Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. "I'm all alone again..." Vexx shouted in the empty Cathedral. "I still don't remember who I am or even what I am." He said to referring to the wings on his back. It has been over a year since Vexx has lost his memory. A year since all the people he valued faded away like they were never there. "I cant keep on living like this... I need answers to my questions... I need to find out who I am..." Vexx stood up from the spot on the floor where he had been whining and walked out of the cathedral. |

Hearing somebody yelling, Xi'Nazreth came running, wondering is the person was in trouble. As he came to the front of the Cathdral, he noticed a human standing there, a frown on his face. The only strange thing about this human was that he had wings. Wings! He had never seen this before, and curious about most everything in this world of Imythess, he appraoched the stranger. "Are you alright?" |

Lothlómendil had heard yelling from inside the Cathedral, so she came out from the back, and came upon Xi, and a strange human with wings. She came closer. "Are you okay?" she asked the man. |

Vexx slowly backed up as the girl and the boy came closer to him. "Who are you?" Vexx asked not knowning rather to trust them or not. |

Ciara had been watching from the top of one of the crumbling buildings within the ruins. It wasn't often that she came to this place, but for some reason, it seemed as though the winds themself had brought her here and she had decided that a day in the ruins wouldn't be so bad. Beauty was always found in the darkest of places. It was only moments ago that she had head yelling, she curiously looked around, not in any sort of hurry to find the voices as they might not be friendly. But by the sounds of them, they were just lost. Walking along a narrowed edge, she leaned against a half fallen wall, her eyes searching until they fell upon the trio in the catherdral. Tilting her head curiously, she wondered what Lothlómendil was doing with the other two. It was quite far still, she did have to strain her eyes somewhat to see so she silently made her way to where they were. |

Hearing every thing that was said as he was only standing a few feet away from the two. Vines stepped closer. Looking at the man and not believing his eyes could it be an angel. No he seemed too human. Looking at the man and woman both Vines says, "hello I'm Vines nice to meet the both of the you." Soon after looking right back at the man wondering if he was man or angel. No longer thinking about it Vines asked the man, "May I ask good sir are you an angel of some kind? I only ask because I'm a student of truth, light and goodness. I also have study many time on angels and these kinds of thing and I must say you look some what of an angel according to the readings this being the first time ever really seeing an angel that is if you are really an angel....are you...an angel that is?" |

Ciara hummed softly as she walked slowly to the others. She had did her best to be silent and out of sight as she did not want to startle any of them. Interesting, I don't remember many meeting out in the ruins. I wonder if they are up to no good. Ciara had felt more than playful as she continued her way toward them, their voices soft, but clearly heard. She laughed on the inside as a wide smile crossed her face and she crept along a wall. Her long hooded cloak left untied swayed back and forth with the breeze. Pulling up the hood, she covered her eyes with the shadow and tipped her head back while leaning against the wall, listening to them as they went on. Something inside her brewed with mischievous pleasure as she sat in the shadows alone. |

"Well their is no way of raelly telling if you are an angel. I guess you out of luck." Vines turning around to see this lady coming up from behind him hearing her say, "he's human" with that said Vines said, "I suppose, the in readings its does say angels have two wings connected to one another on each side and looking at him I see he only has to wing....but still you never know" |

Vexx quickly became weakened as he fell agaisnt the door. The wings on his back disppeared and a metal chains formed around his hands and neck. His clothes turned all black and a broken cross symbol appeared on his shirt. "aw..." |
