Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Lilith walked the empty streets of the village. Everyone was inside the Inn partying the night away. She eventually would wonder into the Inn but right now she wanted to check out the neighbooring woods to pick out a nice spot to sleep.She had been traveling for many days now in no particular direction just searching for sign of life.Her life was centered around such things.She went where she was needed. She was at this particular village to heal a sick child.But she would get to that later. The sun was just starting to set and already the woods looked lonesome and dark.But she knew better.There were always creatures out in the woods waiting to attack any passerbys.Which was why she always carried her dagger with her.It was all she really needed considering she had amazing reflexes and a deep knowlegde of magic.Granted, she didn't know many spells, but she was an Earth mage and knew enough things to help her fight enemies. She found a nice grassy spot next to a giant tree, to put down her things and think.In the morning she would go to the Inn to heal the sick child.But for now she wanted to just gaze into the sky and rest. |

Jing sat nearby at tree trunk sleeping. Jing had black spiked up hair. His cloths cosisted of a large yellow overcoat and black pants and a matching shirt. Around Jings neck was a neck was a chain with a glowing blue cristal. Jings yellow overcoat was off and in his silver bag with the blue star on it. Jing wasent dreaming about anything. Jing rarly everhad a dream ulass it is about his parents. Jing had lost his parents when he was five he ran away from home for a week and then came back and they were gone. There was blood in his house. He wasent sure if it was theirs or not but he always had flash backs of the time he came home. Jing had just remembered this in his sleep and strted to toss and turn. Jing woke up and sat strait up. He was breathing deeply.* It was a dream.* He said looking to the ground. Jing heard something, he looked around and couldent see anyone.* Whos there.* Jing said in a loud calm voice. |

Increasent lay up aginst a small bush,her black hair twined with multi colored string lay in the hood of her cloak.Green eyes gazed around her body which was covered by a red velvet dress.Long elven ears stuck out from her black locks that started to blow around her head.She knew alot about her surroundings having to learn because of her ignorence as a small child,she had run away and had been alone ever since she was a woman of few words, and did what she had to do to survive.She is greedy,selfish,and hot tempered at times.Though a loner she was sure of what she wanted and was willing to get rid of anyone who stands in her way. |

Lilith was sleeping peacefully when she thought she heard a noise.She sat straight up and listened to the silent night.Finally she heard it. "Who's there?", she heard a man's voice say. She got up and tiptoed to the place where she heard the voice.Hiding behind a large tree, she surveyed the speaker.He wasn't more than a boy who looked very lonely.He seemed to be sweating as if he had had a bad nightmare.She was going to approached him silently, but a branch snapped under her. She gasped and stood out in full view."I mean you no harm.I am Lilith.What are you doing out here all alone?" |

Jing looked up at the woman.* Lilith is that you.* Jing noticed that it was.* How have you been. I am out here because I have a job at the green griphon. I dont have a enough money to by a room and pluse it is much better sleeping out here.* Jing said smileing.* So why are you out here???* JIng said with a smirk. |

drake was asleep in the forest when he woke up to the sound of voices he got up and walked over to where he had heard them and saw two peaple "hello my name is drake." |

Lilith was delighted at seeing Jing again.She was so happy that she ran over to him and hugged him."I'm sorry but I am very happy to see you again Jing." She looked at Drake and offered him a hand to shake."Hello Drake.I am the Faerie Lilith." She laughed when she saw he was a dragon and couldn't shake her hand."Oh my I am sorry.I am use to being around humans and elves." She wasn't sure how dragons introduced themselves so she stared absently at him."I'm sorry if I'm staring but uh I don't know how to eh make your aquantince."She blushed and looked at the ground.She was normally never embarrased but yet she had never met a dragon before either.She was very curious in the newcomer. |

"I am a Faerie and an Earth Mage.I am at my happiest under the night sky and the shelter of the trees.I can not stand to be indoors under a roof where I can't feel the breeze upon my cheek or hear animals chirping happily nearby.I always sleep in the woods so I can make sure my moon is still hanging high above my head.Also I am near the village to heal a sick child.I wander around many places looking for new aquantinces and to help whoever I can."She smiled happily at Drake."And may I inquire as to why a dragon is out here?" |

drake yawned "sorry about that im still half asleep, i wander the country and i go wherever fate leads me. but i have no idea what its like indoors since hteir arnt any buildings large enough for me to fit inside of, and even if their were every time i try to enter a city i am chased out." |

She suddenly felt sad for this beautiful creature."Well if it helps I think you are absolutely beautiful and I would never think of chasing you away.In fact I would be honored if you would stay in my company for as long as you wish."She giggled.The image of a faerie and a dragon side by side was absolutely hysterical."I'm sorry.I'm not laughing at you.It's just that here I am at 5 feet tall and you are so so...big. But you are no where near being an evil creature.Please bless me with your company." She motioned to the ground beside her then wondered if dragons sat.*hmm how will I know when I am offending him?I have never been near a dragon before.I guess I will follow my instincts.*She thought to herself.She grinned up at the huge dragon. |

drake sat down beside her and thought for a moment then he looked over at lilith "i would be happy to stay with you." drake began to think to himself "i cant stay with her forto long or the hunters will catch my trail again and find me but it should be ok to stay for a little while after all im getting a little tired of running." |

She sensed that Drake seemed a little uneasy and wondered if it was because of her.She had never questioned herself before and wondered at this."Well I see that you are tired.I don't know if you have had dinner yet so if you need food I will be glad to go and hunt and prepare you some food."Lilith asked herself what a dragon would eat.*Maybe large chickens?What if he is a vegaterian?It must be very hard to get full.Would it be insulting to ask questions like this?Maybe when I get to know him better.* She looked at Drake and took his full body height and length in.Wow he was one big dragon. |

She heard his stomach growled and knew she would have to feed him.She couldn't help but be kind to this wonderful creature.She was always curious about things and she really wanted to know what it would be like to be so big and tall.*He must scare all the evil people away for who would be ignorant enough to face him?* She reached over and petted Drake on the foot.She hoped this seemed like a friendly gesture and not a threatening one."I love to hunt and cook.Believe me it would be no trouble at all." She got up and searched her bag for her dagger.Before Drake could say anything else she flew off into the woods. She hunted for over an hour trying to gather enough food for him.She had 4 rabbits, 5 squirrels, and had picked over 40 apples from a nearby tree.Then she had collected water in her cooking pot. She was exhausted.She wished she could fix him a nice meal but she didn't suppose a dragon thought of such things.If he needed more to eat, she would take her short sword in the morning and find some deer. |
