Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own.

In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins.

There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free.

He nodded, taking a short drink from the flask before handing it back, "Well it was nothin', I just fire tha' bow and tha' arrows just grow from tha' new holes that appear out of thin air. It was a pleasure meetin' ya Logan, maybe we can meet again when there are less orc corpses and more ale, now I should be goin', I don't want my name made known ta' the masses, also, I need to start walkin' I have a date back in Kellen with a blond witch. One last thing, stay strong Logan, the next time we meet I might have ta' test yer strength out in a sparrin' match." He waved as he started towards the treeline, once he was there he would disappear without a trace, like he was never there to begin with.

He moved quickly and kept his wits about him, being followed would be bad, being rushed by a mob of men would be worse, he needed love, not fame and glory, Logan could have that, he deserved it. Tand chuckled, he wouldn't need fame and glory once he finds a new wife, someone who understands him, someone he can live with... hopefully forever.

Taking back the Oasis, Logan smiled and nodded to Tand. He appeared to be a good, if humble, man. Logan took a smirk at the man's future challenge.

"Well, then we'll just have to see how that turns out, then, won't we," the ranger said, "Still, I man like yourself could be useful in an order like the Pathwalkers someday, Tand. Perhaps when we meet again, we'll be able to figure out someway to reform my old order, eh? This country, well... it needs heroes. Or some sort of people who will stand up for the wronged when the little guy needs it. Taras' collapse has shown much of that."

As the two parted ways, Logan took a drink from his Oasis and then swept his eyes toward the horizon. Adjusting his sword belt and the bow on his back, Logan set off down the boardwalk toward his next destination, always the adventurer.
