[GRP] I Saw Two Rogues Go Stealthing In; {P, Blue Rogue}

It had been a full year since Buddy had his meeting with the real Red Rogue and adopted the seasonal identity of the Brown Rogue... Mainly because he found Red to be annoying and that he didn't want another run-in, which of course meant that Buddy would only steal from those who didn't exactly do too well earlier on in the year. Now, one might ask of just how Buddy might manage such a feat as to select these ne'er-do-wells from a crowd of houses... The answer, however, was quite simple! The Red Rogue had delivered a list to the tavern Buddy was sleeping at with a number of houses with a very clear message of, "I know you can handle it."

With a shrug and a drink of water, Buddy was out the door and into the night to search for the first of houses on his list, a list which did not just include name and location, but the speciic item that was to be stolen, as well. A boy, a bratty bully, was never going to know what hit him when he awoke to find, not a gift from the Red Rogue waiting for him, but instead his favorite wooden sword and shield nowhere in sight. To get within the house was easy, as Buddy worked his tools to pick the lock of the front door, quiet as a mouse, only without the size to sneak in through a hole. A bittersweet thing, since he didn't want to be eaten by his faithful feline friend. That would just, to put simply, make the holiday season a wretched one for him... And quite possibly his last. No... Zangetsu would be smart enough to recognize a blonde rat... At least, that's what Buddy hoped for if the situation ever came to be true.

All it would take would be one enchanted lock... Buddy paused at the sound of the click as the lock freed itself from the frame, his own thought giving him a slight paranoia as he waited for the accursed change... None, luckily, came to afflict him. The lock was normal, and it only took a moment for him to realize this as he quietly snuck in, silently shutting the door behind him as he made his way over the wooden floor, which to his amazement did not creak in even the slightest. A well-built house, no doubt. Probably new... However, the Brown Rogue did not wish to meet the Red Rogue yet again and have something of his stolen that he charished... Like his bad. After all, the Red Rogue wouldn't be able to steal Zangetsu, even if he tried! It was a lucky thing, in Buddy's opinion. He could always find another magical bag, he couldn't find another survivor of Arda, let alone one that was as close a friend as Zan.

The thief thought the possibilities over in his head as he looked over the inner workings of the home he was to steal from, their house was rather well decorated, the children were asleep under the tree... Apparently the bully boy had a sister, and to not be on the Brown Rogue's list meant that she was, at the very least, not bad.

"Your lucky night when the Red Rogue gives you a new dolly." Buddy whispered as he snuck his way through the house, hunting down the wooden sword and shield to toss into his bag.

Vyse had been asked to help the men of GRINCH... and he had outright refused and even swore to them if he saw them in the street he would cut them down, he had decent pull with the guard so if he only killed one or two he could probably get it swept under the rug or get away with a fine. Later on he had gotten a letter from the Red Rogue, saying he knew what he had done with the men of GRINCH and was asking Vyse to help protect someone helping him out, since Vyse lacked stealth he had been asked to go to a certain house and wait outside of it, he had the letter in hand to verify that he was sent by the Red Rogue.

Vyse looked around for the right house, trying several nobs, all of them were locked, he was almost halfway through the row of houses when he twisted the nob and found it unlocked, someone had picked it, it was either the Red Rogue or his so called helper. Vyse looked down at the blue suit he wore, in the spirit of things he had it made after the Red Rogue's suit, Qadaj called it a waste of money, but Vyse didn't care, it was his money to spend as he wished and thanks to the frostbite salve they had been selling they had made quite a bit of money, enough so that Vyse had already sent gifts to all one hundred of his employees. He smiled as he waited by the door, the note in his hand, he would find out who was helping the Red Rogue and then help him, whether it's stealing or taking care of GRINCH members with his blades, he only carried two blades this day, Lita his Lan De Yue Jia, and Blitz his cutlass. He palmed Lita's pommel, he just have to wait.

It wouldn't take but a moment for Buddy to sneak through the house and find what he was looking for, the precious belongings of the bartty bully boy. It was a bit of a shame, though. In truth, the thief had hoped for it to be the father or the mother who were the bad ones so that he might steal some of the nicer things from them... However, he remembered the fact that the Red Rogue, who was quite possibly some sort of super-pychic or clarivoyant would surely know that he had stolen those things and then would proceed to steal from Buddy his most prized thieving tool, his magical cold bag of Neverending Space. Such a useful thing for storing so many nick-nacks and paddy-wacks, though Zangetsu would never permit a dog's bone into the bag. Still, it as ueful, and the boy's prized posession, though he had probably stolen it from a differant boy, who might be getting a new gift from the Red Rogue. For that boy's sake, it might be a book with some lessons on self-defense and deafeating a bully with his bare-hands... No, it was more likely to be something less practical... Like a spinning top. Fun though they may be, surely another thing to be stolen by this bully. What a shame.

With a slight sigh, Buddy made his way back through the room whee the children slept beneath their tree, nice Sugarplum fairies peeking out at the thief and giving him a silent wave which he returned with a bit of glee. The small glowing creatures probably took a great satisfaction in the safety of the home, the tree free from any troubles bigger than a bug. It turn to give the family sweet dreams with their powder. It was a reminder to Buddy that not all things were merely wicked, and brought a smile to his face as he would silently walk out the front door through which he came, eyeing the man on the other side for just a moment, his mind working very quickly as he looked at the blue coat the man wore, not too unlike the one that the Red Rogue wore when Buddy met him just last year.

Without much thought after that, Buddy pulled his lockpicking tools from his pocket, quietly shutting the door behind him and crouching down as he worked the lock to put it back the way it was when he found it.

"Let me take a guess... You're the Blue Rogue?" Buddy would ask simply, the sound of metal lightly clicking together as he worked the lock with relative ease.
"Even more... Red sent you? Well, then. I suppose you can call me the Brown Rogue, and as much as I enjoy taking things from the people that wind up on the list that Red leaves for me... as of starting last year, I can't truly imagine why he would send you... Are you here to deliver toys to the good children? I can't really imagine much else of a reason for you to be here." With a huff, Holly would finish his lock-picking, sliding the tools from the lock and giving the door a slight tug to make sure it was locked once more... Which it was. Though it gave him pause for a moment, of which he did not turn back to the Blue Rogue.
"Are you supposed to deliver a gift to this house? Because I can pick the lock again, if you want."

Vyse saw the brown rogue exit the house, locking it behind him, he nodded in response to being called the blue rogue, Vyse smirked at the thought of giving presents, "No, I am here to make sure the men of GRINCH don't try and kill you, don't worry, you have the Blue Rogue here to make sure you're safe." Vyse looked around the area and saw a few moving shadows, they were always at the corner of his eye so he could never get a good look at them, but he had little doubt about who it was, the GRINCH members that were sent to capture or kill them. He whispered to the Brown Rogue, "Brown, we should start running to the next target, if we can I'd rather lose the GRINCH members tailing us then fight them, if I killed them it would cause a scene."

He waited for Brown to start towards the next house, Vyse could see whatever was following them, at least he could see their bodies, their faces had masks and they could run pretty fast, but Vyse had no doubts that he could keep on running all night. He looked to Brown and smirked, "If there are any shortcuts that have a tall wall or if it's on the other side of a house, I can get us up and over quick enough." He let Buddy choose their route, he knew Cascadia like the back of his hand, but without the list of addresses he had no idea where they were heading.

Buddy turned to look to the Blue Rogue, putting his lockpicking tools back into his Thieves' Kit and sliding it into a pocket that was on his leather pants, a look that showed true disbelief at the idea that they might actually need to run. the Brown Rogue then moved his blue eyes upwards and to the dim street, the shadows which were, he might feel free to add if he felt the need to speak up about the matter at the particular time of which he was looking at them, quite poorly hidden. More like thugs than assassins, and for their sake not rogues. If they were rogues, and so poorly capable of something so simple as hiding in the dark and not looking suspicious, then they really wouldn't get anywhere any time soon, unless they were trying to get themselves imprisoned and to this thought, Holly gave just a slight shrug of his shoulders and turned from both the Blue Rogue, the door, the rogues and simply went on walking to the next house on the list that he had just pulled from his magically enchanted bag and just how far it may be from the house they were currently at.

"Why run?" He would finally ask after his sixth step, continuing on to his seventh as he put the list back to where it went, far too lazy to give any sort of effort into actually memorizing the list or where he was supposed to go, "It isn't like they're a gang of angry pirates that I stole from, or anything. They're just a group of mercenaries who like to steal the shiny things that the Red Rogue leaves behind." He huffed, seeing another shadow out of the corner of his eye, the figure ducking in between two houses, a small alleyway that probably didn't really lead much of anywhere.

Despite the need for urgency, Buddy wasn't going to worry himself over some people that called themselves the Good Reclamation Initiative for Chaotic Hooligans, it just sounded rather pathetic, to be honest... Though it did get Buddy to thinking, and for this, he stopped for just a moment.

"Red's Odd Group of Useful and Efficient Subsidiaries... AKA, R.O.G.U.E.S., because if the damn bad guys get an acronym, so should we!" He proclaimed aloud and then seeing an incoming charging shadowed figure which quickly revealed itself to be some mercenary dressed in green, he quickly proceeded to raise crouch down, drawing the dagger that he kept hidden in his boot and quickly uttered the incantation for it to be caught with electricity before he drove it into the thigh of his attacker, leaving him to spasm on the cold ground before falling unconcious with a slight groan.

"What was your original plan, running? I think that's a good idea, now!" The Brown Rogue would say to his new blue acquaintence before he began to take off, dagger in hand as he set off for the next house to hide in.

Vyse frowned at the Brown Rogue as he seemed to take things far to lightly, though the thought of having an acronym for their group brought a smile to his face, Vyse chuckled, "I can agree to that, so far we've got Red, Brown, and Blue Rogues." His smirk faded when one of the men following them attacked, Brown defended himself well enough and then agreed to running. Vyse could hear the footsteps of more people, he turned to see at least ten people trying to follow them.

Vyse recognized the area and knew of a wall that would come up nearby, it cut the road from the richer district, now it was time to show what he could bring to the table. He would Brown's arm and stomp hard with his right foot, using his draconic might to force a huge bounding leap, up and over the wall, Vyse chuckled as he thought of the house on the other side, it was not as tall as the wall and the landing would cause them to stumble a bit, he didn't think it would cause them to fall off. He looked to Brown, "Got any kids in the White Cloud District?"

Buddy's original plan was just to keep running down alleys and streets to lose the members of G.R.I.N.C.H. that were chasing after the two R.O.G.U.E.S., it seemed like a plasubile plan and besides, if anything got too close for comfort, he could do little more than send them spasming into an electrically induced coma, provided that they didn't have any heart complications, of course. These people didn't seem like the kind to have problems with their hearts though, fast, not fat, pretty healthy... unfortunately. Not that the Brown Rogue wanted to kill anybody, but it would have made it a lot easier to run from them.

And then something happened to change his plan, he was grabbed by the arm and let out a shout before he found himself flying through the air, the green-clad mercenaries gathering in a circle where the two R.O.G.U.E.S. had been, looking up in the air, and the lack of a Blue Rogue in that scene let the pieces start falling together for Buddy before they even landed on the roof. He stumbled a bit as they landed, but would take his arm back from his Blue companion, huffing a bit as he looked to the wall and then to the single-story house's roof, huffing a bit at the Blue Rogue.

"No, never married. Though I did have a girlfriend once." He said in a deadpan tone, a joke, though he knew full-well what his partner meant. The Brown Rogue lifted his scroll from his bag, the scroll given to him by the Red Rogue, of course, and began to look it over, quickly saying something before he looked the list over, "There's a Black Rogue, too. Poor bastard's a Sun Elf Vampire, no joke about that." A light smile came to his face at that memory, it was like the man was a living joke, and that would never change for the poor soul.

It only took a moment of scanning and a rub of his now-sore arm from being man-handled for him to find a child which, indeed, was on the list and located in the White Cloud District.

"Yup, and now we just need to get off of here, and I do not want to travel by Blue Rogue,my arm hurts." Buddy groaned a bit, looking the list over again, this time comitting the names and addresses to memory before stowing the scroll back into his bag, "I guess there's never going to be a Green Rogue, thanks to G.R.I.N.C.H.... Unless their boss also wears green, in which case I guess that he'd be the Green Rogue... Green Rogue, leader of G.R.I.N.C.H., sounds appropriate, don't you think?" Holly would chuckle, rolling his right shoulder and patting his arm once more to try and ignore it. Being grabbed by the arm like that was not exactly a comfortable thing, and he considered himself lucky that it wasn't dislocated. Though, it wouldn't be the first time, so he just shrugged to it and walked his way to the edge of the roof, quickly lowering himself to the street below. Not too much of a fall to have to worry about, after all.

Vyse chuckled at his ally, a sun elf vampire... he knew who he spoke of, he had met Allaer twice before. He gave a little chuckle as his ally went on, it was good to have an ally with such a light heart, it would help keep them happy and it would help Vyse relax while they had time. When they reached the ground Vyse stretched as he spoke, "I met the so called Black Rogue, he helped me once before and introduced me to one of my now good friends." He made his way around the house, it would be nearly ten minutes before they got around to the street that would allow them to get into the White Cloud District.

He looked back to his friend, "Come on, lets get moving, the men following us will be here in about ten minutes so we've got to get to as many houses as possible in the district before trying to lose them again." Vyse grimaced as he looked into the streets to see a patrol of four green suited men with longswords, they spoke in hushed tones, but they had not noticed the two yet. Vyse looked down at his hips, he had only brought two of his blades, then again that was all he needed, he drew his cutlass and longsword and waited for them to get closer, he hid behind the corner of the house's outer wall, once they had started to pass it Vyse leaped upon them, the flats of his blades, the first two fell as the flats connected with the backs of their heads, while the other two turned only to see the flashing blades connect with their chins and then another swat of them to the tops of their heads, dropping the men where they stood. Vyse turned back to Buddy, "Come on, lets get moving, next time we might not have the element of surprise." He waited for Buddy to lead on.

Buddy followed after the Blue Rogue with a shrug, otherwise staying silent as he went over some things in his mind. The night seemed to actually be pretty quiet, despite the G.R.I.N.C.H. goons wandering about, looking to capture the newly named R.O.G.U.E.S. or perhaps just kill them. Apparently they weren't good enough to be anything other than really pathetic mercenaries, and really sad assassins. Couldn't even kill two men that were going to be breaking into homes, one to steal things, the other to make sure that the first didn't get hurt. When they finally got close to the street, the Blue Rogue spoke, and Buddy merely shrugged. As luck had it, he was often being chased after, and even as he thought this, he could see a small patrol of G.R.I.N.C.H. wandering the streets. Though one of the mercenaries looked up and clearly saw the two people, Buddy gave it no mind, continuing forward, since there was no real way that these particular mercenaries had any clue what any other rogues might look like, or even really care. Some mercenaries just took a job for pay and ignored the work all-together. Yet the Blue Rogue insisted on taking cover and attacking the patrol from the shadows. Though the Brown Rogue was rather intrigued at how skillfully the Blue Rogue dispatched the group without killing them, he couldn't help but voice just one of his concerns on the matter.

"Y'know... We probably could have just walked right by them without them having any clue who we were, right?" He shrugged at his own words, continuing down the street and pass the unconcious bodies, counting the houses until he found the one he was to break into next, muttering just a bit to himself, "I hope this name is an adult, kids don't have expensive things."

It would take him little more than a minute to pick the lock with his tools, and within an instant he would open the door, being halfway in and cringing at the creak of the wood, though it didn't seem to wake anybody inside. A sigh of relief later, Holly would turn to his companion, asking clearly and quietly, "Coming in or staying out?" Though of course the thief would not await an answer continuing in at a quiet and slow pace, eyeing the tree that noted children in the house. The Red Rogue's message for what to steal from this particular house was limited to, "You'll know it when you see it." A very minimal amount of information, yet it left Buddy with high hopes as he pocketed his hands and stood tall, using the fire left on in the fireplace to look around for anything particular expensive-looking on the first floor, being sure to take note of the young boy asleep beneath the tree, a light smile on his face, another light wave as he saw the sugarplum fairies within the tree, though these weren't as friendly as the last ones and did not return the wave. It left the Brown Rogue to shrug, and at least be thankful that the floors in this home didn't creak.

Vyse shook his head as the Brown Rogue picked the lock, he followed him inside and slowly closed the door, he spoke in a whisper, "They know my face and my clothes, not to mention my real name, while they might not have any proof if they see my face they would know it's me." He looked around to see what was in the area, the rich district had many fine things, he saw portraits, jeweled weapons, and all manner of riches, though what kept his eye was a single item, it was a golden armband with row upon rows of jewels and odd markings, it was in a glass square case, padlocks on each corner, Vyse pointed at it, "I think we should take that."

He knew the armband was probably worth a small fortune, but the runes made him a bit apprehensive, it could be magical and they would have no idea what the enchantment or spell was on it. Vyse looked it over and nodded as he whispered, "This has got to be it... from my times helping out merchants I can recognize a good cut of a gem, we're talking... ten... maybe a hundred thousand gold pieces of it's enchanted and if it's enchantment is useful, not to mention we don't know the history." He would have gone on but he heard something creak open up the stairs, he looked to the Brown rogue and motioned for him to hurry, they needed to get out of there and fast.

Buddy looked over to the Blue Rogue when he spoke, blue eyes quickly shifting over to the padlocked case with the armband inside, covered in its runes and odd markings... Strangely familiar markings which quickly made Buddy's eyes widen as he rushed over to the case, placing his hands on it and peering deeply at the jewel.

Could it just be a coincidence? He hoped so, because if this armband was what he thought it was... It was a lot more than Blue knew it for. Of course, even for being as bad of a liar Buddy was, even he could put off his shock as being little more than an awe of just how much money he was going to get for this item, when in reality there was no way in any world he would dare to sell this object that lied before him in damn enhanted glass. How did he know it was enchanted? Because there were four padlocks on the case, and there was no way that anybody would dare leave normal, simple, plain and boring class to protect something like this!

As Buddy were about to speak and weave his lie, his mouth quickly shut to the sound of creaking upstairs, perhaps just a pet wandering around. Buddy couldn't be sure, but he knew that time could not be wasted as he took out his lockpicking tools, another creak resounding, a slow pace it sounded like... Crap, it was probably somebody trying to be stealthy and failing, perhaps it was little more than a kid who had snuck awake and upstairs for whatever reason... Maybe it were those damn G.R.I.N.C.H. coming to make the night hell... Whatever it was, it would not stop the Brown Rogue from claiming his prize. Quickly he slipped the lockpicking tools into his hands, taknig a knee quietly next to the display as he began working the lock, being careful not to force it or go too fast in fear that he might break a tool off in the lock.

He got the first two locks undone before the creaking made its way to the stairs, and despite how much he tried, Buddy could not think of any reason that anybody in Cascadia would have a tortoise which would go upstairs, no matter how rich they may be. Alternatively, maybe it was little more than a child thinking they were being clever, but whatever the source of the noise, it made Buddy worry. He could not fail this steal, because of all things, this was to be his present for helping the Red Rogue steal things from appropriate people on this night. There were many names on that list, and perhaps it was believed that Buddy would not come to this house until later, but now it did no matter... He was a rogue determined, and even if he needed to take the whole damn solid wood display out the door, he would get this armband, or else his name wasn't Buddy Holly!

Vyse watched buddy picking the locks, but the creaking footsteps were still coming, several ideas went through his head, he could cause the person to trip or they could hide in a closet... and the final idea he had was simply running out and leaving it there to come back later. He shook his head, all of those were out of the question, they needed to get out fast, he sheathed his blades and then reached out and grabbed the final two padlocks, he jerked on them quickly, snapping the metal with a metallic ring, time was of the essence and he didn't want to wait for whatever was walking up there to find them immediately, though the metal breaking apart must have alerted whoever was upstairs since the footsteps quickened.

Vyse tossed the case off to the side, bouncing off the floor, Vyse rolled his eyes, magic, of course. He grabbed the armband and tossed it to Brown, making for the door immediately, it was time to leave this place and get going to the next house. He rushed out and looked around, the G.R.I.N.C.H. members were starting to stir, and a wicked thought sprang into his mind, frame the G.R.I.N.C.H. he turned to Brown, only a few words were needed, "Circle around the house to where we leaped, let whoever is rushing out see the G.R.I.N.C.H. members instead of us R.O.G.U.E.S." Vyse already made for the side of the house, he would do as he did last time for them... except this time he would tell Brown to simply wrap his arms around you so he wouldn't get hurt from the strength of his draconic leaping.

Time was running out, Buddy was beginning to become paniced, only two padlocks undone and somebody at the top of the staicase. He couldn't allow this armband to escape his currently gloved-in-brown-leathered fingers. His heart beat within his chest as he worked at the third lock... and then of course th unexpected happened. His blue eyes went wide as the Blue Rogue ripped the remaining two padlocks off of the case, leaving the Brown Rogue sitting there for just a moment, crouched and in a bit of minor shock at what had just happened, which was furthered when his companion so bluntly threw the case off to the side... Like that wasn't going to alert any nearby G.R.I.N.C.H.... Or worse yet, awake the sleeping children beneath the tree!

Buddy quickly popped up to his feet, his mouth wide open but quickly shut as he caught the armband that the Blue Rogue had tossed him, but things were still falling apart at the seams in this house. Somebody coming down the stairs at a quickened pace, a child uttering the words as he awoke, questioning, "Red Rogue?" Buddy wasn't going to dare stay another moment, sprinting for the door, he couldn't even lock the door behind him as he might normally prefer. The Blue Rogue was way too messy, why in any Hell the Red Rogue would think that the Brown Rogue and the Blue Rogue would be a good pairing, he had no clue. Buddy might not be the stealthiest... or the best of liars... Okay, when it came to lying he fell incredibly short, but he still managed to get in and out of houses without waking anybody except the Sugarplum Fairies that nested in the trees that people brought to their homes.

Buddy listened to the Blue Rogue's plan, and to be honest... it seemed like a pretty good one. Buddy shouted at the top of his lungs, "We members of G.R.I.N.C.H. now have this magical armband within our posession! Rejoice for we will now rule the worl! Oh crap it doesn't work!" And with that Buddy would be sprinting off and after his companion, the Blue Rogue, feeling that his loud shout would surely awaken any nearby families and give them the idea that it were, in fact, the Green-Clad mercenaries that had been responsible for breaking into the home and stealing the armband.

Buddy would leap onto the back of the Blue Rogue's as instructed, quickly finding it to be a much more preferrable means of super-jumping and when they were to land wherever it was that the Blue Rogue was jumping them to, Buddy would be sure to say as much, after all, his arm wouldn't hurt like it did from the last jump.

AFter the jump, Buddy would take another moment to look the armband over, studying not its gems but instead the markings that it held. The gems were show pieces but the runes would never leave his memory.

"I never thought that I would see this, again..."

Vyse chuckled as Buddy called out, it would throw suspicion off of them and blame the G.R.I.N.C.H. members, he urged Buddy onto his back and leaped onto the house, running and leaping from house to house, preferring the long jump to the high jump this time, though he knew if people searched the roofs they would see the cracks where he pushed off with his feet. After a few minutes of leaping he stopped, dropping to the ground and let Brown get down, Vyse nodded to him, "Was it something you lost a long time ago or possibly an item you've searched for and lost years ago?" He didn't wait for an answer as he looked around, "We've got to keep on moving, we're only two blocks away so we need to keep on moving, how many houses are left?"

Vyse could feel his limbs still, but a cold wind and being up so high in the sky on top of roof hopping, his body could keep on going, but breathing in the cold air constantly was effecting his lungs. He turned to Brown, "I hope it's not many more... all of this sudden exertion is slightly effecting me... not to mention the cold air is making it hard for me to breath... lets try to not have to leap around until I've got my breath." He started taking deeper breaths, even with his great power using it so rapidly was draining, he turned to Brown and nodded, motioning him to lead the way.

Buddy wouldn't respond for a moment, slowly looking the armband over in his hands, his fingers running across its form as his mind ran back through the years, back to a world that no longer exist a world which Buddy saw fall literally to pieces first hand, slipping away into the nether. His mind flashed back to Arda, to his once-home in a small fishing village where he grew up, always looking uot to the sea, hearing stories from sailors and reading tales from books. It was the place where he learned to be quick, catching fish bare-handed since he never could figure the patience to catch things with a fishing hook. It was his home, where he was raised by his mother and father, a single child. And one of the many stories that he heard before going to sleep, a tale about a unique and magical artifact that the world had not seen of for centuries. In his days on Arda, Buddy had always dreamed about finding the item, about claiming it as his own and now? Now he held it within his very own gloved hands while standing upon the rooftop of a floating magical city in the night of winter. It was as if he were dreaming, yet not even his own imagination could have brought him to this situation, this chain reaction. He was almost hypnotized by it, and it would take him another moment to realize that his companion had even said something, peeling his gaze away from the armband before he would slip it into his bag, pulling upon the strings of his subconcious to try and remember just what it was that his companion had said, and then he smiled to himself, nodding just a bit.

"You could say that... I've been looking for this my entire life." He paused another moment, looking back to the direction from which they had just come, "And if that owner had a clue just what this was capable of, he would not have left four mere padlocks upon its case..." He would shake his head free of the thought, though still smiling and would begin his way to the edge of the roof, quickly lowering himself down. He couldn't let this reward slip through his fingers, he would keep his deal with the Red Rogue and complete stealing from the list of assigned houses.

Upon reaching the cold cobblestone street, Buddy would turn towards his companion and asking a very clear and obvious question. "What street do you think this is?" He hadn't been paying to the pattern of jumping, h couldn't map out just by seeing the houses lined up in a row where they were, but it didn't matter to him. He set down the otherwise empty street, hands pocketed as he looked for a sign of where they were, otherwise staying rather quiet, his blue eyes shifting from house to house, door to door, counting their numbers with the intersection in mind. It was often done with these larger cities to have street signs so that people would not get lost, there had to be a sign-post somewhere around here.
