The day was young, about mid day to be truthful, the sun shining above the village of Kellen. It was a nice day, a light cool breeze blowing around, lifting everyone’s spirits for the day to come. Many of the villagers were in town square working and helping out for a grand celebration that was to be held that night. Streamers were being put up all around the building, the bright colors lining the walls and lamp post. Balloons were tied to benches and signs, different shops had even participated by decorating their windows with festive colors and such. Everyone was in such a hurry to get the ball set up before lunch, for crowds were already pouring in and awaiting the much anticipated Blood Ball.

At first this name came off strong and scary, like a horror story, but the mayor gratefully told of how the name came to be. The celebration was in honor of the start of a new season, a season of love and renewal in the village. It was named the blood ball because of the bond everyone had with each other, friends and companions in this life. The mayor wanted the village and surrounding peoples to come together and join arm in arm, together in this world as inhabitants of imythess. The ball was set to start at lunch, in the center of Kellen with most of the village there. It was odd though because the mayor insisted on doing much of the work, where he had been known before as a lazy man who did not work all that much in public. But there he was lifting and placing things for the celebration.

In the center of the village square was a large stage, wrapped up in a red siding and decorated with bright colors. Banners hung from metal post alongside the stage with the Kellen crest imprinted on them. On the stage was a podium that held a closed and locked book, and a large box like shape on the back of it, draped over with a white sheet that was tied close. The box was large enough to hold a person, or an animal and was promised to hold a surprise for the village. The mayor spoke of a speech that he would give at midnight followed by the unveiling of his gift.

The mayor wore a large white trench coat, extremely large to be exact. He was not at all a fat man, a little wide in the waist maybe, but this coat seemed as if it held a large beast. This was obviously part of his costume, for a large dragons mask was placed on his head with a white top hat over it. He looked absolutely hilarious but that was his goal, to cheer up the villagers and make them happy. He was busy at work setting up the decorations and such, until it came time when he was done and the Ball would begin!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome everyone! We are very proud of our village Kellen and have worked hard to allow this celebration to take place. Please enjoy yourself and have a grand ole time! One o clock had struck, the large clock tower ringing out. A large crowd was set up in front of the stage, the mayor welcoming everyone to his village. Many laughed as he spoke for his costume was a odd one and he even went the length the disguise his voice like a dragons, sort of. He was going all out as was most of the people there. Costume after costume was seen as people dispersed from the stage and began enjoying themselves. A large band all dressed up as skeletons were on the right of the stage playing a upbeat dance tune. Many games were lined up alongside the square including bobbing for apples, ring tosses, wooden sword fighting rings. It was a massive party for all to enjoy. The mayor retired from the podium and made his way to the back of the white box to check on his gift. Guards stood at every exit and most of them were positioned on the stage or behind it, in case someone caused trouble. To make them even more scary and intimidating they all wore demon like mask, wearing horns and fangs to scare children. They had really gone all out this year.

It was early in the day as people readied for the celebrations. He stood by silently not raising a finger to help a soul, it was not his place. At about One o' Clock the mayor began to speak to the crowds. Wearing a ridiculous costume and explaining the festivities to the masses, Ethan was not comfortable with the idea of being here.

Standing in the village Kellen as the celebrations started. He wandered all around observing the people. He was unfamiliar with this type of thing having lived in Ishtan City most of his life. Guards were stationed at every possible entrance, whatever the mayor had planned. He was going to have to stick around to see. A man approached Ethan and tried to put a mask on him. Ethan smacking him away and throwing him to the ground. "How dare you try to shame me with such an atrocity. I am merely an observer and I will be respected by the inhabitants of the event!"

Because of his little episode began to give him sore looks, he didn't care. He knew the reaction was correct of him. He was very confused by the whole event. He was almost scared, no terrified. He had an uneasy feeling as he watched the people go about the festivities. Making an attempt to sneak off in the direction of the mayor, several guards caught him. Turning him away and forcing him into a crowd of costumed people. He sighed loudly, it was apparent that his original thoughts were true. This was no real celebration and he would be going no where until it was over with.

I guess I'm stuck. These fools are clueless and I cannot help those who choose to be ignorant! I don't trust the mayor, he's just making things a little to obviously overdone. He thought quietly to himself.

Ulfr was rather bothered by all the activity. He would have much liked to just go off into the wilderness by himself tonight, but Nathan and Susan Woodson had absolutely protested that idea. After much deliberation, they convinced Ulfr to go to the ball tonight. The Blood Ball. Sithis was getting to much of a kick out of the title, regardless of the mayor stating it represented the ties of brotherhood between. His enthuasism was unnerving Ulfr a little.

Another odd thing about the ball was the mayor himself. In the year or two that Ulfr had been in Kellen, he could not recall at all seeing someone known as the mayor. Strange enough though, he could have swore he saw the man from somewhere. This feeling was only strengthened by Sithis, as he seemed to actually know whoever the mayor was. Sithis was all excited, expecting something to happen today. Ulfr didn't like it one bit, and did not at all trust the mayor.

He was so on edge that the hair on his neck was raised.

So, he went looking for his first and best friend, someone he had been through thick and thin with, someone who meant the world to Ulfr. Someone who if lost would bring his world crashing down on his shoulders. Higoru.

Off he went, searching the town. Higoru would comfort him, with just his presence alone. Whether or not something was up, this was supposed to be about the ties between people. Higoru had to come if that was the case. Besides, they hadn't spent much time together in the past month or so, especially with Ulfr trying to deal with Sithis, the aggrevating demon constantly pestering his every thought with the temptation to shed blood.

What a bother. Now, to find Higoru.

The Village of Kellen. Normally, a happy place, a cheerful setting. But today it was completely filled with merriment and celebration. People of all shapes, sizes, and ages were making their way through the village, trying not to get caught in the over-decorated posts and benches. They were all in costume for this special occation, some were evidently meant to make the people laugh and some (mainly the many guards that made their posts near the entrances and exits) were made to scare. No matter. All in the village were having fun and were waiting to get started with the much anticipated Blood Ball.

Amadeus walked through the crowds. He had to be careful where he placed his staff when it did hit the ground. Didn't want to break out a fight in such a crowded place. (Didn't really wanna break out a fight in any place...) He looked around and saw many different stations at which the people of Kellen had supplied games or entertainment for their guests. He had to admit that the name of the ball had intrigued him. The Blood Ball. Sounded kind of demonic, if you asked him. Which no one ever did... The name didn't match the cheerful demeanor of the festivities or the people of this happy village. If he remembered correctly, he didn't think he had ever heard of a mayor of Kellen. He certainly had never met the man. He wondered just what this mysterious mayor had up his sleeve. Or in his box, rather.

He held his head high in order to see above the crowd and just because he felt confident. The more stunning the outfit, the more confident Amadeus became. And today, he was feeling exceptionally confident. His hair, usually spiked high above his head, was laying flat. Last night, he had added some highlights just for this party. The red streaks that ran through his normally blue hair showed a stark contrast beside his pale face. Even his arched eyebrows could be seen to have pinstreaks of crimson running through them. His yellow feline eyes were rimmed with blue liner and framed by heavily-mascaraed lashes. His pearly white teeth were barely peeking out from behind his thin lips which were snaking up into a grin. He wore a bright red tuxedo, complete with black and blue accents. He had purchased this outfit, in particular, very recently. His black shoes were shined and his wooden staff had been painted with streaks of blue and red. A blood colored top hat rested on his flat hair. It had a black ribbon around it and a blue carnation in the ribbon. A gold chain dangled from his pocket and another hung from around his neck.

He pushed past a couple of people in the crowd and walked up to the stage just as the mayor stood at his podium and welcomed everyone to his village. He wore a ridiculous costume, a dragon of all things. He even was giving an attempt to change his voice deeper and more sinister but still keep its jolly tone. A mask hid his face and a white coat veiled his body. Underneath the coat, there seemed to be a mass of muscle and bulk. Amadues wondered what he looked like under the mask... When the opening address was over, the crowd dispersed again and went about their own business. Back to their games and food. The mayor went back to his business too; he walked over to a large box that was covered with a huge white sheet, it looked like, and looked inside to check on whatever was in that box.

The guards with the scary costumes. The suspicious mayor. The over-the-top decorations. There was certainly something going on here behind the scenes. But Amadeus was having too much fun to notice any of it.

Dante took one step closer to the nice aroma of the faint smell of cooking foods. He wanted something sweet but decided that it would be better for himself if he simply got a small bowl of soup. He waited in line for his soup and as he waited he grew more and more hungry. Finally when he made it to the front of the line he said May I have one bowl of soup. Then the lady behind the counter grabbed a small clay bowl and poured red hot liquid inside of the bowl and handed it to Dante. He grabbed it and taking it regrettably. As he ate the soup he stood in between a home and the shop from where he bought his soup from.

As he stood there taking in a spoon full of the hot soup noticing it was blood red all he could think of was blood. It almost made him sick but he would not throw away good food. He kept eating and even after he got the last spoon full of soup the thought of blood still lingered in his mind. He then placed the bowl down on the ground and slid down the side of the home and watched the crowd.

The wild people decorating and acting generally crazy. They were scaring kids and even the mayor was working which Dante thought was very unneeded. Dante watched as some of the people fought but would stop and carry on with their day but in the end they would go back to fighting in which he found work.

Typical people for the current time. We have demons and people of all kinds roaming the streets of today. Though some of those people are my future business potential. Dante then stood up and walked toward a bench to have a better view of those Dante thought were insane.

Ahriman had taken his time getting there, which was rather unfortunate for him in his views. The bustling of people, and the sounds of the crowd talking over one another made for a rather painful entry to the one city he had taken to liking that was inland. With a smile, he entered the crowd, passing by people to try and get a decent view of the stage.
As the mayor announced the welcome, Ahriman couldn't help but smile. He weaved through the crowd, listening in on a few conversations as he went to a small area where the people weren't as heavily crowding. Moving past a man giving out masks, he took one that was in the shape of a wolf and placed it over his face, bringing a smirk to the pirate's face, even if it was covered by his scarf.

Leaning against a wall, he scanned over the crowd with a patient gaze. The people seemed so happy, and the partying seemed to give them a reason to look through the normal nonsense of everyday life in Imythess. With a sigh, he shifted his feet, "How wonderful it is, ta' see the common folk actually have something to celebrate. Even if they name their celebrations a wee bit odd."
His mood became sour at that. He was always one to be a bit careful in situations, but he wanted to believe that this was a real party. The absence of his crew, and the distance of his faithful pet from the town made for an uncomfortable combination however. With a shake of his head, he moved off of the wall, moving towards a shadowed wall to watch the festivities. He melded into the shadow and looked over the party, his gaze passing over each of the men wearing demon masks with a little more then average curiosity.

Outside of Kellen, there was a scraping of feet on dirt. These feet were covered by soft, brown leather boots and belonged to a small wood elf named Ainsley Lillian. Ainsley, for short. Her wavy hair fluttered behind her as she walked toward the village. Her hands were stuck securely into the pockets of her light brown jacket. Her white, cotton dress flowed just above her knees and her tan legs were bare until they met the top of the boots. Her eyes were set on Kellen. She was visiting this place for the first time, attending a sort of ball. The Blood Ball to be exact. She normally wouldn't venture far from her home in Norwood, but lately she had started to travel out more, go to new places, meet new people, and just branch out in general. The music that filled the village poured out and she could see the colorful decorations from here. She decided that she had made a good choice in coming to Kellen today.

She stepped into the village and looked around. Streamers covered almost every surface. Banners were hung from the shops and people in costumes were everywhere. I didn't know it was a costume ball. I would've made something. Oh well, not everyone here is costumed. She looked around for someone giving out masks. Then decided that a painted face would suit her better. She weaved through the crowd, intent on finding a painting booth. There were booths of every kind lining the streets. Food shops, play areas, and souveneir sellers were making great profit at this festive meeting. She spotted a booth with paints and made her way over to it. Hey, darlin'. What can I do for you? asked the sweet looking old lady behind the counter. Hi there. I was wondering if you could paint my face. You know, for the costume ball? I wasn't aware that I was supposed to wear a costume, and I'd hate to stand out in the crowd as the only plain-looking one. So, do you think you could paint my face to look like a cat? No cat in particular but make it look realistic, if you could, please. she explained to the old lady what she wanted done and she got to work.

The brush tickled her face as the lady started to paint. She tried hard not to squint, for that would mess up the mask. When the lady was finished with the painted mask, she held up a rough looking mirror. The creature gazing back at Ainsley suprised her. She didn't look anything like herself. Her face had been transformed into the mug of a gray and brown tabby cat, complete with whiskers and speckled fur. She smiled and so did the reflection. This is wonderful! Thank you so much. How much do I owe you? she asked the wrinkled artist. Just two gold pieces, dear. she replied. Ainsley reached around for her change pouch and extracted three gold coins and handed them to the lady. For a job well done. she smiled and got up to leave the booth. Her stomach told her that her next stop should be one of the many food vendors.

When she stepped away from the painting booth, a group of guards rushed by, almost knocking her down. They were dressed in demon masks that were topped with horns or other such demons characteristics. They were carrying a man dressed like a wolf by both arms and legs. He looked to be in a struggle against the guards. I didn't do anything! All I did was look under the sheet! he screamed to the guards who obviously didn't care what he did, only the he be dismissed from the village, and hastily at that. I wonder what happened. And what sheet is he talking about? How could someone get in so much trouble for looking under a sheet? Unless... the sheet were hiding something that he wasn't supposed to see? These thoughts and more sprinted through her mind as she composed herself once more and went looking for a booth that sold food. Preferably a salad.

As the man finally entered Kellen he noticed many a brightly colored post. People in costume swarmed around him and he smiled. Parties were always fun because people always seemed to get drunk and pick fights. Then he could gauge who would be the most fun to fight sober and fight them to prove his strength. Noticing he was out of costume he made his way to a cart in the street that was selling masks and purchased a festive one and put it on. People weaved their way through the streets of the little town and again the man smiled. The other reason he liked festivals was that it was a chance to show off strength with competitions.

The man made his way around the town looking for a place to sign up for any and all competitions. Seeing none at the moment he plopped down on a bench and waited for the real fun to begin. He knew it wouldn't take long for the fireworks to begin. It never did.

Kellen… This was definitely a rare day for the village, not because of the event that way going on, not because the mayor was actually doing the work, but because the pale fiend known as Horo had been within its boundaries for more than five minutes, and so far had not dropped a single corpse upon the ground in a bloody mess, had not taken a person’s head and crushed it between his fingers. It was actually kind of amusing to him to not be killing, like some odd joke that only he knew.

The mask he had worn over three hundred years ago had reappeared this day upon his pale white face, masking his identity with his own identity, a black cloak with the hood hanging over the frightening mask hid his pale skin and hair from view. An odd concept, but he wore the mask of the Taras Monster, the white bone-faced creature that had once plagued the city, killing hundreds of people for little more than ritual sacrifice. All powerful ones too, whether figuratively or literally, skilled or not, their blood had formed the process which had created the being that wreaked havoc yet still under the known name of Horo Ogichi. It was… odd to revisit the past to cover up his current infamy, but an interesting practice none-the-less.

He had seen a few other people with masks such as his, and clothes as black as those he wore back in those times, the dark cloaks which completely hid the identity of the wearer when combined with the horrific mask that so many saw before their deaths. However, there was one big difference that the pale demon noticed about their outfits, at least, the difference was big to him. Their stitching was off, single-crossed rather than alternating between single and double. Nobody had paid attention to that detail that had witnessed his earliest works; he was the only one walking around with an authentic cloak, for he was the one who had stitched the cloak together so long ago. The fact that his had remained in one piece for all of these years was no less than astounding to him, and it didn’t even go against his general qualms of disguising himself, since he was merely dressed as himself. It was a cop-out, and one that had so far kept many Kellan villagers alive.

He wandered about, the attraction of wooden sword-fighting catching his attention, he couldn’t help himself but to participate.

Having been handed the wooden sword, he looked it over a moment, a bemused expression hidden beneath his mask before he turned to his eager, would-be opponent, dressed in an odd-looking goblin costume, despite the fact there was a definite height difference.

“I’ll be sure to go easy on you, tall-guy. I haven’t lost yes though.” The man said, eager. His stance was absolutely horrible, and almost immediately, Horo realized that this was going to be a truly entertaining show.

“First time for everything.” His high-pitched maddened voice said from behind the guise as he lifted his sword forward with his right hand, “I’ll beat you in a single swing.” He said once more with that nearly trademarked chuckle. The goblin-man shrugged before charging, and as predicted, a single blow was all that was needed to end the fight. Ogichi had not attempted to even avoid being stricken by his opponent’s blow, but instead merely brough his sword down through the goblin’s defense, shattering the other wooden sword and dislocating the man’s arm. It was really fun, even if there was only minimal bloodshed!

Everything was going just as planned, the party was large and full of people, everyone taking time to enjoy themselves and just have fun bringing in the season of brotherhood. All the lights and decorations made the place look so festive, after all kellen was not normaly this decorated so it was fun to see how every shop stand and person was taking to the party. Sure there would be a few who did not enjoy themselves, who simply stayed around to witness the massive gift at the end. But that was no problem, for shortly the whole party would get going, and lots more fun would be had.

The afternoon had gone on, with many games, contest and smelling good foods going on. The sun was stretching its way across the sky to the ends of the earth, nightfall usering its way in. It was about eight at night when things got good. People started dancing even more as the up beat band got good. The lights could be seen even more agaisnt the darking background. The scene was just so amazing, people all over the place in unique and cool costumes, some much more creative than others. There had been a few problems with small children and sneaky men trying to catch a peek under the large sheeted cage, but the guards were doing a grand job of watching out for it.

Chaos was enjoying himself the most, his costume was hands down the best of them all. He had worked so hard on it that no one even reconized him, not saying his name or even knowing he was there. He had done exactly what he wanted, and now was just in wait for his grand moment. The Mayor was busy scurring around the stage, setting things up for what was to be the finale gift for kellen. He inched his way around the back of the white covered cage and lifted a small portion so he could see into the cage but no one else could.
Good, you are still there. We wouldnt want the surprise to be ruined by you getting away would we? The mayor let out a familiar laugh as he lowered the sheet and walked away, getting things set up for the later portion of the party.

Where am i? why the hell do i not remember what happened?Higoru was a mess, well in a mess of things to be more exact. His head was black and fuzzy, his mind completly absent of what had been going on. His body was sore and aching, like he had run non stop for a week. He was tired and in pain, and so very confused.

All he knew was that a couple of days ago he was searching kellen for his best friend Ulfr, he had gained valuable information on a demon he was chashing and traced him here to the village. Seeing how both him and the werewolf vowed the duty to save kellen, he was sure ulfr would have fun killing this demon. But as the ninja chased the demon, things took a turn for the worse.

A dark ally was their meeting place, where he went toe to toe with the large red beast, only to get knocked out. He remembered seeing the metal hand fly at his face, his ears full of the dark evil laugh, and then darkness, pain and darkness. He was unsure fo what happened after that but he knew it had to have led up to this.

Higoru finally mustered the strength to look around, gaze upone his prison. He was chained in a cage, shackles on his wrist ankles and neck. All the chains snaked to the edge of the cage and were locked to it, holding him here in this prison. A white covering was on the outside of the cage, and he could he faint sounds of laughter and joy. This was all strange and confusing, for he had no idea what was to happen. Suddenly a small portion of the white sheet was picked up, and a man in a strange looking dragon mask peered in. he spoke to higoru and then laughed as he left. Higorus eyes went wide, for he knew that laugh, and knew that tonight was about to get much more worse than he had imagined.

As the day wore on, Ulfr was getting more and more frantic. He couldn't find Higoru anywhere. Upon returning to the Woodsons, and he asked them if they had seen Higoru. They said no, and Nathan tried to calm Ulfr down, who looked rather disoriented from his worry.

Calm down my boy, he's around here somewhere. Relax; today is a day for celebration and fun. I'm sure Higoru is out he fun himself.

His scent is stale! And it runs in circles, not leading out of the village! I'm telling you, something is up, and i'm freaking out. I don't know if his clan has finally found him and done away with him or what! He doesn't even like the inn when too many people are in there being rambunctious, so why would he be out there? Something is wrong, and I don't know what!

Ulfr sat down on their couch with his head in his hands. He began to shake, worried to death over his friend. Kaylen walked over to him and sat, putting her arms around him. She rubbed his back, doing what she could to comfort him. He continued to shake, but was otherwise silent.

After a moment and when Ulfr had collected himself, he thanked Kaylen, and she gave him a weak smile. He turned and exited the house, returning to the cess pool of people. He sighed. Sithis had been getting more and more exicted all day, especially now that it was night. Only a few more hours before the Mayor had announced that he would revel his surprise. The happier Sithis got, the worse Ulfr began to worry.

The reasons behind Ulfr's excessive worry were simple. Higoru's scent was stale, and there no fresh scent anywhere of him. That just didn't happen. Higoru was the person most important to Ulfr. His first true friend. They had ben through everything together. THey had fought a Kraken and lived to tell the tale. They fought off a hundred bandits, then dealt with a huge wolf pack immediately afterwards. They freed a lttle dragon from imprisonment in an electric cage. They had been through so much, and they knew each other completely.

Sure, Higoru liked to disappear from time to time, but that doesn't explain the way his scent was around the village right now. It was wierd. He had to be in the village. But where was he?

Victoria walked out of the forest to find that there was a little party going on. Well, not little, and not party...

It looked like most of this town had come to celebrate something, though, Victoria know not. She was new to Imythess, and know nothing about anything of this place. She had hoped to find someone who could help her find her way around this new area, but had little hope of finding such a person.

As she walked up to the center of town -from what it looked like- Viky saw that many of the people where dressed in costumes. She was new here, and saw that there where some others that didn't have costumes on.

As Victoria walked into the Ball area, she saw that there were guards... and they had on creepy masks. She saw that most of the little kids stayed away from where the guards where. Victoria could have laughed. There was what looked like the Mayor standing behind a large box-looking thing that had a white cloth over top. Victoria went to look at it, but the guards turned her away.

Victoria bumped into some random person. She said "Oh, I'm so sorry!!" and ran away. She was never good with people. Not even when she was a human...

As her normal clothing, Viky was dressed in a black dress. There was slight v-neck to it, and it went down to her knees. She wasn't wearing shoes, but, then again, she never did. Victoria went to a random both thing. It had some food. That was when she found that she was really hungry. "One... umm, whatever it is you're giving, please?" the women there gave her the food. Victoria went over to a tree, and sat down to eat her food. She didn't even try to guess what it was she was eating, for she didn't look at it. She didn't care what she got, she just needed some sort of food thing...

Kellen. What an odd name. Her aunt had told her about it. With so many people about, she decided it would be best to try out her best disguise. She first fashioned a pouch of sorts. In all truth, it looked like a small red saddlebag with pouches on each side. She was rather pleased with it. In it she packed her things, using her extra clothing to pad it. Wearing not much. Just leather laced skin tight along her legs and torso and her plate armor. She strapped the pouches round her shoulders and across her ribcage. With nothing else to do, Ash let her spell take form.

It wasn’t long before she was shifted into a good sized dog. Hunting hound sized with a narrow snout, pointed ears, and rust colored fur. There was cream colored fur from just under her chin, along her belly, and to the tip of her tail. The back of her ears and along her spine was fur so dark it hinted at black. It didn’t reach past the base of her skull or down the length of her tail though. She had the look of a hunting hound crossed with a dire fox. No viciousness to her features though. And she was big enough to carry a person, though a human would have to pick up their feet. Pleased with her disguise, she went forward into town to play with the children while things were being set up.

The pouches marked her as tame and were settled snugly across her shoulder blades and strapped securely across her ribcage. She was gifted treats from the children and gave many of them many a ride before the evening came. She found herself curled up about five yards from the podium with a trio of sleeping children leaning on her like a pillow. There had been a few more and many awake children. However, one of the parents of two of the three sleeping children had taken a seat on the bench with a warm cider in hand. Positioned as a guardian, none of the children felt inclined to risk the wrath in favor of playing with a lrge friendly dog. Ash received a pet on the head and praise for her obedience. She smiled and wagged her tail. Yes. Her disguise was no doubt the best so far. No one thought her other than a tame dog. No doubt they thought her to belong to one of the many guests here.

The sun was gone now, its last rays of warm sunlight gone from the earth as it hide amongst the stars in the night sky. With the arrival of the moon came a strong gust of cool air and a dark sense around the village. Music was still playing, getting louder now to attract more people, the lights were even brighter with the black night as a background. The crowd had almost doubled since that afternoon, many people coming to enjoy and partake in the festivities, even if all they did was sit and watch the many actors and performers juggling and dancing around in the streets. The mayor had been busy setting things up, making sure he talked to every guard and remind them of their job tonight. He even took some extra measures to set up guards on the roofs an din back allys. As the black metal hand of the cloak tower ran towards midnight, the mayor took his place on stage behind the podium.

Now he needed everyones attention, for the night was drawing near and he was ready to begin. The cloaked hand of the mayor waved, stopping all music games and entertainment. This would have attracted the attention of most, but the blood thirsty, deafning yell he let out would have drawn everyones eye for sure. This of course would seem out of place and odd if he was not dressed poorly as a dragon. To the crowd this would appear as if he was still paying his part in the costume scene. As the eyes of the crowd moved from their individual activities to the stage, the mayor clapped his hands. all the guards took a watchful stance, placing their weapons in front of them and across their chest, the night getting very silent and eerie.

Attention! Thank you all for being here tonight, we are very glad to see all the lovely villagers participating in their own heritage. But tonight is not just a night to party but a night to come closer as brothers and sisters, to come together as living creatures in this world. The speech was very heart felt, and full of emotion. The faces of the crowd drawn in and attentive, all ready for the next words out of their mayors mouth. but tonight is not a happy occasion, we are not here to celebrate life together, but the reign we will have on your souls! With a blood thirsty yell he tore the costume off, reveling his demonic apperance beneath the disguise. Chaos was now there, standing in the open. Shocked and confused faces instantly shown as the crowd got really quiet.

With a strong tug chaos pulled the sheet form the cage, revealing the man higoru chained and tied in the cage. The crowd was now scared, shouting and screaming, most of the men making their way to the stage to end this. But the guards would not allow it. They started pushing people back into the center, useing their weapons to guide the people back into the crowd. A line of the demonic guards stood between the people and the stage, their swords out and ready to cut anyone who came near. A few brave men stood ready to fight against this.

By now Chaos had opened the cage and was standing inside of it, his cutter drawn and ready for its act of the night. His raised the blade and placed it under the chin of the ninja, pressing its cold steel next to his exposed flesh. For to long you pathetic people have lived, no fear and no worry of what could happen to you. But we have laid in the darkness for to long, watching and waiting. Tonight the Divschatten will make their mark in imythess, and spread their name in blood and death! With a sudden swing the blade removed the mans head, the ninjas body falling limp in the chains and his masked head rolling out of the cage and onto the stage. Now the whole crowd screamed, many already crying. The guards all drew their weapons now, moving into the crowd. The few in front of the stage now rushed forward, killing the line of men who were brave enough to fight. Blood spilled over the whole area as chaos made his way out of the cage holding higorus dead body.

Enjoy your gift!Roared the demon as he ripped the mans dead corpse in two, blood spilling all over the demon and the stage. He then chucked the two halves of the body into the crowd, covering many of the crowd in the mans blood. But he was not done. with a mighty yell he blasted fire balls at all the street lamps in the town square. They exploded in a burst of fire and light, sending flames and broken glass all over the crowd. It was mass Chaos, death everywhere as the guards killed random people, leaving others alive. Chaos stood on stage, covered in fire and blood, his demonic laugh echoing out over the dyeing village.
