Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own.

In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins.

There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free.

Arthur listened to his friend and the drow chatter. When the drow mentioned he had run afoul of women before Arthur laughed. He had run afoul of one or two in his time as well. Woman usually killed quicker than men and for half the reason. The Umbra approached him and stomped on his foot. He felt a slight jolt of pain that would have been intense in human form. He smiled at her just the same. The she walked over and sat by her master. Arthr shook his head and said," Remind me never to get between you and your friend there".

Arthur then looked at Celebriel as she talked to the Umbra and Arthur said," I myself have had some off experinces with women. Lovely creatures but dangerous if you make them angery. No offense Celebriel, but I'd rather fight 100 men than one angery woman." Arthur smiled at himself and hoped had not nagered his friend.

Gwen sniffed at celebriel's hand cautiously, looking back at Eliel. Sending him a vague question, he shook his head with a laugh. “I don't. It's fine.” He laughed. Gwen snorted at him and returned to sniffing the hand. After a couple seconds, the umbra walked forward and leaned on Celebriel in a friendly way. The half-dragon would need her strength here.

Eliel chuckled at Arthur. “One doesn't usually need reminding not to.” He winked and slapped Gwen's flank. The umbra glared at him playfully, but didn't do anything. He laughed at arthur's comment.

“I don't know if truer words have ever been spoken, friend. Women are a fierce creature.” He broke into free laughter, eyes squinting, his smile was so big.

Celebriel smiled as the cat leaned on her. She braced her legs and used her strong tail to help support the weight. With her clawed hands she gently scratch the umbra behind the ears.

She then looked up at them men and smiled. They were talking about a woman's wrath. "Well they do say that hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn," she said. "But you won't have to fear this woman's scorn. I rarely get angry so most people don't need to be afraid of that."

Arthur smiled when the Umbra finally accepted his fried. He was afraid that it might consider her a threat. Then Arthur would have been forced to act. Arthur let go such thoughts. He listened to the man and smiled. He said," My father used to say a woman will kill quicker than a man and usually for half the reason. Knowing my mother he was probably right, because there were tiems when I thought she woudl strangle us both. Even if it is hard to strangle a dragon."

Arthur then looked at the Umbra leaning agianst his friend. SHe then spoke about not being angery. Arthur smiled he knew she wasn't lying but he knew that even one who didn't get angery often was usually the worst. He said," All the mopre reason to worry Celebriel, a woman who doesn't get angery often is a volcano waiting to erupt. No offense meant ofcourse".
