| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

I hear a deep thud and run towards it some how knowing it was the woman that had helped him so well. I ran hard for a moment and came upon the fight. I continue to run hard and jump grabbing one of the things by the arm. spinning my body around him then rolling throwing the beast with its own weight and slam it into the closest tree. hearing a loud thud then crack turning to the next swinging his staff.” Do you need some help little lady.” I say with a joking tone as she had said to him. glad he could be more use this time but still bleeding and beat from the last time they had fought. hoping his monk martalarts would allow him to do better. knowing how they move this time. I run at the one I swung at and hit it in the knee breaking it in. it drops to a knee and I run up the closest tree as far as I could dropping down on it swinging down as hard as I can. breaking the skull open . in the proses tearing a wound worse and dropping to a knee breathing hard . |

Jez watched as the human overtook a few of them. It seemed he was getting better. She jumped into the fight as well. She jumped on the back of one and sunk her teeth in. She drained him quickly. Throwing him down, she grabbed on to the largest. But he was stronger and quicker. He tossed her easily on to her back, growling menacingly. He slashed at her, she dodged it by rolling onto her stomach. It was a bad idea because then she exposed her back helplessly. Before she could push herself up, the bear-like creature used his sharp talons to pierce her back. He pulled his paw downward and she screamed in agony. With his claw in her back, she felt momentarily helpless. Then she remembered what she was, who she was and in the blink of a normal mortal's eye, she was back on her feet. But her blood was flowing down her back. She pushed away the pain and jumped on the creature's back and twisted his neck until she heard a satisfying crack. She fell down with him. Lying there, she counted the number of beasts that were left. There were only two left. The must have had some intelligence, because once they saw what had been done to their leader, they both cried out in earsplitting anguish. She had to cover her ears and soon they were gone. They ran back into the forest, for fear of their life, no doubt. "Thanks for helping me out there. You did well. I bet those wounds of your are really tasty..I mean hurting." She tried to cover up her own pain with a little joke. She did not cry out in agony and she did not flinch in pain. She reached around to feel the wound, and it was bad. It wasn't healing as quickly as it should have. She had spent too much of the blood she had taken tonight fighting. She wasn't going to heal until she had more. |

"You must be a very perceptive monk. I thought I could hide my wounds from you, but I guess that is pointless. The bear creative got me in the back. It hurts something fierce. I'm not healing as fast because I need blood." She looked longingly at the blood soakedb bandages. She knew if she took blood from him, he'd probably pass out. And she couldn't exactly restore it. They needed to to get to a place for healing...or she needed to bring someone back. "I have an idea. The both of us won't make it into the city, but I can run fast. I can bring back a healer before your wounds become worse. While I am there, I can feed and heal. Then I'll be good as new to bring back the healer. I will toss her over my should if I need to." She gave him a big ole' grin, hopefully too alleviate some of the tension in the air. "It will take me no time if I get started now. But I need to know you are okay with this. Tell me now before I leave on my own accord. If you do not like it, and you have a strong enough response, then I will not go. But I think I should go. What say you?" |

Jezabel gathered her courage and stared on her journey. She went into town and found a listing for a few different healers. She was able to feed on a vagrant. She disliked doing it for she didn't like the taste of an unhealthy human, but she had no choice. She was able to pay for a healer to follow her back into the darkened woods. It took more gold than Jezabel was happy about and she seriously considered the healer's ability. She seemed completely fake, what with all the jewelry she had dangling around her arms and neck. What was worse, was the jewelry was fake. It made her uneasy and she worried for Cael. She couldn't remember a time where she worried more about a human. She wondered at her feelings. It must be because he had fought for her. She refused to think more of it. Being alone in the dark woods had made her vulnerable. That was all. When she reached Cael, she lead the doctor straight to him. "This is Lady Gwen. She's going to heal you right up." Her wounds had healed once she had taken blood so she was fine. The healer set about her work. And for the first time in a very long time, Jezabel prayed. |

when she left i sat back down by the tree. trying to keep awake knowing those things could be still around. but all of that was in the back of my mind in comparison to this vampire that has helped me so. i was told such awefull things about them. never the beauty the feelings they can bring on with just a look. theses thoughts keep me going. knowing that she would come back. some how that she didn't just run off to leave me. i think it was the look in her eyes that told me she was true to her words. just then i hear walking in the woods. i stand in wait. not knowing weather it was her or something else coming to kill him.... but it was her and a healer."lady gwen thank you for coming out to see me im not doing so well as things stand." i look up to the beautiful vampire that has saved my life. i look into her eyes and smile and say one thing before everything goes black ." thank you" |

Jezabel lead the healer back through the woods once Cael had fallen asleep, she came back shortly and saw he was still in slumber. She gathered some pine needles and moss to make a more comfortable bed. She easily lifted him and placed him onto of the make shift bed. She knew he would probably be out for awhile, and she needed rest herself. So she climbed in beside him and laid near but not too close as to be touching. She didn't want him to wake before her and think she had snuggled up to him. She was too tired to give anything much thought but she wondered at the feelings for this creature. As her world began to fade, the world still dark around them, she watched the flames of the fire until she could no longer keep her eyelids open. As she dropped into sleep, the last thing she heard was the slow, steady breathing of the companion next to her. |
