Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own.

In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins.

There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free.

A man walked to the mouth of the cave and greeted Jasmine. She studied him for a moment before speaking. There was a strange familiarity about the man who stood before. She did not know who he was but she felt something within him. Jasmine would have her captor soon.

“I am a friend, sir. The bandits have been disposed of and there is no longer any threat.”

Jasmine’s red leather armor creaked as she stepped to the left. She needed to seek purchase in sturdier ground if there was going be battle. The yellow phoenix emblem shimmered in the sunlight as she moved. Jasmine looked up at the man, waiting for his next. She was ready if he did not trust her.

Erins eyes widened at his words, then she nodded a little with a worried look in her eyes. "Be careful....don´t die" she said with a low voice to him and then she did as she was told and used her wind powers to remove all air around the fire making it die out very quickly since it did not get any more air. With this done the young lady walked to the back of the cave.

Then she turned and looked after Mith as he left and she had a hard time to really hear what was said outside, but she hoped that there was not going to be a fight, she did not like fights and they where useless. As she was now she would not be able to do much damage since she had used up most of her magical energy when she blasted away the werewolfs out into the lake. But she of course made herself ready to act if she had to, she could heal at a long distance to and her skills was greater then most in that part. It was then that she rememberd someone...yeah of course this might be useful if she had to!

Mith dissipated the mist and then preceded to approach the woman. Hello. Who are you and how did you find us? He seemed uneasy but yet at peace like Astral calmed him because he knew her even though Mithranduir didn’t. Well if you have no intention of harming me then I have no intention of harming you. I am Mithranduir StormCrow. What’s your name? It seems I know your face but I just can not put a name with it. Mith relaxed he didn’t want to lead her into the back of the cave just yet before he knew what she was and what she wanted with him.
He felt the cave’s dampness from the mist on his feet and as the staligmites were dripping like rain had gotten into the cave and just dampened everything. He enjoyed this after mist residue it gave this hole in the mountain a nice cool place to retreat for the sun was getting higher and it was getting hotter. He turned to the woman again and asked, What became of the people wi th the werewolves? Did they escape? Are they still tracking us? If you could find us what makes you so sure that they couldn’t? Mith had a lot of questions he was rexlaxed but still ready for if the time came to fight.

Wind could be heard inside of the cave which would lead Jasmine to assume that there was another entity in there. Caves did not generate wind of any sort. They were dead holes in the mountain; nothing more, nothing less. She smiled at the man that stood before her. Many men seemed to ‘know’ her face. She was very beautiful and the whole lot of the male species would make any attempt to hold Jasmine in their arms. Jasmine did not mean any harm to this. She needed him alive.

“I am Jasmine. My intent is not to harm you, but to be sure that you are well. I tracked you up to this cave. Also, whoever is in there with you may come out as well. There was more than one set of foot prints in the mud.”

Jasmine looked back from where she came. If there were any surviving bandits, they would not follow her unless they were complete fools. As for the werewolves, she did not know if they would come this way. She would be prepared for their arrival. With big green eyes, Jasmine returned her gaze at the man before her.

“The bandits will not come this way. I saw everything that happened. I was finding food for my bird when I heard all the commotion. They have been taken care of. I followed your tracks this way because I wanted to be sure that the two of you were safe.”

Erin calmly listened to what was said outside, she did not really know what she would do about this, she was a little worried when the voice suddenly called for her to come out. Mith had told her to stay in the back of the cavern, but this voice told her to come out. Erin was unsure of what she really would do or not, well she had a plan of her own to use if things would turn out the wrong way.

Slowly Erin walked towards the entrance of the cavern and she stopped as she came to Mith, she gave him a weak smile and then her blue eyes moved to the woman, for some reason she sent a shiver down the girls spine. Who was this woman? She was beautiful, most likely any man would fall for her in a matter of seconds, for some reason she was happy she was not a man then. She did not really know what she would say to the woman so she did not say anything at all to her for now. She did smile in a polite way and nodded a little at her as a greeting.

Mithranduir relaxed more then and said, Come then sorry for the apprehensiveness I just didn't want my friend to get hurt. I care more about her safety then my own. It's the way I am. Follow me. Mithranduir was confused. Astral was telling him something but he couldn't figure out what. So as he got back to the doused fire and then said to Erin, Erin it's okay, she's fine. She actually got the bandits that were chasing us. So no need to hide anymore. He hoped this women wasn't going to be hostile at least in front of his friend. He sat down and started the fire. Thank you for taking care of them for us. May I ask what you want with us?
