| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Yaksha held out his hand, palm upturned. His other hand was moving through the pockets of his clothes, until finally they found a small, silver goblet. He brought his palm to his face, looking at it neutrally for a minute, then bit savagely into the meat of his palm, drawing blood in a spurt. He hung his hand over the goblet, flexing it to help the blood flow out, then took a sip. Miraculously, the wound closed, with no sign it had ever been there. He smiled at Orion, and handed him the goblet. "Drink, if you thirst." He waved his hands at the corpses around them, his voice soft and calm. "Lesson 1, deaden yourself to this sight. In order to make death an art, you must be able to look at it with the same critical manner you'd look at some fine painting. Lesson 2...." He whirled on the ball of his foot, and ran a hand over a cheek of one of the corpses. "Know what you want to do before you start. Once you know what you're trying to acheive, you know what you need to do it." |

Draco intently watched as he smirked at Yaksha. His palm turned upward as he began to smoothly walk through the master work of his own. He calmly spoke as if he was eager to get to the lessons for Draco. Draco was listening easily as his mind was booming with simple ideas. He lightly watched Yaksha's hand brush off one of the dead corpse's cheek. Draco followed Yaksha with his eyes as he smiled at his absolute glorious motions. It was as if Yaksha was in his own little world of harmony. Draco walked forward lightly and spoke, "So before I kill make sure I have a vision of what Project I want to do. That way I can get the supplies before hand. Death is a truly wonderful art, I just did it quickly my friend. As for the third lesson?" Draco asked lightly concerned at what the next answer would be. Draco had the basics of what he needed to do down, but other then that he was simply curious as to what Yaksha was thinking. Draco lightly turned around about his heels as he looked to one of the art works behind him and chuckled lightly. He then twirled about his toes as he faced Yaksha waiting for an answer... |
