to see.

She stood up and abruptly hopped off the roof, landing without a problem simply because how often she had done it. It was easier then dropping from trees after all, as you didn't have to worry so much about branches. She bent her knees as she landed to take the impact and rose to walk over to the stranger and simply started walked along next to him without saying a word.

By now Zion had no clue where he was going or even if he was still in the same town, but it did not matter, he was sad and upset and nothing would change that. He was now at this time in full tear mode, thick watery droplets dripping down his face leaving paths where the tears actually cleaned the dirt of his face. He did not bother wiping his face, just let the water flow of his chin and splash onto the dirty ground. His knees bent slightly and his back hunched he looked like a skelton walking aimlessly around, for his bony limbs and his spine gave off the apperance that he had no skin.

Another presence was felt beside him now, someone much stronger and most likely smarter than him. He looked up and stopped crying, almost in a second he frogot why he was even sheding tears, this happened to him alot. But he then began to focus on the woman that now graced his company by walking beside him, he knew his place and attacking this person was not it, so he stepped to the side a step and stopped. You..is who? i no like mean..strangers. Zion now turned to fully face the woman and placed his fist in his hand, like he was showing her he was no push over. Zion nice if lady nice. standing there with a dumb founded look he awaited a response, and would get angery if she acted smarter than him. For even though he was retarted he knew when he was being mocked.

Aether Draka was dressed in a soft leather bodice and simple pants with a skirt over them. Both sidea of the skirt were split all the way up so that she had freedom of movement. Around her neck was a silver chain with a cursed demonic ring on it. On the belt around her waist was a single pouch. She bore no weapons, at least none that anyone could see.

When he noticed her and stopped, she stopped too and looked at him when he started to talk. He sounded like a child and AD wondered if he was still one in his mind. She offered a smile, one that was real and true in it's intentions. "Hello. I'm AD." She figured the best way to start this conversation was to have introductions, even if she didn't really like them too much. She tipped her head slightly to the right, keeping her gaze on his face. "I'm just curious, are you busy?"

Yes, she was sure she could there was something about him, but what it was was eluding her. She thought back to other times she had worked with children. Food, she should offer him food and perhaps the use of her cloak... but one step at a time. She didn't want to end up in a fight. She liked Balefire and to cause a scean here would make it harder for her to enjoy her time here.

Zion stared at her with a blank dull look in his eyes, like nothing was behind them, just a blank stare filled with the pupil of his red eyes. His face quivered a bit as he stood there a eyed her, his cheeks splattered with blood from past meals and dirt blotted his skin from the wanders in mud and dirt. He looked a complete mess standing there wrapped in one single cloth the cover his privates, a helpless figure doomed to walk the earth cursed and forsaken by all he use to call family.

She said her name was AD, but zion did not soak this in and it passed right over him, like something she had said in some strange language. But he knew she was saying names so he decided to put his in, like it was of importance or something. I zion...i god! He puffed out his chest and almost frogot that she asked him if he was busy. Having a one track mind often made it hard to hold a subject with him, for he would babble on about what ever made its way into his tiny little brain.

no no no no no! i is not being busy. only family thoughts make me sad. He did know that he was thinking of his past life where he had a family and had a good loveing life, but it was all shot to hell now and he was the image of the demon that lived with in him.

After he replied to her, she offered him her hand. "Zion. I like that name. Would you like to get something to eat?"

His family made him sad? Perhaps that was for the better. He didn't look like one who would be easily accepted among others, which made him perfect for her guild. She looked into his face and knew that things must have been very hard for him. People had been trying to avoid him as he walked the streets of Belfire and out of the corner of her eye she saw people stopping. Some stood in small groups of two or three, whispering to each other, others simply starred and clung close to the walls of the buildings about them. No one seemed to want to draw the attention of this large man.

AD wanted to smack them and ask them why they hadn't been the ones to approach him. He clearly had nothing, were they blind as well as ignorant? The least they could have done was offer him some clothing or some scrap of food.

((OOC: sorry it took so long!))
