Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Night sat. WAiting. For someone that she knew. Her small black wings flittered nervously. This happened anytime she had to wait for anyone. But especially any boy. The day was bright, her skin took to the sun as it was slowly being tanned by the rays sinking into her arms and legs. The pool of water showed her reflection as she drew lazy circles in the water. Her face twisted and turned on the waters surface. It had been some time since she had seen the vampire draco. In fact, it had been a long time she had seen any of her vampiric friends. Absent mindedly she ran a finger over the two bite marks on her neck. Then his reflection came in the back of her, in suprise she screamed and yelled a word that was very unlady like. Next thing she knew the lake had consumed her. Rising to the surface she saw him by the edge. Raising an eye brow she spit the water out of her mouth clean at his face. "What was that for?!?!" |

His foot met her back lightly as he examined her nice tan, a tan he wished he could have during the hot summer days as a vampire. His black clothing held a special shadow beneath his cloak. The hot sun sank deep into his pale wrist as he snatched it back quickly with the light burn to his skin. He waved it off and watched Puppe get her face out of the water. He lightly chuckled as she didn't see him pushing her face into the smooth chilling water. She then rose from her fall and simply showed her nice thin body perfect in every way he remembered it. His tongue sang a song of desire as his nose caught a aroma of blood. He easily detected it to be hers as the citrus smell couldn't go unnoticed. "Heh, you look good today how have you been Puppe? That was for looking at you wet." Draco said as his sly voice slid of into the warm breeze of the day. The sand lightly lifting to his black cloak and strapped Blade at his back. His mastery with a blade was close to impressive in most situations. His mind clear with little worries and minor things to come. He looked at her emerald eyes as his light vibrant blue eyes reached hers as he smiled once more... |

"Well as you know i am solely devoted to disturbing the peace." With that she smiled and moved her rib cage to the side in a small dance move. Putting her hands on the green grass above the water she pulled herself up, water running down her skin. Looking at him she smiled. "Is that the only reason that you dumped me in the lake? I don't think I really deserved this." her clothes were heavy with water, looking at him he put her arms out and looked at him with one arched eye brow. "Nice." Smiling she moved close to him, her lips grazing his. "Thats fine I suppose.." As she spoke she had drawn him to the edge of the lake. "As long as I'm not the only one!" Denying him the pleasure of a kiss she put her palms on his shoulders and made to push him in. |

Her small body tilted into his taller stature figure as if engulfing her in his balck cloak from afar. Draco's eyes cut into hers as he watched her lean up for a gentle kiss. He cared for her enough already to give her one. His mind sank it naturally to give his lips to hers. As her hair wet his hands he moved them to her waist his lips dry and losing color as he went to kiss her. As he did he found himself tilting backwards off the dock. His feet almost loosing balance as he fell backwards. No splash spat up though no sound of a person falling in. Draco lightly chuckled as he stood among the edge of the dock. He was a vampire and standing among walls and other rough edges were natural. He stood horizontally facing upward looking down at her. He smiled as he looked at her as he spoke. "Nice try hun." Draco caught his breath. "I got quite the view here." Draco's eyes glancing down to her legs as he began to chuckle enjoying himself. Tipping his toes forward he found himself back to real gravity. He stood two feet away from her, his back to the cold chilling water. |

Putting her hands on her hips she laughed out loud. "Show off!" Vampires did have a knack of doing that. One had jumped out a window, others had played games. It was as though they were showing off because they knew nothing but of their powers. Doing a cartwheel over to where he was she sat on the dock, her toes grazing the water. "Got any ideas of what to do today?" The air was cold against her skin, putting her hands on her arms she shivered, the water didnt make it much easier either. It was now dusk, the moon would soon rise but the pinks and purples sitll danced umong the water. "Lucky for you I dont kick your butt. This dress was brand new, now its drenched with lake water." Stubornly she put her head down then tossed it back, her hair spraying him with water. Now he wasnt completly dry. This gave her a smile of satisfaction. |

Draco was silent as she talked he liked her sweet gentle voice sinking into his ears. Her eyes caught him by surprise every time along with her voice. She was close to irresistible and exceptionally beautiful. Draco raised his eyebrow as if he didn't even really know he was showing off. He watched her do her cart wheel and followed as she sat he looked over to the sun as it dulled down. He noticed her shivering as always, his body spun out of his cloak as he wrapped it around her. Now at his knees he wrapped his arms around her warming her up and felt the water spit at him in his face. "Ya know, your quite stubborn." Draco thought of what they could do as nothing came to mind. Looking tot he right he spotted a boat about the dock. "Heh, Perhaps a boat ride?" Draco couldn't think of anything else other then the festivities that started in a few good minutes. A big fish festival would be starting at the markets square among the other side of the docks. Music, food, and games were available to the public as well. "Unless you'd like to go to the festival tonight which should start shortly on the other side of town. Maybe take a stroll down the famous short sea walk way? Observe the fish paintings along the way, and seafood." Draco suggesting such a thing wasn't sure what see was into these days. He had been gone for weeks without seeing his lovely Puppe and now he had time to catch up... |

The warmth of the cloak wrapped around her, laying her head in his lap she looked up at him, his eyes striking she felt almost shy in his arms. Pushing a peice of hair out of his face she smiled at him. "I get sea sick. The oceans current is far to much for my stomach to take." With a smile she put her face to his and kissed him putting her hand to his neck pressing his face tp hers. "We will go to the festival. If you Can CATCH ME!!!" With that she ran through the dock, her barefeet hit hte wood, leaving wet footprints behind she soon saw the sand and kept on running confident he was right behind her she laughed. Which then proved to slow her down quite alot. He was closer now. "OHHH CRAPP!" Doing a sharp turn she did a skid her fingers touching the floor as she kept on running after the sharp turn. |

Draco began to walk in a fast manner as he began to catch up to Puppe. She was quick for a non vampiric race. She seemed to be getting slower though. Draco then decided to jog as he caught up with her in a quick motion of a mere few seconds. She wouldn't be able to ever beat him at a race and she surely knew he was going to catch her. By passing her as a blur she took the sharp turn as he grabbed her as he stood tall and confident in front of her. "Where you going ma'am" He said as his head leaned in his soft lips pressing aginst hers. He felt a light spark of flirtation as she skittishly blushed about her cheeks. Her eyes called for him with a ever lasting lust. His mind scrambled to find something to say and spoke. "You should have know i would catch you. Heh, hows the cloak keeping you warm?" Draco asked concerned for her happiness as every second slipped by. His undead body sank into a light slumber of confidence in his romance. Hius silver hair grazing her cheek as he held her in the walk way. Kissing her once more over, his hand found themselves at her delicate neck. Her warm skin filled his fingers with a tingle as the opposites complemented one another.. |

Bumping into him she was caught, breathing heavily she smiled. Her heart thudding against her chest as he kissed her. "It keeping me warm fine.."She whispered before he kissed her again. "I was trying to get to the festival sir, do you have any direction in which way it might be in?" She asked him playfully. "Or are you going to make me work for it..." The warmth radiated as she felt his fingers crawl up her neck making her sensors go off in a pleasant tingle. Lacing her fingers through his silver hair she brought his lips to her neck. Vampires had always been senusal, without even meaning to be. This one however was nothing but a mystery, his skin didnt mind the snow, but the sun. A smile never left his tortured eyes. He was beautiful but seeemingly seriously screwed up. Still she chose to trust him. |

"The festival is right that way ma'am.." Draco said as his smile slightly sought to a little trickery of a grin. His intentions letting her go, as he did he snatched her hand back with a quick flick of his wrist. "That's if I let you get there." His fingers reaching for her sides. His cold pale hands feeling warmth for the first time as he began to tickle her. Her body jerking as if she couldn't control the flinches. His hair slide across his face as she bounced about as he continued to torture her with his fingers at her sides. His face stretching to a light smile as he heard her laugh. His dark gloomy figure was gone this night he felt alive even when dead. His blue eyes looked over her jiggling body as he lightly chuckled to her moves. "I don't think your going anywhere young lady. I am afraid I am going to have to ask you to stop laughing or things are gonna get ugly." Playfully saying this he sank his light finger nails into her side make her jump causing her to laugh once more. Realizing she would laugh continued to do it... |

Looking at him she narrowed her eyse. "Noo...." Then he had her. "NO!! NOO!!!" Her laughs were making her somtach hurt. But she was not someone people liked to tickle. Why? She kicked. Hard. She hit. Hard. Hitting him and kicking as hard as she could finally she cursed as she fell to the floor, on her knees she looked up at him sure that she would die from loss of breath. "No! No! Fine Fine! You can lead me there! I'll even treat you to a drnk just stoppp.." She said laughing some more her stomach burning. Putting her hands on her wrists she held tight. "Stop." Now she just breathed, hard. Her heart pumping blood through her exhausted body she could feel his body heat as he was this close to her. "Uhm werent you going to uhmm take me someplace?" She whipsered at him, his voice low in her ear she shivered this time not from the cold that his coat kept from her skin. |

Draco smelled her hair with a fresh feeling of comfort with the odd familiar smell. The soap she used would drive any man crazy and even undead men. His nostrils lightly flared as she finally gave up. Helping her up from the ground he smiled looking at her with little satisfaction. He had won the battle so far with his tickle technique. He felt the light bruise about his thigh from her frantic kick. He lightly wiped his leg and spoke. "Your right, on we go to the festivities." Draco pulling her in close to him as they began to walk. His arm around her as he left hand stroked her left shoulder with warmth from the friction. He paused in his step as they passed a man selling flower. He looked to her and and held his hand out. His one finger raising up. "One sec." His arm lifted from her shoulder as he ran back to grab a rose. Running back up to her in a very quick motion asked her to close her eyes as he held the rose in front of her with a light smile reaching his lips... |

For a moment she just smiled at him then leaned into his body as they walked. His warmth was just what she needed and wanted, his fingers on her skin was the most satisfying feeling on her skin. A smile reached her lips. With an eye roll she closed her lids, darkness filling her eyes until just a moment later she opened them. A perfect red rose filled her vision, she smelled the rose, putting the itp of her nose in the flower she inhaled. "Its perfect." Lacing her fingers through his arm she placed it in her hair, the floewr sticking with great ease to hte wet hair. Like a child she playfully looked up at him. "Are we there YET?" With that she walked faster through the sand. |

Draco watched as she opened her eyes, the glossy red staring back at her with beauty from the rose. Draco lightly smiled once more as he continued to walk with Puppe down the sandy walkway. She seemed almost impatient to get to where they were going. Draco just before speaking heard it among the windows of the town houses about the docking area. A musical high note hit his ears as they seemed to be getting close. The familiar sound of the beat made his body start to move in a swaying motion with Puppe's. "We are almost there right around that corner is the market square." Draco said as he took her hands and lightly began to dance in a backward motion as if taunting her to hurry to dance.. |

Night watched him closely, ah. He wanted her to dance again. The beat was a good one, one that seemed almost tribal. Looking at him she smiled. Contrary to what anyone in the world could probably belive she could do some major tribal dances. Thoguh they took far more effort than one had the energy for. Smilling she finally saw the village, just as she had suspected. People beathing on drums and stomping their feet in a rhythmic pattern. With a smile she ran over and told him to stay put and watch. Stomp. Stomp forward, forward. Clap clap clap right stop, right hit left stop, left hit twist hit back cross and stomp forward. This all took under ten seconds. The natives laughed as she did it with them, she was pretty good but not perfect. They went forward bending down and opening their arms tothe sky, she followed but finally gave up huffing and panting. "Ugh that takes so much energy!" |
