Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. A fine layer of dust covered the furless Solaris and her clothes, making it obvious she had already explored a bit while she waited for Vulpes. She located a large stone from a nearby wall and perched herself atop it, humming while waiting. |

Vulpes(in human form) wlaked along the ruins. when he found Solaris, she was on a rock. He went over to her. "Hi" was all he said alound but he continued in their familliar mind link.We marking places off our list or something? He looked around them. Lately it seemed they had been going to every place they could find to learn about this strange place called Imythess. |

Solaris nodded, shifting on the rock so that he could sit down as well, though she didn't stop her humming. Seems as much, and I did want to see and explore these ruins. Her own mentalvoice replied through the mind link. |

Vulpes smiled. It's a good plan at least. I went to the bar in talas to get a job but they didn't need anyone and the bar in kellen got burned. Not to the ground but its taken on a dark coloring. Suposidly some woan did it during a fight that took place. He sent her a picture of the scorched building through the mind link. It might be best NOT to work at a bar. we can hunt for ourselves so we could possibly do without. |

Her humming ended abruptly as she snickered at the image. Don't think I would want to work there either and you are right, we can hunt for ourselves. But we can't stay in at the Elfsong inn forever, we need to get a house. |

Solaris nodded in agreement, then replied aloud. "Yes, that would work quite well...We would need to hunt larger animals, which means you need to work on your hunting." A small grin spread across her face as she poked him in the side. |

Solaris laughed, "I am positive that they wont buy bugs... We'll just have to start hunting more, and then maybe you'll get better." Which will take a miracle, she added through the mind link. |

Vulpes turned fox and turned to face solaris. "then lets go hunting." Vulpes ran off and started searching for any animal life. |

Solaris shifted to fox as well then slid off the rock and followed after him. She carefully went through the scents brought to her upon the wind then glanced around curiously. What do you smell? What animal scents can you find? She finally asked Vulpes through the mind link. |

Vulpes crouched down neer a river that ran beside the ruins. A verys small pack of deer were there. deer His eyes focused on the small one in the back of the herd. One has had a baby. The baby seems limp. Like it has a hurt leg. Should we try to go after it? |

Solaris carefully circled around till she was on the other side of the deer herd. If it is that small then it probably wont survive for long... Yes. |

Vulpes creped out twords the herd. He jumped up onto the young deers back and bit sharply into his neck for a quick kill. Quickly, he jumped off of the animal and bared his blood stained teeth at the other creatures scaring them away from his kill. They are coming your way if you saw any other weak ones. |

Solaris nodded, watching as most of the herd thundered past the leaped upon a weaker, older deer. Her fangs tore through the old doe's throat, a quick almost painless death. That was fun. |
