| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Kaess nodded as he got up. "Indeed all too real. That memory never left me, but I had not wanted to know it again so clearly. To think that creature was a maifestaion of such things. I hope that it stays gone for awhile, but I feel others will see that thing too at some point." He shook his head clearing his thoughts. "Well lets diliver this wierd fish to the druid and be done with it. Can't say I am sorry to leave." Kaess moved off following the others as they left the cave. A few moments latter they came out of the cave about a hundred feet from the lake shore. Kaess blinked welcoming the sunlight. 'Well darkness may be always there, but so is light and I plan on keeping my light stronger than the dark and' He streched a bit and moved out again then stoped. "You know I think we should just have a bit of rest here. Looks like a nice day and I feel like enjoying the light a bit." He found a spot along the shore and laid down in a comfortable spot. Getting ready for a nice rest as he gazed out across the sparkling waters and the fish swiming peacefully in the can next to him. Hearing the peaceful sounds of nature, the birds talking to one another, the wind blowing lightly around him and many other pleasent sound. His eyes closed and he finnaly had peacefull thoughts. Yes a days rest was just what he needed. They would take the fish back starting tommarow. A soon the next day arived and they set out. When they arrived they gave the fish to Icheb and seeing what his response would be. |

Nireza walked back through the cave and soon came out into the sunlight. She was glad to finally see sunlight again after being in that dark cave all that time. She heard the others' answers to her question and now knew that her vision had most likely been of a real event in her past. She didn't like thinking about that vision, but she realized that it might hold a key to discovering her past. She said, "I agree with you, Kaess. It is definitely a good idea to rest before we bring the fish to Icheb. I could definitely use it. Icheb can wait until tomorrow. Let's enjoy these falls." Nireza lay down in the grass, not thinking about anything in particular, but listening to the wind and the other pleasant noises and just relaxing, clearing her mind of the dark thoughts from the cave. She soon fell asleep and awoke, well rested and ready to return to the druid with the fish. |

Kallix did not complain when Kaess mentioned taking a rest. The events had been more taxing than any physical activity. Her mind was drained. The weather cooperated and they seemed to finally find some semblance of peace. She spent too much time watching the strange fish. It did not seem to mind the light even though it lived in darkness. She would have never predicted this type of adventure when she first met Icheb. Still, she would give him a piece of her mind for completely understating the difficulty of the task. She wondered if he knew that this strange occurance may happen to her and her companions. Chi had returned by late day. Falcheer was visible only for a half-moment from a thick cloud. Kali recieved word of her father's good health, but after that, Chi recieved a mental scolding. The tiny dragon seemed remorseful, but she did like to play tricks like that. By sun's fall, Chi had found her nest in Kali's backpack and returned to her hibernation. Given the length of the day, she presumed the dragon would need at least another week, perhaps even a full fortnight, before she would be finished with the cycle. Kali too did her best to get a good night of sleep, clumping moss and soft grass beneath her head to let her watch the stars comfortably. The next day seemed to fly by, and before she knew it, she had the oppurtunity to drag Icheb away and speak with him about less than friendly matters. |
