Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. "No need to be so agreeable," Kiranni replied with a slight laugh. She fiddled with her daggers anxiously. She felt like she was walking extremely slowly. She let out a deep sigh and scratched her nose impatiently. Stifling a yawn she desperately thought of something to say. The silence had become rather awkward, however her mind seemed a complete blank at present. She frowned at her lack of words. |

Solaris glanced back at Kiranni and noticing her impatience, increased her speed a little. She cast through her mind for something to say when the silence had gotten to long then shrugged. "Congradulations on becoming the Goddess of Darkness." |

Säleth walked quietly through the forest, in a slightly better mood than usual. As she walked she listened to the irritating sounds of the forest. Idiotic birds chattered over and over. They never seemed to cease their squaking did they? Leaves fell off the trees and landed in her hair. "Ughh.." She groaned, pulling them out. Luckily there were no people in here to bother her as well. Oh for God's sake.... She scowled as she heard the sound of someone walking through the forest. Seems there was also an animal nearby. Perhaps the person was hunting.... Säleth looked through the assortment of trees and bushed that obscured her view and saw a human. Beside her was a fox and it seemed to be talking to her. Obviously she wasn't hunting. Säleth raised her eyebrows wondering why a talking fox was wandering about. |

Kiranni excepted the compliment with courtesy, she was rather proud of becoming a goddess. "Thank You," Kiranni replied with little emotion in her voice, but wearing a small smile. She whipped around hearing a noise. She had definately heard something this time. She spotted a female some distance off. Oh god, it's the woman from the ruins, Kiranni thought reminding herself where she had seen Saleth before. She rolled her eyes as she remembered the pointless argument of their last encounter. She stopped walking and wondered if Solaris had noticed Saleth too. Kiranni waited to see if Saleth would venture nearer. |

Säleth paused seeing that the woman and the fox had noticed her too. It was an awkward moment and she wasn't sure if either could be trusted. She gripped the hilt of her cutlass and walked towards them. "Eerr...Hello..." She said quietly to break the silence. She wasn't in a completely horrible mood for once today and she wrinkled her nose, looking at Kiranni. She had met her somewhere before, but she wasn't sure where. She wondered if Kiranni recognised her as well. |
