| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

"Lilith are you okay," Ace yelled as he rushed to her. He casted haste as he ran to her aid. He then casted a quickened shield and turned to face the rat. Ace's green eyes were fixated on the motions of the skeletal beast. After sending small skeletal rats in every direction the giagantic rat stopped spinning and turned to face Lilith and Master Ace. The rats thaat hade spun off no longer moved about. Liltih's blade moved about quickly and made it's way deeper into the rat. Soon it was lost amid the scurring rats, the glowing light at it's heart seemed unharmed by liltih strike, but it did seem to be much brighter than before she attacked. |

"Here goes nothing.." Kli said, closing her eyes and unsheathing her blade. Soon there seemed to be three of her. The three Kli's ran around, trying to make sure the rat didn't know which is real and which is fake. Each tried to attack at different points, teleporting to different places. This definately confused it, but nothing could stop the force of the undead monster like rat. The rat attacked one, luckily it was just a fake one, but when he attacked another, it unfortunately was the right one. She winced, hurting badly now, but it was her that never could give up. She teleported inside the so called belly of the beast since she could see it through his rib cage. She started attacking the purple glow with her blade, trying not to get too close just incase. But when it started looking as if it was going to blow up, she tried to get her sword out. It was stuck, she finally pulled it out though and fell through the rib cage and on to the ground below. There was a loud noise as she hit the floor, putting her hands over her head as the small dead rats started to fall. She laid there, eyes closed as she tried not to think of the pain that she obviously felt. |

Verling jumped back and put his right arm in front of his face just in time to block one of the rats that was flying towards him from the blast. As soon as the bones stoped flying towards him he sheathed his sword and ran over to Kli. He looked at her and said "I don't know how you came up with that idea but it worked." He leaned down beside her and cast heal then looked over to Master Ace and said "So what now?" |

The bones had now fallen in all small pile. Ace turned to Lilith to see if she was okay. She had no bruises. Ace moved to the pile of bones. Just As Verling asked his question Alice appeared at the door. She had a strange new scent about her as she descended the steps. "An excellent job. You've all done well," she said as she moved to the pile of bones and began to search through them. She picked out Lilith's blade and handed it to Ace. She then fished out a cracked purple orb which was the object that growed so brightly and served as the creature heart. Ace opened his mouth to say something, but no words came out only a long yawn. His eyes were now feeling heavily weighted. Ace was not the only one to have these effects. Kli, Lilith and Verling all succumbed to he power of Alice's perfume. The perfume made those unaccustomed to it overcome with a deep slumber. Ace staggered slightly before falling to the ground. (We will be moving the topic to the Quest.) |
