Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own.

In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins.

There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free.

Indigestion? That somethign for feeble mortals, all who lacked an iron stomach of his caliber. The mere thought almost made him laugh, but her flesh distracted his attention well enough to prevent that. She could hope for cats and cows to rain from the sky, but even with the great powers of maigc that was not a very likely event, and no doubt impossible. When she seemed to decided to try and talk of more serious matters Vernon found her choice of words odd. He couldn't say he was a great deal surprised if that was the reason why she had come. If that were the case why was she deliberately trying to get his nerves. Maybe she was just so brain addled she couldn't come up with anything more than a half-baked plan.

"At least you're blunt. Before we get into discussion of what use I am to you, Tell me what use are you to me. You are delicous, but your flesh can only go so far. I would appreciate it indeed if this were a simple matter where I could simply strip all your flesh as reward," Vernon replied as he attempted to pull the rest of the arm out of the gauntlet. He partially succeded, but also desired the bits of flesh that seemed to stick to the gauntlet. He figured it would be easy enough to clean up once he was done with the with the rest of the arm and the two fingers that had managed to stay attached. He didn't know what the zombie wanted, but he was going to make sure that he got the upper hand in the deal. Hopefully reminding her how well she tasted would inspire her to conjure a very good deal in his favor.
