| Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. Create a character now! If you're already a member, you can log into your account below: |

She listened closely to her sister as she spoke, still nibbling away at her sandwich. It made her feel a lot better to know that the injections didn’t hurt as much as they seemed to. She listened to what her sister said about everything feeling wrong. She wished there was a way to correct this feeling, but Chelsea fully understood that she would have to see for herself that their grandfather was actually a good person. At least, that’s what Chelsea was led to believe. Chelsea was much more willing to see their grandfather as a good person, because life was so much more enjoyable when she wasn’t getting punished for something. “I’m sure everything feels different being female. I think you just need to give yourself more time to adjust. I think it’s just nervousness, maybe, when he touches you.” She leaned in for a moment to whisper, “I get nervous sometimes too.” When she continued to say that she had dark thoughts about their grandfather being evil, Chelsea's eyes widened. She dropped her sandwich and immediately put herself up on the table to place a paw over Shirine’s mouth. “Don’t let me hear you say that ever again, sister!” she said sternly. “Our grandfather is helping us stay safe from ourselves and from the dangers that the outside world brings. If it weren’t for him, we’d still be stuck with our curses, probably going mad by now. I know that I would probably be dead by now, if it weren’t for our grandfather coming to save me.” She remained standing on her three paws on top of the table with one paw over her sister’s mouth. She made sure that she wasn’t standing in their food so that they’d still be able to eat once she sat back down. She lowered her voice, keeping her eyes locked on Shirine. “I’m really glad that you told me this. I can’t stand the thought of you driving yourself mad over something that’s not true. If it weren’t for our grandfather, we would never have found each other again. We probably would never have met each other.” She slowly lowered her paw, but didn’t place it on the table yet. “I hope you can understand that we are very lucky to be here. Grandfather is helping us getting rid of our curses, and we’re helping him earn some money. Mistakes are bound to happen, like when the Matron was here. I don’t think that went very well, but our grandfather is still staying positive. You should think about doing him a favour and be more polite to him. I know he would be happy to see that you’re happy.” She finally stopped talking so that her sister could process everything she just said. Chelsea would be certain to keep telling her about the good things in their lives if she insisted that their grandfather was a bad person. She had never heard anything more ridiculous. |

Shirine was stunned by her sister’s reaction to her own words. Her sister stepping on to the table was shocking enough that she didn’t even twitch as her mouth was covered. Her sister was speaking of things she truly believed and this confused Shirine even more. Her sister was right about a lot of things that had seemed wrong at first, but she just couldn’t bring herself to believe that Wethrin was really a kindly grandfather. In response shrine found her ears pressing down and her tail dropping a bit as she felt really bad at making her sister upset. Just from her facial expression it was clear that her Shirine was as sorry as she could be. Her sister did so much for her and deserved to be happy not angry. Her sister also made a lot of good points too and had such conviction in her voice that even Shirine found herself doubting her own belief for a moment. Shirine quickly dismissed the fact and decided that her sister was simply brainwashed by that drow, but now there was an ever so tiny crack of doubt. There wouldn’t be any easy way to free her sister. Was she truly going to be doomed to a life here…. Shirine didn’t know. She was silent for a few moment her own sandwich was quite forgotten laying partially on the plate where she had dropped it when her Chells had acted. “I… I … I don’t really know what to say sister. Maybe some of this is from being nervous, but ….” Shirine decided to lie a bit as she knew she wouldn’t be able to convince her sister of her true thoughts. “…well I can’t really control thoughts. I will try to be better around grandfather. I really will, but it is difficult, especially when those thoughts just come to my mind when dealing with grandfather. They just are there when I look at him and especially whenever he talks about curing my curse.” She shook her head a bit wondering why she said that last few things the way she did. In truth it was another of Wethrin’s mental commands. It was subtle and for the most part just encouraged her to phrase things that might hint at the curse by the source of any problems. Still she decided it was just her own thoughts being confused and moved on. “I wish it weren’t so…. Maybe curing my curse will help, but …..” Looking a bit concerned as she didn’t want her sister to hate her. “What if it doesn’t I don’t want you to be angry, but I really just don’t know how to control something that is just there. If only there was a potion that could make me less confused about it all.” |

She calmed down greatly when she saw that her sister was feeling bad for making her react so enthusiastically. Chelsea was not mad or upset that Shirine had these feelings; she was more concerned than anything else. They couldn’t let their grandfather find this out. If he found out somehow, Chelsea expected that he would get really upset and have some alone time with Shirine. She had a feeling that there was a potion to make her less confused about it all, but she didn’t want to say anything about it just yet. She remained silent until Shirine was finished talking. She finally put her paw down on the table to stand squarely like a kitten would on four paws, and forced a smile. “The thoughts that you cannot control is your curse talking. Try not to listen to it. I know it’s hard, but I think that once we get rid of your curse, you’ll feel a lot better about being here. Just do your best to look on the bright side of things.” She was smiling naturally now as she thought about how happy she was to have her sister. It was getting really lonely here without somebody to talk to. She sat back down on her chair so that they could continue eating, and then said to her sister, “Whenever I get down, I always remind myself that I’m still alive, and that I’ve got you now. I know that there are much worse places that I could be, and I’m happy that I’m not in those places. One time, I had a really angry demon try to kill me when I didn’t do what he asked me to do. He was trying to gather up some sort of stone shards that belonged to him, so I retrieved one for him but at the last minute, I threw it into a ravine. I’m really lucky to have escaped from that monster. If that elf wasn’t there to help me, I would have been very dead.” She hoped that an example would help cheer up her sister. “Our grandfather would never put us in such dangerous situations, and I know he’ll never try to kill us no matter what we do wrong. I think sometimes he uses painful potions so that we can be reminded of how lucky we are that we’re alive.” She finished off her first sandwich, getting every last crumb from her teeth before saying, “Just remember, things could always be worse. Our grandfather means well, trust me. He’s not a bad guy. Our curses just think he is because we’re working together to get rid of them.” She explained, grabbing another sandwich and nibbled away while watching her sister’s facial expressions. |

Shirine was glad that her sister sat back down and had found some of Chelsea’s words comforting. When she was cured things would of course be better. Plus her sister had a point that things could be worse, but at the same time things could be better if they weren’t under Wethrin’s control. Even with what her sister said she couldn’t think of Wethrin as anything, but evil. She continued to listen until her sister was finished speaking managing to eat a little of the sandwich, but her apatite, just wasn’t there anymore. Her sister had finished an entire sandwich by the time Shirine had finished half of her own. Her own mind was in conflict the entire time. She wanted to make her sister happy, but at the same time she wanted to hold her own belief in what was true. It also troubled her that again there had been a brief moment when she doubted her on beliefs. Shrine was determined to not be swayed by the twisted lies and plans of the drow, but it was so hard to trust yourself when you had a curse that you didn’t fully understand. It would be really hard to lie to her sister too. Over all there was no way to a happy resolution. As a result of her depressing thoughts she didn’t really cheer up all that much her ears still lowered and she looked depressed. In the end she decide there was only one thing to do was at least pretend. She that she wouldn’t do that well at lying to her sister, but she could at least try to make her happy. Putting on a fake happy grin she spoke trying to sound a little cheerier. “I suppose your right sis. It isn’t going to be easy, but I will try my best not to think on such things. I want you to be happy, so I won’t ever say that Grandfather is evil again. You will figure everything out, I will be cured and it will all be better after that. Since the only way to get myself cured of these thoughts is those potions, let us hurry up and get back, if you are done eating that is. I don’t have much of an appetite right now. Don’t worry about me I can handle anything you give me, so don’t worry about my own pain for now. It is better to get it over with fast than have to endure it all for a long time.” To some extent she really did want to just get this all over with. Even if it changed her more than it already had, she would at least get past this point and maybe they could relax for a while. Any free time she could gain would help her find a way to allow both of them to escape the drow. She was ready to endure anything to get those chances. Thus she still looked depressed, but had a determined glint in her eye. |

Chelsea smiled when she saw her sister smile, not noticing that it was a fake smile. She was very happy to hear her sister’s response, too. She could see from her lowered ears that she was still a bit upset, but Chelsea was still happy that her sister was able to smile. She finished off the sandwich that she started, and then left the rest of the sandwiches on the table for later. “Ok, then. Let’s get going.” She stood up from the table, and led her sister back up to the lab. Walking into the lab, she rubbed her belly with a big smile on her face. “Yummm, my tummy needed that.” She walked straight over to the mixing table and picked up her notebook, looking it over to remind herself of a couple things before continuing again. She wanted to make sure that she started the right way so that Shirine’s demon form would only have the choice to co-operate. If Wethrin was still in the room, she’d turn around and say, “I hope we didn’t take too long, grandfather, but we’re back and ready to keep going.” She smiled at him, and started on the next potion. The first thing she knew to concentrate on was the curse’s form size. She wondered what its’ current size was, though, so that she would be able to estimate how much of an ingredient she needed. “Umm...” she turned to her sister and said, “Maybe it’ll be safer for us if you go back into the cell for now...” she suggested, not wanting to get hurt by her curse’s form. She understood that the curse could easily take over when in that form, so risks should be avoided for now. She would look at their grandfather and ask, “What do you think? Would that be a better idea, or can she just go in the circle that I was in earlier?” she wondered, pointing toward where she was the last time her grandfather forced her into her cursed form. Memories from those few minutes tried to flood her mind, but Chelsea managed to keep focussed. It was obvious that her thoughts were sidetracking, but her eyes remained looking at Wethrin. |

Wethrin looked with interest as his two pets walked back in. Rim seemed to be quite normal though Shirine seemed to still be unstable. He felt he would need to look at some of his spying devices latter to see what they had talked about out there. Still there was time enough for that later. For now he needed to respond to his pet and get things finished off. “Welcome back and no you didn’t take too long.” He watched as she started working towards the next potion. Her next set of questions were quite interesting and he had to think about it for a bit. His hand stroked his chin while he thought. A minute later he answered her. “Well in truth it would depend on how you want to go about doing the next step. If you want to go slow and adjust things as you go I would recommend putting Shirine in the cage where there are more things to hold her down while you work. Doing it slow will of course give you more control of the final appearance, but Shrine will need to stay in the demon form the entire time. You could do it faster using the circle. You would have to judge things quickly after Shrine shows you her demon form once quickly. After that you would need to develop a strong potion for injection. I can show you what catalysts you will need. You will also need to inject it straight into Shirine’s heart so the potion can quickly move throughout the body. Of course the disadvantage is that this method is more unpredictable and the results may be very different than expected. This is not to say the potion won’t work, but it may go about the task in unexpected ways. I will leave it up to you choose wisely little one.” Wethrin was quite interested in which options she would choose. It could tell him much about her current state of mind. It was so fun doing experiments inside of experiments. |

Shirine walked back with her sister, keeping the fake smile up the entire way. In truth she was still quite upset inside as she didn’t see any way out of this living nightmare. She had some small joy in that her sister was at least happy, but it was hard to be happy herself, when she knew the truth. Thus her ears remained down, showing her depressed state. Of course if her sister looked she did her best to look as happy as possible, but eventually she was sure her sister would notice her mood. Shirine just hopped that maybe Chell wouldn’t notice for the rest of the day and give Shirine a chance to think of something. When they got back to the room she decided to say a few words to Wethrin. “Thank you for the break grandfather.” It felt like black bile, as she said the words, but she kept a forced cheery tone. If nothing else she had to try or her sister’s happiness would disappear too. That would be just too much to bear. When her sister mentioned going back into the cage she trembled slightly, but she still said “I can go in any time you need me to sister. Remember I can handle anything, so just do whatever you think is best. I trust you the most.” Shirine was a bit nervous about Wethrin’s two choices. Both of them didn’t sound fun and she wasn’t sure which would be worse. To some extent being in the cage might be better as she had less chance of doing harm to Chell. On the other hand the other one might cure her really quickly and she would have plenty of time to plan their escape. She was probably shrug her shoulders if her sister asked which was better, as Shrine just could choose. |

Chelsea was happy to hear her sister talking to their grandfather. It made her feel like Shirine was actually attempting to make the best of everything. She smiled wider when he said that they didn’t take too long. It was great news to know that they left and returned quickly. It didn’t feel like they weren’t gone long, but it wasn’t something to worry about now. She listened carefully when he explained the differences between the cage and the circle. She wanted to do this as quickly as possible with the least number of mistakes. She kind of hoped that her grandfather would do this instead of her. After a few minutes of thinking, Chelsea decided, “I think the cage would be better. Even though the circle could be faster, it also leaves a lot of room to make it take a lot longer than it would in the cage. If she’s in the cage, I can still give her strong potions though, right?” she looked over at her sister, then back at her grandfather, “She’ll be able to shapeshift back into her normal form if I need her to, right?” Without waiting for confirmation, she led her sister into the cage. It made her feel a lot better, hearing her sister say that she trusts her the most. She couldn’t help but wonder what their grandfather would think of that. Once Shirine was safely locked inside the cage, Chelsea asked politely for her to transform into her demon form. She took a deep breath, and stood back, well out of reach from the cage if she tried to get through. Still with her notebook in her hand, she quickly went back to grab her pencil, and wrote down what the starting form looked like. |

Wethrin was impressed with Chell's reasoning she was certainly thinking out the processes of the experiments well enough. It seemed she would become a most capable lab assistant in the future. Still it seemed like she still needed some instruction on a lot of things. Oh well in time she would get better. "Oh you certainly can give her strong potions and even some strong injected potions, but they will still be weaker than anything you could give her in the circle. The cirlce has some properties that allow for stronger potions to be used. If we used one of those outside the circle the chemicals could easily harm Shirine a lot. As for changing back, Shirine certainly could between potions, but it is best if she stays in one form. Transforming could quite possibly undo some of our work and force us to do it all over again. I would recomend she stays in one form for the duration of the process. Still it is your project Chells, so you get to make that choice." He helped his little pet get Shirine into the cage and attached a few chains, mainly on the paws and one connected to the colar on Shirine's neck. Just added percautions against the demon of course. He stepped out with Chells and watched Shirine transform. The chains being magical adjusted to the new form's size. After this he would help Chellsea with the potion giving pointers on how to work things. He mostly had ignored the last comment from Shirine. He had full control over that broken toy, so he didn't have anything to fear from her being attached to his other pet. |

Shirine didn't like going back into the cage and she disliked Wethrin following them in too. Her worry was justified as the elf set chain around her limbs and one attached to her neck. His words about it being for safety agains her demon curse sounded fine, but some how again she knew this was a lie. He was just chaining her up, because that was the sort of thing he enjoyed. Once the cage was locked she was asked to tranform so, Shirine did. Demon form still looked mostly like that of a tiger, but larger. Almost two and half times the size of a normal tiger. Shirine was a little suprised as last time she had controled her size more to make herself look better for her sister. Now she hadn't really thought about it and just let things take their natural course. The strong muscles and powerful claws were quite enjoyable, and now if she could only find a way to catch Wethrin in them and tear him appart. Again she was quite surprised as completely uncounciously she let out a low deep growl that was clearly directed towards wethrin. On top of this her new cat insincts had put her into a position that looked ready to pounce and catch the small drow in her site. Her chains shook a little as she resisted the urge to pouce Wethrin. It would be more that worthless as she doubted she would break the bars and then there was the pain. She waited patienly her tail twitching the entire time until her sister gave her the first potion. As for potions Wethrin would present many options to Chellsea. One would be to reduce different body sections at a time, such as reducing muscels first then organs and bones, then other bits and pieces left over. It was obviously the method that would provide the most control, but also probably be the most painful. The next option was just to reduce everything in proportion. For the most part this would mean many smaller doses of potions over a long period of time. It would probably take them until very late and Shirine's demon form would mosly stay the same, just be smaller. The last one was to hook needles with tubes to shirine (Think older version of a modern IV) and continuely inject differnt potions to different parts of the body. This would supply a good deal of control and probably wouldn't be too painful, then again if Shirine acted up, the entire process could end up being delayed or even ruined, forcing them to restart. Then of course there were all sorts of options between these main categories. Wethrin left the choices mostly up to Chellsea, but would advise on how to mix the various potions that were needed for whatever she decided to do. |

She was starting to wish that she chose the circle instead, so that they could go faster. There were downsides to both ways to fully getting rid of Shirine’s curse, it seemed. However, it was already decided that they were using the cage. She looked up at Wethrin in confusion as he attached the chains to Shirine, but she didn’t say anything. She didn’t want to ask too many questions... She watched her sister transform, her heart racing a bit as she saw how big she was. She was startled by the low growl that was directed at their grandfather. Obviously, her demon form didn’t care about respecting him. The size was definitely the first thing to go. The smaller you are, the less powerful you feel. So, she wrote down the starting size of the form, comparing it to a Pegasus. When she was presented with so many options, she decided to go with the first one. Reducing different body sections at a time, because it allowed for the most control. Her sister said that she’d be able to handle anything, so she was not concerned about it being painful for her. She wanted to get this over with and out of the way. Reducing size was the most important so that they wouldn’t have to give her such large doses of each potion. The smaller she was, the fewer ingredients they had to use up... At least, it seemed to make sense in Chelsea’s mind. First thing was first; she figured that the limbs would be best to start with. First the limbs (legs, paws, tail), then the head & neck, then finally the organs, bones, torso, and whatever was leftover. So, she shared her idea with Wethrin once they were inside the lab. For some reason, she didn’t want her sister knowing that they were going with the most painful option. Once she had the first potion mixed and portioned, she carefully poured the potion into a bowl that was on the floor inside the cage. She then slowly pushed it over with her paw, making sure not to spill any. “Drink up, sister.” She said softly, “It’s the beginning of a new beginning for us. You’ll be back to normal before you know it.” She was lying, much to her surprise, about it being a quick process, but they were honest words of encouragement. It was one way of looking at their situation, even if Shirine didn’t agree. Chelsea knew she had to be strong for her, so she plastered an assuring smile on her face, and waited patiently to see the results of the first potion. |

Shirine drank the potion obediently. She didn’t really hesitate, because she knew they had to get this over with no matter what happened. The first potion wasn’t too bad at first as she felt a tingle at most, but soon she was feeling the weight of her body and had to lie down or risk stressing her muscles trying to hold up her larger upper body. She didn’t really notice, but her tail had shrunk in proportion to the rest. She sat there waiting for the next potion hopping it would balance things out a bit more. The next potions felt odd as she could feel her face and neck getting smaller. It was sort of odd having a smaller head and limbs than her torso, but even if it was uncomfortable she waited again. The next potions continued to be weird. Her internal organs shrinking were a tough one and easily the most painful, until the rest of her torso caught up with the shrinking. Her bone structure getting shrunk down and all the rest was equally odd. Of course that was only the first dose and this entire process was repeated several times each time forcing her to get smaller and smaller. Each round got more and more uncomfortable and Shirine found it particularly disturbing when she started becoming smaller than Wethrin’s form. Her demon form had been a strength against the man and now it seemed that was getting taken away from her. She growled at him again around this point, but this probably only encouraged her sister to go farther. When the process was finished she was tired, but she was indeed down to the size of a normal house cat. Shirine was annoyed at small and mostly ineffective her current claws would be and it seemed that her sister had made an effort to make her look cute. Her fur was softer and she just felt less threatening even to a rat. Shirine hid her annoyance for the most part and tried to smile in her new form. Over all Shirine had even noticed that the smaller she had gotten the more docile she had become. It was a subconscious effect and mostly instinctual. Not to mention this was probably a large psychological blow having lost her source of strength. This of course would look like a great success for Chell’s and Wethrin's view point. When allowed to she finally allowed to shift back into her hybrid form, which was now considerably larger than her demon form, she sighed with relief. It felt good to be back in that form and oddly it felt even more natural than before. Perhaps it was because she simply didn’t want to feel so helpless in that tiny demon form, but she was embracing her new hybrid form even more now. |

Wethrin watched his little pet Chells work away on her ‘sister’. It was good seeing her willing to do whatever was necessary. Even though it looked like Shirine was in pain at several points, Chells kept at it. Even better was the feeling of increased power over the smaller and weaker looking demon Shirine. His smile was broad and happy by the end of the experiment. It was well into the late night by the time they had finished so, he dismissed both of them after the experiment letting them rest. In the morning he would fetch Chells from her room and bring her into the lab where several large cages rested. “Now then my little pet I know you had quite the angry experience yesterday so I got you something to help you vent some of that emotion today. It isn’t good to keep it bottled up after all. Shirine will be studying manners and protocol again today. It will be good for her to refine those skills if the matron showed up. You did well enough that you won’t need to attend of course.” He then pulled back the cover on the cages. Inside were various wolves. One cage held a large vicious and possibly rabid wolf, another held a more normal wolf, another had an old wolf, another had what seemed to be a mother and cubs, others had different fur patterns and so on. There was total of twenty cages in all. “Now then feel free to do whatever you wish to these creatures. Experiment as you will or just play with them. They are the cousins of the ones who murdered our family, so do whatever you must.” Wethrin smiled taking a seat in the lab with a good view to watch whatever Chellsea did. |

As they worked through the potions, Chelsea was becoming happier and happier. She was really glad to see that the potions were working without any troubles, and she was most overjoyed once they were finally done. She didn’t seem to be very tired from all the happiness she was showing, but it had indeed been a long day. She could tell that her sister was tired, so she didn’t bother her much after they were dismissed. Chelsea fell asleep just a couple minutes after lying down in her room, and woke up a few hours later to the sound of her grandfather’s voice, her energy replenished. However, she had had a bad dream, so her attitude seemed a bit dark. She followed Wethrin into the lab, having completely forgotten about her anger from the previous day. His words reminded her of the experience, and her anger returned just as easily as it had appeared in the circle. Images flooded into her mind of her family being slaughtered by those horrid beasts, and she wished once more that she could avenge her family. As he was explaining about her sister having to train more on manners and protocol, she dropped herself to walk on all fours, and walked up to the cages a little bit, sitting neatly with her tail swaying to and fro. When he pulled back the cover on the cages and saw that there were all sorts of wolves in those cages, she let out a snarling hiss. Her ears went flat, and the fur on her back stood on end. She looked at all of them, wanting more and more to just tear them apart. When she was given permission to do as she must, she stood once more, and padded over toward one of the end cages. She leapt up, onto the top of the cages, and walked along it until she reached a wolf that had a reaction to her. It didn’t take very long for one of the younger wolves to attempt attacking her through the cage. She leapt back down to the floor, still walking on all fours, and carefully unlocked the cage. Then, after the wolf let itself out of the cage, everything seemed to blur. Chelsea could feel herself filling with anger and the desire to kill them all one by one. This first wolf had the unfortunate fate of letting Chelsea discover what anger could do. She used her claws and teeth against the wolf that fought for its life, but as she was fighting, she didn’t even notice the small changes in her form. It was as though the anger was taking over, letting her curse get back through once more. From what used to be cute and cuddly, she now looked like an out-of-control feral beast. She was about the size of a female lion, but her claws were thick and sharp, her snout was long with sharp canine teeth, and her hiss now sounded more like a growling roar. She let out more and more of the abominations, not letting any of them out of her sight until they were dead. At one point, she was surrounded by three older wolves, one of them appearing to be an alpha. She didn’t seem to have any trouble tearing their throats out, making sure to slow them down bit by bit beforehand by using her claws. By the time she felt better and decided to stop killing them, there were only three cages left untouched. The first had a mother and two cubs, the second had two sisters, and the third held a large, possibly rabid wolf. She dragged the corpses out of the way, piling them into two of the empty cages. She would have to clean up the blood later. After she was done moving the corpses, she slowly strutted back over toward each of the remaining cages, walking back and forth while she looked at them as if contemplating what to do with them. She stopped in her tracks in front of the first cage, with the mother and cubs inside it, and then stared at the mother. The cubs started barking and howling, as if trying to get Chelsea’s attention to save their mother. It didn’t seem to do any good, however, because Chelsea ignored them completely, and headed over toward the potions. While she walked, she slowly reverted to her hybrid/kitten form; the form that her grandfather adored. The change was complete by the time she reached the potions, so she leapt up onto the stool, and stirred up a concoction to give to the mother wolf. She hadn’t even noticed yet that Wethrin was watching her. |

Wethrin watched with fascination as his little Chells tore apart wolf after wolf. It was interesting that he didn’t feel scared at all. He knew she was under his control, but at the same time it seemed he hadn’t suppressed her power completely. This led him down a new path of thinking. He had tried his best potions to suppress her powers completely, but somehow they were still there. However it seemed that there was a good amount of influence on the form it took from his experiments even under these extreme conditions. Perhaps he couldn’t fully suppress it, but he certainly was going to force it into a form of his own design before he was done with that power. It excited him that there was still things he had left to change. It made the entire process exciting to see when he would finally have changed everything as far as he could. He was very glad when Chells shifted back into her kitty form near the end and went over to work on a potion. It seemed that his control was exceedingly powerful and it made him happy. He carefully approached her speaking well before he was in range on any attack made from being too high strung. “Very good my dear. You must be feeling better after getting some anger out. I have called some servants up to clean up the mess. Now you can see I told the truth you aren’t weak at all and neither is anyone in our family. I know you need that, however, even though you used mostly your own powers there were still a few signs of your curse in the form. I am sure you can appreciate why I am working to cure all that, so try not to use your true power too much or you may risk spreading the curse again. It probably won't be much longer, but I am sure you and your sister will both be free soon. Maybe only a year or so more. Now then why don’t you tell me what you are mixing up over here? I do enjoy a good experiment.” He smiled a wide grin showing his pleasure at the entire situation. |
