| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

Vash walked down a small path. He knew the path hasn’t been used in years but he would walk along its beaten scars that were in the ground. He could tell large heavy wagons were wheeled through the path down the hill and into the Valley. Vash was told in an inn not far away that there was a town down in the Valley. Then Vash looked into the clearing and saw a terrible site. Vash saw as far as he could in the 300 yard clearing bodies fit in full clad of armor and weapons. He could only see bones occupying the suites but he could see each side had a different style. He was almost appalled at the site and then he saw standing in the middle of the clearing a man. He was standing with a staff and a long dark robe. The man sat on the ground and began to chant loudly. Vash couldn’t hear what the words was but the shouting was easily heard. He could tell it was necromancy but he was unclear of what it would do. Then he saw a close set of armor and bones stood. All of a sudden Vash realized it was a massive revival. He wanted to stop the wizard but he needed help. He looked over and blinked into the forest. He began to look for the path he had walked to see if he could find any travelers. Then he heard a loud commotion from the valley and he rushed back. The spell was completed with all the undead standing with weapons in hand and Vash began to watch the necromancer. He was still chanting to keep the spell going so if he went so did the undead. He began to ponder how he was going to accomplish this task. Edited by RedMenace, Wed Sep 21, 2011 8:17 pm.

The day had been long and boring, trying to set up the days activities was not exactly what the demon called fun. After all he was a killer, a mass murder who loved to slaughter men where they stood. But all of that would have to wait till later, for now he had to help with the perperation. He had meet a strange man a few days ago, who was extremly skilled in the art of necromancy and summoning. They had spent a couple of hours chatting and had agreed on a fun thing to do for the day. Chaos knew of two armies who were to go to war, and the mage had the right amount of skill to resummon them from the dead. So the goal was to watch as they kill each other, then revive the bodies for their own. However as they made it to the valley in the misty hills, Chaos grew very antsy, not wanting to wait and watch. He wanted to just go crazy and kill both sides, right then and there, that would make things easier and faster, plus supply fun for the demon. So with out hesitation he started full force down the hill, blade drawn and ready to kill. Thenecromancer watched in amazement as the demon killed three hundred plus soldiers in an hour. The mage started the chant, sitting int he center of the valy reviving the dead men. It had been a couple of hours since the massacare, and chaos needed sleep. He headed deep into a forested area, a couple of feet from the dead army. Chaos snoozed like a baby, passed out in the shrubs as his partner raised the army of the dead for their use! |
