| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Chris was a little confused since the meeting with the druid, he had been so rude and rude and well....just plain rude! To think that a druid could be such a great archass as that one hand been. Chris wanted to just get the fish and then go with it to him and force it down his throat. He sighed a little as he walked and thought about this. No that would be not so nice and he was going to be betetr then that stupid druid person with such high thougts about himself. Chris kicked away a small rock as he walked and the tail moved from left to right rather quickly as he was irritated and a little mad, but he stopped at he looked around the cave and his eyes grew wide with wonder.....this place was amazing and he had never seen something like it before in his entier life! He smiled a little and the tail began to moved more to the normal 8 he always had it on when he was happier or just curious about something, that of course was one of the things that made him happy. He did not really think about the fish they where suppose to find inside of the cave itself as he was more into looking at the many beautiful crystals at the moment. |

Fara're had not really liked the way the druid had spoken to them. But it did not really matter. She had just shrugged and left to get this task over with. Chris on the other hand seemed to be angry. From the way he walked and especially from the way his tail was moving she knew he was man. "Calm down, Chris," she said. "Icheb is a little...odd. But there are worse people out there. Let just get this task done with, and have fun while we do it." She knew they were close to the caves. She had been here once before. It had been around here she had first met this idiotic mutt. Whom she later found out was Seregon. She really hoped that the werewolf would not show up. She really did not want to have to send him down river again. When they reached the entrance of the caves she carefully moved in. The ground here was very wet and slippery since the falls were not far away. She had only been here a few times, but she still found the crystals a lovely sight. She glanced over to Chris and smiled. He seemed to have cheered up and was now staring in awe at the sparkling rock formations. "Watch were you step," she warned. "The floor is a bit wet around here." |

"Calm down, Chris," she said. "Icheb is a little...odd. But there are worse people out there. Let just get this task done with, and have fun while we do it." Chris could not help but sigh deeply as she said this to him, she was right but it did not really make things any better. "I know that and I am calm" he said, but his voice was a little irritated and slightly wounded. "It is just that I face my worst fears in order to get that stupid flower...and I did not even get to keep one for myself. Then he did not even have the manners to give a real thank you or even listen." the boy frowned a little. "I wonder if he even if a druid, because from what I know druids are kind and gentle....not rude and egocentric like that one" he sighed again and scratched himself on the back of the head for a moment....was he a bed person for saying things like these? Well the druid deserved that....what good use was the flowers anyway? and why some stupid fish? "Watch were you step," she warned. "The floor is a bit wet around here." Chris nodded a little as he hear her boice, at the moment she said that it was a bit wet the little boy almost slipped on the wet floor but did regain the balance before he fell and then he smiled a little and laughed. "Yeah it is a little slippery...I will not forget that anytime soon" he glaced over at Fara´re and smiled a little in a cut friendly way. "So are we looking for some little fish...is there a lake inside of her or something else where a little fish would live in?" he asked with a curious voice and he glanced around the area of the cave they where in at the moment, but he did not see anything that looked like a place a little fish would like to live in. |

Fara're smirked as Chris slipped a little. "See....I told you to be careful," she said. She watched the boy carefully as they walked. Should he slip she would be ready to grab him and keep him from hurting himself too badly. She realize that she had forgotten to bring a lantern. She herself did not need one, she could see clearly in the dark. But Chris would need one later. Not even feline eyes could see through pitch black darkness. But she would worry about that when the time came. For now there was plenty of light. "There are some lakes deep in the caves," she said. "It will be getting very dark, so if you start to have trouble seeing let me know." |

"See....I told you to be careful," Chris blushed a little and scratched himself on the back of the head as he continued to walk deeper into the cavern. He made sure to keep an eye on where he walked so that he would not slipp and fall once again. Now that could feel rather weird and off actually. "I know that" he said and stopped to examine a beautiful crystal, they created a very nice light in the cave so it was not that hard to see where he walked. He did not care about if it was going to be to dark further ahead...yeah that was because he had no idea that it would be darker. "There are some lakes deep in the caves," she said. "It will be getting very dark, so if you start to have trouble seeing let me know." Chris nodded a little, he hoped that she was right....well Fara´re often knew what she talked about so that was not going to be much of a problem. Well since it was a fish they where looking for then he was going to like this, he liked to fish whenever he could and was actually very good at just that when he had to be of felt like it. When she talked about the darkness he nodded slowly to show that he heard what she said, so far he was pretty able to see everything that was present, if it got darker he would tell her if he did not see anything. |

Fara're continued to lead the way into the caves. So far it was a nice straight line. Good, would make getting out easier. If it was all branched and maze like it would make finding their way around a lot harder. Her keen ears slowly moved around listening to any sounds. In the distance she could hear water dripping somewhere deep in the caves. She figured that might be where the lake was. The last time she had come here...had been threw a very different manner. But it was not just water she was listening for. She also wanted to make sure nothing was trying to sneak up on them. It would not be fun to try and have a battle while inside a damp cave. As she had previously warned Chris, it was getting darker. She remembered the lake they were going to was lite, but she did not know how far it was. They could very well loose all source of light before they found this lake. But she knew once they found the lake catching the fish would be an easy task. After all...they were two 'cats' trying to catch a fish. |

Chris continued to walk slowly thought the cavern and he made sure to keep an eye on his feet so that he would not fall and slip or anything. He let out a slight yawn that revealed his sharp feline like fangs, he also stretched the arms over his head for a few seconds, then he glanced around them and Fara+re had been right when she talked about the dark. It was getting darker and darker all the time. He hoped that Fara´re knew where they where going since Chris had never been there before in his entier life...not what he could remember anyway. He started to have it worse to see as it was now so he began to walk a little more slowly then before. "Mommy, It is start to get a little dark." he said with a low voice as he stopped and looked into the darkness, he was not very comfortable with just walking right into a place he did not see anything inside of. He was afraid of what might jump out on them in there somewhere, he had a very bad feeling about everything. |

Fara're reached back and took Chris' hand when he said it was getting dark. She gave him a gentle smile. "Its okay," she said. "I can still see clearly. Here let me guide you. I won't let you bump into anything. We should be there soon." With that she began to slowly lead Chris through the cave. She took great care to make sure he did not hit anything. Giving him words of encouragement along the way. She wished she had thought to bring a lantern so she could light his way, but it was too late for that. She would have to be his eyes for him. Since he had to lead the boy she moved much slower than she normally would have. It was a long twenty minutes before it started to get light again. Slowly the light grew brighter. She gentle sound of water was getting louder as well. They were close. It would not be too much longer before they were at the lake. |

"Its okay," she said. "I can still see clearly. Here let me guide you. I won't let you bump into anything. We should be there soon." Chris heard her voice and he nodded a little as he felt that she took his hand in the darkness, well since she could see things better then him then it was not going to be a problem for them. The teen did not at all like this darkness but the words Fara´re said a little now and then was very useful to help him thought it all, but his grip on her hand tightened a little now and then when a sound was heard in the darkness, this was a dark place...but it did not lack life at all and sounds was heard a little now and then as the pair walked. A guess from someone that knew would say it was an insect of some kind and nothing more then that. The minutes passed slowly to Chris and it felt like an eternity before he started to be able to see again as the light began to return to the cave, his ears also noticed the sound of water and he smiled a little as he heard it. They where soon going to be there at the lake. Or well he guessed that they where soon going to be there...how deep could this cave be anyway? |

Fara're kept a close eye on Chris as they walked. She was glad when they reached some light again. She glanced up and say a hole in the ceiling of the cave where their source of light came from. As she turned around an out crop of rocks there was the lake the sought. The water was bright blue and almost seemed to glow with the reflections of the crystals all around them. There was something about the water here that was different from that of the waterfall out side, or the lake in Norwood. No wonder why the druid wanted water from here. "Well...lets go catch this fish," she said to Chris. She knelt down by the water and filled the container she had brought with the pristine liquid. Now all they had to do was find that fish. |

Chris actually also looked up at the hole where the light came from at the same moment as Fara´re did, so that was why the light returned? Well that was cool and he was curious to know what it looked like up there. But now was not the time to try and go in an exploring adventure since they had more important things to do then that. The boy yawned slightly and he stopped at the spot when they walked around the crop of rocks and he noticed the lake, he just stood there and looked for a few minutes. "COOL!" he said then and smiled brightly and walked after mommy and he watched her as she gathered the water they needed. He had a great urge to take a swim right then and there, but they had to find the fish....but then again if he was inside of the lake it would be eaiser for him to find the fish, right? He thought about this for a moment and then he looked at Fara´re. "Mommy should we search inside of the lake?" this was in fact a hidden way to ask; mommy can I go for a swim in the lake? The teen anyway looked at Fara´re with hopeful eyes and waited to see what she would say. |

Fara're smirked a bit. She knew exactly what Chris meant by his question. The boy wanted to go for a swim. "You don't need to ask in a round about way," she said. "Yes, you may for a swim. Just be careful not to scare the fish too much or we many never find them." She then walked over to the edge of the lake and looked over the water. It was very clear and she could easily see to the bottom. Every so often she saw something shinny flint by in the water. She figured those must be the crystal fish they were after. She reached into her pack and pulled out a small loaf of bread. With bread in hand she walked back over to the lake and leap forward. She gracefully landed on a large rock sticking out above the surface of the water. She broke off a piece of the bread and crumbled it onto the water. Now she just had to wait for a fish to come take the bait. The weretiger sat perfectly still as she watched the water. One hand raised ready to strike the moment an unsuspecting fish came within reach. |

"You don't need to ask in a round about way," she said. "Yes, you may for a swim. Just be careful not to scare the fish too much or we many never find them." Chris looked at her and then he blushed a little around the cheek, damn she had read him just like that? No fair! The teen calmly thought of something quick to reply to her but nothing came to mind right away and it took him a few seconds before he talked. "I will be careful" was what he said and his voice had a happy tune over it as he walked to the edge of the water and crunched down as he examined the surface and then he slowly moved one hand and touched the water, it was not all to cold but not all to warm either. This was going to be refreshing! Chris then stood back up and calmly began to pull of his clothes and placed them in a pile next to the water. When he was done with this he stretched his arms as he examined the lake with his eyes. He judged on how deep it was and if it would be possible for him to dive or not. Yeah he could dive alright. The youn tiger took two steeps backwards and then he charged forward and dived into the calm water, this created a few seconds of unorder before it calmed down again. Chris moved thought the water and returned to the surface a few seconds later. The boy looked around and noticed Fara´re as she was waiting for her bait, Chris tilted his head to the side and then he smiled brightly. "Mommy, look what I can do to help" he said and raised his hand out from the water, he made a simple gesture with his fingers and whispered something and there was a slight blue flash moving from his hand into his body as he used the spell to detect aquatic life. Chris often used this magic when he was fishing and it had helped him many times as by doing this he could tell where the fishes was and find the perfect spot to catch them. "Mom, to you left is one" he said with a low voice, but he knew that Fara´re would still hear him perfectly. |

Fara're watched the water intently. It did not take long before some of the fish started to gather. Several did come in range, but they were just normal fish and not what she was seeking. Out of the corner of her eye she caught a flash of light. A moment later she heard Chris say there was one to her left. She looked and indeed there was one there. It swam around slowly, but was just out of her reach. All she needed was for it to come and take a bit of the bait...then she could swipe it. The weretiger remained perfectly still. All that moved where her eyes as she tracked her prey's movements. Her patience soon rewarded her. The crystal fish ascended up in the water and began to feed upon the soggy pieces of bread. With a sudden movement she plunged her hand into the water where the fish was. She then swiped up catching the fish in the movement. The other fish all darted off in different directions, not wanting to become the next target. But her prey was not so lucky, thing was shot out of the water and went flying through the air. Its flight ended when it landed on the shore just a few inches away from the water's edge. "Put in the pail before it can get back into the water!" she told Chris. |

Chris excitedly watched mommy as she was waiting for the right moment to catch the fish he had pointed out to her. He loved to fish as he thought it was a really nice way to train the skills in many ways, stealth only one of the once. The teen actually often spent time by the norwood lake fishing when he did not have anything else to do. But he never understood why people used those weird fishing tools, why use them? That took away more then half of all the fun....and it took time and made things so much more boring then they really had to be, some people was just weird. Chris watched Fara´re as she striked and then his eyes followed the fish when it was flying though the air and landed on the shore, he heard mommy´s words and as a good boy he was he complied to it right away and made his way to the shore where the fish was...as he swam he tried to remember one of the other spells Ethari had teached him not long ago at the lake, he whispered something and focused the magic on the fish and before the little animal had the time to get down into the safe water again it flew up into the air from Chris wind magic. The tigerboy then quickly moved it to water Fara´re had been gathering to transport the fish and when it was above he released the magic and the fish feel down. With this done Chris stopped and smiled a little as he turned the gaze to the older weretiger. "So are we done with this task now then?" he asked her happily. |
