Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Tulip had been very upset, because of Chris these last few days. He just wasn’t his normal self. He seemed so sad about recent events and she just didn’t know what to do. She tried to smile for him at times, but it still hurt to see him suffering. Master Kaess was worried too, but he didn’t seem to know what to do either and what he did do didn’t seem to be helping. Today was even worse with Chris running off without even saying where he was going. She wasn’t very good at tracking people and had to trust Kaess would find him. She hopped he was safe and not doing something stupid or reckless that would get him hurt. At the same time she really wanted to yell at the two people that had caused all this. Even if it didn’t help it might relieve a bit of the frustration and confusion. It was nearing evening, when she finally caught a bit of Chris’s scent. It seemed he was back, but she decided to do something random. He really needed to be taught a lesson for running off and worrying her like that. Thus she was soon hiding behind the edge of the door way to the sleeping quarters. She planned to pounce Chris as soon as he stepped inside. She knew she might not knock him to the floor, but the surprise would be enough. Plus then she would get a bit of revenge and hug him as a welcome back too. Her tail twitched a bit as she smelled that he was getting close and got ready to pounce. After her attempt to pounce him she would say, “Jeez don’t go wandering off like that again. You made me so worried. I ….. just ....” She looked about ready to cry. She was happy that he was alright, but frustrated that he still had so much pain. Edited by Tulip, Thu May 26, 2011 4:54 am.

It would seem her move was a success and she was able to wrap her arms around Chris, but he did not comment that he actually noticed her before she jumped out. Tulip was all good with her new powers and that, but she was not as used to using them as Chris. He had been having these enhanced senses since the day he was born. His ears twitched a few times as he listened to her words, yeah he could figure she was worried...seeing as how he just left without a word, but neither was he the kind of person to like being tied down. Also it seemed that he was taller, mainly because Tulip was shorter then what he was....was she always this small? "..." He looked at her face, then he sighed. "I was training, nothing wrong with that. I mean what could have happened, nothing to worry about. I just needed to blow some steam out of my system and training is perfect for that." Chris gave her a friendly smile, just to prove his point. He did not want to make her more upset. |

Tulip still looked a bit upset about him disappearing this morning, but his attempt made her feel a bit better. His smile was one of the nicer parts about this Chris, even if he did worry her. Still a part of her knew he was still hurting and she hurt because he was in pain. Still his words seemed to have averted any tears for the moment. Still despite that she hugged him just a bit tighter to make sure he was still there. The feel of his tall strong body seemed to relax her a bit, but she still had to say something. “Well I suppose if it was just training it might be alright, but at least take me with you next time or tell me where you are going. Not knowing where you went really worried me. You have been in so much pain lately and …. And it almost feels like enough pain where you …. You might disappear like those two who hurt you did. I know it doesn’t make sense, but…… um….. well oh I don’t know. All I know is I want to make sure you are alright and help you however I can. You have been the best and nicest person I have ever met and …..” She wasn’t quite sure where she wanted to go from there. Most of the words had just spilled out. She really didn’t want to make him worry more, but she had to say something. Most of the time she was looking up at his face while she was talking but near the end she was starting to blush and tried to bury her face in his chest a bit to hide how confused her emotions were right then. Chris listened to what Tulip said, oh he was seriously very bad at things like this! This was why he avoided being around girls, they where odd and he found them hard to understand. Well unless it was any kind of mama person, then he did not mind them. The teen weretiger rubbed the side of his cheek and was trying to think of something good to say, anything that might be good enough. It was his own pain, he did not want to hurt Tulip by being in pain himself! "I wont dissappear" His first words was low, but serious. "Just lately I have started to wonder who I really are, where I belong...what I am. I have been hurt so many times and yet people just return like nothing happened, no one ever made any such....attempt to help me when I lost my memories and forgot who I was...the name was the only thing I could remember. Now I feel weird all the time and I have no idea why...my body hurts constantly and training helps me dull the pain away, it also helps with the pain in my chest." Chris shook his head and rested his right han on the forehead. "I'm afraid..." |

Tulip felt a bit better, but she still hurt from how sad Chris was. At least he was talking about it more. She remembered the elder in the fairy village had once said something about what to do in these cases, but she didn’t remember what is it was. She tried to think of something and when she did she decided to just do it. “I guess we are both afraid, but you aren’t alone and I have you. If you still want to find out about your past I will help you with that. I will help you through anything. I just can’t stand to see you like this … I…..” She released her hug, but stood on her toes as she reached up trying wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling his face down to hers. As a result of this attempt her body would probably be pressed against his as her arms were fairly short and it was very hard for to attempt this. She wasn’t sure if this would help and was blushing furiously at how nervous she was. Still she knew it was something you did with people you liked and maybe it could help that pain in his heart. If he allowed her to pull his face down she would say, “I really like you and don’t want you to ever be alone again.” She would say this just as his face was almost touching hers, in a soft whisper that was still clear as a bell. She would then Kiss him on the lips for the first time. |

Chris listened to what Tulip said and he was a little surprised when she reached to wrap her arms around his neck, she then pulled his face down so that they where face to face with each other. The boy looked into her eyes and could not help but feel very nervous about the situation, he did not know why....he was just nervous. Then again he had never been around a girl in this situation before, the last time he kissed someone was...well he did not even remember it because he had been drunk at the time....but it had not been...like this. Then Tulip kissed him! He looked very shocked when the kiss was over and he blinked a few times as he tried to figure out what just happened to himself. Did she kiss him just now or was he just seeing...and feeling things? "You kissed me? That was weird..." His comment was odd and for a second he sounded like a kid again, then he took a deep breath of air and rubbed the side of his head. He slowly forced Tulip to let go of him, then he turned around and walked over to a wall, he sat down on the floor with the legs crossed. "I know your here...I know that, but I just want mama back. But she do not even want to have me around anymore, I have lost my mothers two times. It hurts and you could not help me with that...it's sad but true. I just do not know what to do and where to go from here." |

The kiss was a short one, but still it was kind of nice in her opinion. However, she was still nervous and then became a bit annoyed and embarrassed when Chris told her it was weird. At the same time she found his confused expression cute. All in all it was very confusing and she didn’t resist too much when Chris removed himself from her grip. She watched him go over and sit down, just standing for the moment. Still when she heard him talking about that mother who had abandoned him again she started getting …. Well she wasn’t quite sure what it was, but it made her angry. In truth she was a little jealous of Chris’ mom who could stir such strong emotions in the boy. “Grrr…. Ahhh.” She went over looking down on Chris sitting on the ground. She was annoyed and concerned at the same times so when she spoke again it probably sounded a bit conflicted. “Jeez all you can say is that kissing me is weird. That was my first time kissing someone like that. I thought guys were supposed to be happy after a girl kissed them and it hardly even phases you. I am starting to get annoyed at all this. You are strong, you are smart, you are great and you deserve better treatment then being ignored. Even if she has forgotten her memories…. It is… it is just wrong to ignore such a great guy. I have half a mind to track her down and give her a piece of my mind. You say I can’t do anything, but I am going to try everything until you stop making that face. It is up to you if you help me or not, but I am going to do something.” Almost a whisper, "I just wish I knew what." After saying these words she stood there waiting for Chris’ answer. She really did feel like tracking down Fara and just yelling at the woman. It didn’t matter what happened to you, you just didn’t hurt people like this. |

"Uhm...no..it was not about that" Chris had not talked about the kiss as if it was bad, he was just...not the kidding kind of person most of the time. But then how could Tulip know that? He rubbed the back of his neck as he tried to think of a good enough thing to say out loud. "I was surprised and...have never...kissed a girl before at all, well apart from when I was a kid and got kisses on the cheeks for giving flowers to a little girl. I was just a little kid then.. I'm sorry I hurt you by seemingly care..." His ears twitched a little and pressed down against his head in a shameful manner, yeah he was feeling a little shame that he reacted so badly. But he had so much on his mind, so he was not sure what he was going to feel about anything. Chris listened to her words and they surprised him, he never imagined Tulip was feeling so strongy about him, he actually blushed a little and looked down at his own feet. "Thanks Tulip" |

Tulip listened to Chris thanking her and she looked exceedingly happy at the moment. With a large smile she spoke again. “Well now then I think you have mopped enough. As I said you are a great guy, so all we have to do is make your mom see how great you are again. Now I don’t know about your mom that much, but she wouldn’t have wanted you to get all sad or hurt yourself would she? If not then go ahead train or whatever you need, but be happy and do it safely. Make yourself so strong as you can that she couldn’t possibly see any faults with you. Of course I will help you with whatever you need.” She blushed a little at the last sentence, but continued talking. “Then we are going to find your mom again and show her exactly how great you are. And if that doesn’t work I will yell at her until she knows you are the best guy on earth and she should be proud to have a son like you.” When she spoke about yelling at Fara, she unconsciously put her hands on her hips looking very fierce, well as fierce as the small girl could look anyways. It probably looked more cute than scary. When she finished talking Tulip kneeled down to look Chris in the eye.
