| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. It has come to my attention ( <Line used too much, lolz) that skills have been being changed when already bought and owned, and it didn't get me in a happier mood when I found this out. So, I thought I'd make an announcement saying: Skills are not to be changed when you already own them. If you have a skill and want a different one, sell that skill and buy a new one of what you want. I don't want people going about thinking they can change their skills willy-nilly. So, from this day forward, when you already have a skill, you are not allowed to change it to something else. Same goes for Feats and PrC's and anything else that can be swapped out from something different. Old members who have yet to change their skills from the old version to the new version of skill levels then is allowed to swap skills around then to fit the new skills. Old members who already have adapted to the new set of skills and levels will either have to sell their skills and buy new ones if they wish to have different ones. Alt accounts or any account that has been put into the Retirement group and scrap the character on that account, is still not allowed to change their skills. There may be some change on this one subject of characters getting scrapped on same accounts. It may be allowed, but for a fee of gold. I will discuss this with Veronna later. |
