| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Zenjirou whooped and called out in glee as his blade sheared clean through her eyes, he could feel a weight leaving his shoulders, his debt to her had been repaid. He laughed as he sheathed his katana, using his superior speed to dash past her, slamming a fist towards her face, it did not matter whether it hit or not, he had proven he was better, that was all he cared about. He stopped a ways off and crowed in victory, "Diana Sin, with this victory I sever our fate from each other, I no longer wish to kill you, enslave you or otherwise, if you ever recover though just remember, I will always be faster, I will always have the advantage, now I bid you ado!" He laughed manically as he ran off, his job was done, he no longer wanted anything to do with the woman, the score was two wins, one loss, and one tie, he would take his victory and run with it, be it cowardly or smart he didn't care, he was moving on and he would leave Diana Sin behind him. |

If there was one thing holding back the pain it was the wave of hatred and loathing that overtook her as Zenjirou spoke, and once more he ran away from her. "Damn you, Zenjirou!" she cried out. "I'll kill you next time we meet! I'll destroy everything you are, you miserable wretch!" It didn't matter if he was gone already, all she saw was blackness. "I don't think he can hear you," came a dark, feminine whisper. Diana tensed up, recognising the voice as the Dark Spirit she had summoned into her body once before. "I didn't call you, Kilya," the Vampire whispered. "And I am not in the best shape to let you take over." "I've decided to give you a gift, my Diana," said the spectral voice, and Diana could vaguely imagine a feminine shape looking down on the little mortal that needed her help. She did not like that image, or the feeling of being looked down upon. "You take to gifts so negatively. This ones free, my dear. I would like to have dealings with you again soon, and I can't have you missing something as needed as your own eyes. Of course, the ones I give are better." Before Diana knew it she was screaming in pain again, and felt as though her eyes were burning, even though she knew they weren't holding shape anymore. And then, quite suddenly, she could see, though her eyes still burned. She stared at the ground and found the grass seeming to die beneath her gaze. "Might take some getting used to," mused the spirit. "Call me soon, my little vampire. Maybe next time I won't have to fix you." Though the fight ended in a loss, she came out of it for the better. Perhaps she should call on the Spirit's aid more often, even if she did not like the lack of control. |
