Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. "Of course." She directed him towards a small cove and sat down on a big rock."Now please tell me what all this is about."She practically spit the words at him.She didn't want to be mean, in fact it was really hard for her to be mean.She had to work at the facial expressions so her real self wouldn't show through.She couldn't be angry at Drake.She was starting to think of him as family.She just really wanted to protect him.Which was a funny thought considered she was smaller than 1/4 of him. |

drake looked at lilith for a moment then he looked down at the ground and began to tell his story, "two years ago some hunters began to kill every dragon of my species their first victims some that i didnt even know so it didnt bother me at first it seemed like they were just randomly killing dragons but they werent we realized that they were only killing my speiceis they pickked us off one by one they killed my friends and my family all of my brothers and sisters were killed by them, soon they had killed every dragon of my speceis except one me. they use weapons tipped with mythrill the only material sharp enough to cut through my scales and sometimes rarely they have been known to put poison on their arrows the poison doesnt kill, it paralysis its vitims slowly. i dont know why they want to kill us all off but they do." drake looked back up at lilith "thats every thing i can tell you. dont you have to heal a sick child?" |

Lilith couldn't help herself, she began to cry.She sniffed and tried to wipe the tears away."Oh I just don't understand why they would want to kill such beautiful creatures."She stomped her foot in anger."I will not let them have you!!" She buried her face in her lap and continued to sob.When she felt she could control herself, she looked up at the beautiful dragon."If I leave to heal the child, can I count on you to still be here when I get back?I really think I can help you."She looked sadly at him.Her eyes were red from crying and she could feel her cheeks had puffed up.She never got sad.*This just isn't fair.I will kill those hunters one by one!* |
