| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

atop a pillar,As the Pale moon shone down in all it's heavenly glory,Alexander stood, his Violin at the ready. The Strings being struck lightly,a heavenly tune coming forth as the wind blows. His fingers and hand move gracefully and with great skill as a sona come out.The notes carring over the wind,tru-out the ruins. |

Even without light, she could still see a bit. Srwen stayed atop a crumbling structure. She picked her way through building. She bent and her hands brushed away rocks. The music made her back straight. She listened, mesmorized. Srwen heard also and took flight to find the source. Oseria followed. The man was in sight. She stood in the shadows, hoping not to disturb, only to listen. Her eyes closed and she smiled. The music was peaceful. She swayed. Srwen noticed. He cawed. Her eyes opened, shocked, and gave him a scolding look. She looked back to see if the violinist heard. |

smiling He playied on,even as a Cawed echoed from the shadows. He cared not of it,thinking it to only be a raven as it awaited for or somesort of enjoiment. And Yet on the sona contuned, picking up speed as he began to remeber things, things of old and new, things fo past and present. His hair swaied in the wind as he slowed the sona down, stoping moments later. His head lifted as he stared up at the moon, enjoing it's beauiful veiw."You can come out now,i know your there....i can hear the beatingof your heart and each breath you take, not to mention your bird."he didn't turn, nor made any notion to look. |

She sighed, out of her reverie. Then casting a scalding look to Srwen who only appeared innocent, she stepped from behind and looked up to him. "I'm sorry if I am a bother.. I just enjoy the music. Wonderful.." She looked up to him. But only to stare off to one side, thinking about the music. Her eyes unfocused. She was caught in her own thoughts. Srwen flew to around them. He bounced to close structures. Bits of rocks fell. |

Linwee walked into the ruins, even though it was darkout she could see pretty good, her eyes were focused to it. She heard music, she didn't know what was making it, she kept on walking towards it, then she saw someone moving around the ruins. She walked to where she heard the music, but then it stoped and there was talking, she stayed where she was, she didn't want to get caught by things that treaded the night here. She then heard a mans voice and a womans voice. She walked over to where they were, she didn't know who the people were but they didn't sound like they were bandits or anything. She waited untill the people will noitce her. |

Linwee came out from where she was standing, she didn't think these people meant any harm. When she came out from where she was standing she saw a woman but then she couldn't see the man who seemed to be playing. She listend to the music, she gave a smile, only if I had my fiddle, she thought to herself, or my lute. She smiled again for no reason she just liked to smile. She listend to the beat which he was playing, it fast but quiet, she tryed to guess what was the time signature(Sorry if you don't know what that is, but if you play music you should...), she wasn't sure what it was, he seemed to just be playing, not caring what the time signature was. She looked over at the woman who was standing next to a rock, she looked her over, but she couldn't makout the details, it was too dark out, but the moon helped some, not enough though. She nodded her head to the woman, she hoped she could see her. |

Her head turned to the direction of the newcomer, looking. She saw a figure. Mostly shadows. A woman though. Her attention quickly turned to Alexander. She didn't have time to say her name. He was playing. She smiled a bit. Her lips tucked up. A ghost of a smile. She leaned against a structure. It was a bit cold. Her head seemed to nod to the beat. Just barely. She did this absentmindedly. Srwen wasn't a music appreciator. He flitted about, bored. |

Linwee looked up at the man who was playing the violin, she had guessed that what it was. She looked at a bird that seemed to be flying around. She watched the moon shine down onto the player, it was a beautiful night. She grabbed her Lute that was strapped to her back, her left hand was on it as she pulled it up over her head, she put the strap around her shoulder, she plucked the strings a little bit, then she started to play the beat the man was playing, her Lute made a beeper noise then the violin, but it was pleasent. She wasn't sure if her music sounded like his or not, she tryed to listen but from where she was standing she could only here herself playing her lute and a distent sound of the violin. She kept on playing hoping the woman who was listening could tell if she was off beat with the violin or not. She pulled her fingers up and down the poll of her lute, she played cords she knew and some she was learning. Her right hand plucked the strings as her left went up and down. |

A smiled plaied over his face as he heard the lute, his plaing stoped as he leapt down fomr the pillar, his body falling rapidly and increasing in speed. His feet hit the ground gently, effecting him not.he gently bagan to play his viloin again as he walked to teh newcomer, his eyes looking at her beffore back at the moon, his vilion plaing softly to her Lute before his voice sang out."the wind is soft yet very mellow as the tree tops turn a yellow.when you lie to sleep remeber that is to sleep.dream of many things, good and bad and none of fiends.remeber how much you love, for when you have me i shall love.i'll come into your dream and sit, watching over you like a gaurdian..." |

She listed to the newcomer playing the lute. It seemed to be together. She wasn't sure. When he jumped down and his music stopped, her face looked questioningly at him. Srwen took Alexander's spot. He seemed to be doing it for spite. Hmph.. Her attention returned when he played and sang. She listened to the words. It seemed like a love song. She turned to face him and the other one. Her heart felt light at the lyrics as her soul swayed. |

Some how not being notice by the others. Vines decides to show him self "That was very nice", the moon seeming to dace with him and every movement he made. "Romantic in deed!" stepping closer to the three, "you know, I don't see how one could not be happy in a moment, such as, this one." stepping closer to gray-skin lady. "With the moon-light, the clam winds, and romantic music flowing through your body", saying this as he looked the gray-skin women in her eye's. Bring his hand to the air. "No need to worry about your abilities, the moment is too perfect.... too beautiful.” saying this as he swung his opened hand over in the direction of the other women. "So, bless us with that fine sound, which you summon..." as he danced around and about to the music that played though the night. |

||I guess my character's skin is gray.. heh..||She turned to look at the man. Romantic.. She 'sposed it was. The music was calming for the most part. Thoughts ran through but weren't exactly heard. "Romantic.. yes.."She looked into his eyes. to do so, she had to look up. He was taller than her. His eyes seemed true. She was slightly amused. Her expression was thoughtful. She still looked the same as the man danced. It was funny. To her at least. A man dancing around. |

Turning back to the gray skin woman, as he danced around. “You know you should dance its good for your health.” Her eyes only seemed to make Vines draw closer and as he did Vines only drew from her comely presents a more powerful determination. With certainty in his voice, “A true friend...makes a true heart.” Going for her hand, “dance with me...what do you say to entertaining one another in the night-light with a little dance.” |

Good for her health. She smiled a bit. He amused her, made her smile. That was surprising."I 'spose I could dance. I warn I'm not good."It was true. Dancing wasn't really a thing that could come easily from her. Maybe this time it would prove her wrong. She extended her hand and took his. She gave a small smile, ready as her eyes took to his. Srwen made a "hmph" sound at all this nonsense. He flew away in the dark. |
