| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Adsero walked about. Since she had made this place her home she had been trying to discover anything she could about it. So far all she found was a tunnel and a half collapsed building she called "home". |

Drizza stumbled upon the ruins. Damn the drow thought I'm lost again! As Drizza walked around, tyring to find her way again, she saw a tunnel. With her curious nature, Drizza decided to go inside. |

Adsero wondered around and simply started to kick things out of frustration. She kicked the wall and jamed her bare foot. Curses fell fluently from her mouth, some in a language not many would understand. |

The tunnel was dark, but Drizza was accostomed to seeing this kind of light and had no problem. The sound of curses and banging noises made Drizza wonder what laid at the end of the tunnel. She unshealthed her sword, afraid that the source of the noise would attack her. |

Adsero bit her lip, tasting the sharp slatiness of her blood. She grabbed her hurt foot and hopped around on the other. Soon she found she was hopping towards the way she had come, and towards Drizza whom she didn't know was there. |

"Who are you?" said Drizza pointing her sword at the woman. Strange people were often people Drizza would be suspicious with. Her other hand unshealthed the other blade and before long, Drizza pointed the two blades at the woman. "Speak now or I shall be forced to eliminate you." |

Adsero calmed herself and stood still to face the woman. A small fire ball fell from her hand and rolled to the woman, the returned. It's safe. "I'm adsero. And i don't think you will find the need to eliminate me. Who are you that roams the ruins?" Adsero set her foot on fire to cool the pin welling up. The wall had been wet. |

* A black cloaked figure stalked his way between the rocks and rubble of the ruins, searching for anything that may be of vaule to him. His long robes and cloak trailed behind him, sweeping the floor in a flurry of dust as he walked purposefully towards a dark, menacing tunnel, half hiden among the fallen remains of a once grand city, now a forgotten place that was said to be haunted. Those rumours were the very thing that drew Tyrion to explore the ruins plus the fact of maybe discovering treasure there. He ducked his head as he stepped inside the cool tunnel, and breathed a sigh of relief as the hot glare of the sun was unable to reach him here. He walked for what felt like hours for him, his throut dry and his legs tired. He stopped suddenly and half-sat, half-collapsed onto the floor in exhaustion. He sat against the wet tunnel wall resting, watching drops fall from the roof and slash into a small puddle. In the distance, he thought he could hear someone shouting, but he was unable to figure out what was being said. He picked himself up, rested slightly, and stalked off to find the source of the noise, his dagger carefully concealed among the many folds and layers of his clothing. he stepped noiselessy, a whisper in the shadow, as he pulled his large hood over his head, obscuring nearly all his face apart from his silver/blue eyes.* |

"I am Rilrae," Drizza lied casually "a drow merchant from the Underdark." She avoided revealing her name to strangers because she didn't trust them. They could use her name for many purposes and that was one thing Drizza didn't like. But the drow began to wonder why the walls were so wet. Normally in the Underdark, everywhere was dry or kept dry, because water could destroy and weaken the material holding something up. |

"Uh huh.." Adsero looked around at the wet walls. "Do you know if there is anyone else in here?" Adsero listened hard but heard only the drip of water. "Why is there so much water! There isn't usualy water down here. Not that I know of in any case." |

"It is not good in any case to be in a wet underground tunnel" said Drizza, trying to listen for this 'unknown' person Adsero claimed she heard. There were more drips then suddenly there was a rumble. Drizza almost jumped out the sound and rushed out to the tunnel to see what had happened. There were clouds of dust everywhere, blinding her vision. From what Drizza could see, the water had cause a part of the tunnel to collaspe. It was probably the only exit and entrance this forsaken place had. "I would suggest we find an alternative route out as soon as possible" Drizza said, running back. The material from these ruins were old, and were already subjected to years of withstanding wind and water. It could collapse any moment, killing the two of them. |

Adsero groaned and looked around for an escape. "It's a really good thing I'm not clostrophobic." She started to walk around and look for an exit. After a while she started to think there was no way out but abondoned the thoughts jsut to keep herself moving. She made several little fireballs and sent them searching the ruins. She could feel each one moving and when one went out from all the water, she knew it. |

Drizza walked around, insepcting the walls. They seemed as i they couldn't withstand the pressure very long and they needed an exit quickly. She ran out to the tunnel, to the location where it had collasped. Perhaps she could move all of this rubble out of the way and escape. But by looking at the size of the rubble mound, the chances of them removing all of it before the rest of the ruins collasped were slim. Several more water drops dripped and Drizza was getting very annoyed with the sound. She stormed up to the spot water was dripping in and looked at it angrily. The drow had to resist the urge to pound the tunnel walls with her fists, a idiotic attempt to stop the leaking. The water has to have come from somewhere, such a large amount cannot flow freely among the ruins. |

I guess it's time i introduce myself or they'll never get out of here *Stepping from the shadows silently, Tyrion stalked a few metres behind the couple that were seeking an exit, hiding his dagger from view as to not scare them into thinking he was going to attack them. He glanced backwards and saw complete and utter darkness. The walls grew increasingly damp, water no longer dripping but pouring down in small waterfalls and streams agaisnt the slick, moss covered rock and flowing downhill along the tunnel floor.* *Watching the girl that was pounding the rubble angrily, he layed a hand against the rock surface, cold water flowing over his skin, splattering and splashing onto his black robes. Tyrion closed his eyes in concentration, summoning his magic from within and cast it out from his palm and over the water, freezing the liquid in seconds, the ice spreading rapidly making crackling noises as the water's temperature was dramitically reduced below zero. The air inside gained a sudden chill and he wrapped his arms around him to warm himself up.* *He then strolled over to the two people to reveal his presence to them, his footsteps now reverberating around the tunnel noisly.* |

Drizza saw the water drops suddenly freeze and they became icicles. Surprised at the sudden freeezing of the water, Drizza spun around and saw a black robed man. Instinctively the drow drew her blades and held her ground. "Take one more step and I shall ensure that you will never walk upon these lands again" she growled, her swords itching to take a slice at the figure. Drizza was unsure of his motive and would remain untrusting until it could be proved otherwise. |
