Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own.

In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins.

There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free.

There was not many sounds that could break the silence so far into deep waters. A single gull ever made an attempt and filled the skies with a shrill voice as waves broke their movement gently on the bow of a small transport ship plowing through the water. The raw voices of seamen were a better attempt and the skipper shouted slogans often carried further over the calm waters than any sound made by the bird. Burning rays of sunshine made their way onto the deck, sometimes disappearing behind a stray cloud before continueing the torture of human skin. The slight seabreeze made the salt air feel refreshing to the sailors who worked on the boat, atleast made it comfortable enough to hold out instead of seeking refuge in the shadows as the passengers did.

Well, not all passengers had need for encoolment, there was one who sought the soltitude of the forward deck. He had resigned himself on a pile of empty jute bags and layed there, enjoying the heat of the sun while taking in the busy boatlife. A guitar rested in his arms, his fingers strumming the strings bringing forth a soothing almost nonchalant melody, making the man nearly forget why he had taken the boat in the first place. The man looked reasonable normal, though despite the sweltering heat he wore a long dark jacket and not had bothered to take it off. It caused allot of surprised looks from rough sailors and passengers who almost melted under the pressure of the sun. The jacket was not to be the man's protection against the sun, but to protect him against the people on the boat. The only part that would reveal his identity as a run-away slave would be the burnmark on his left inside wrist, his blood was doing a dragons dance of joy with every sunbeam that caught his skin

A quick motion with his hand brushed a strand of hair from his face before it got placed back on the strings. A invisible shade of purple lighting up in his black hair, the sunlight playing with the colors as they moved in the motion of the wind. The whole image was a pinpoint example of relaxation and calm, unfortunately for the man himself he was busy wrestling with his thoughts, his inner sanctuary a mess and filled with possible leads to follow.

Two days ago, a man had approached him while he passed through the docks, he was a known freelancer and free to rent for those who had the money to pay him. This man had given him a mission, retreaving three packages from different tradeposts and seaports, wich together would make a map of the Astendan Isles. Together the three pieces would reveal the place of a family heirloom, important to the man who had employed him. This boat was taking him to the last piece of the map wich had been located on a remote island, taking up space in the pockets of a local crimeboss. Though not entirely sure of the crimeboss's need for the piece of information or what the heirloom held for value a mission was a mission.

A shout from the captain made him return to earth, leaving his thoughts for what they were and once again playing a melody on the guitar. A few more hours before they'dd reach the island he was heading for, time enough to ponder his comming actions, for now playing the guitar and enjoying the sun was enough.

It must have been a rough patch in the portal or something. Her little trick did not work one bit. She had indeed escaped the forest that some creature had cursed her to, but now she was in the middle of... well, some sort of large, cold body of water. When she had stepped through, she found herself underwater. She had accidentally breathed in, not having expected to be in the middle of the ocean. Luckily, she wasn't actually that far from the surface.

She swam up as quickly as she could, finding the surface a few yards away from a ship. She was struggling with trying to get the water out of her lungs by exhaling. Her six year old body couldn't handle the salt water inside of her. She splashed the water as loudly as she could, soon hearing a man yell out. She could only hope that the yell was to save her. Panic struck her mind as she still couldn't breathe because of the water in her lungs. Soon enough, darkness fell. There was only one hope in the world for her now. If there was one kind soul on that ship, then she'd survive this strange mistake. This was definitely the last time she would try to use a portal.

"How dar.."

His reaction to the loud yell from one of the boatsmen was quickly stopped when Degan noticed the uproar among the other passengers and the lack of interest among them toward his words. Still very much annoyed by the fact they had interupted his guitarplay though also interested in why all eyes were drawn toward the starboardside of the boat he got up from his self proclaimed chair and tried to spot whatever it was they had seen.

It wasn't all that hard, the wild splashing that could be seen in between the gentle waves of the sea were clear enough. Not that far from the boat, not far at all, even close enough that he could see what made the ruckus. It was a child. A curse left his lips while his body started to act on instinct, not at all in the mood to enter the water, most importantly because he was a fire dragon and not all that fond of water. Removing the coat and his shirt with a swift movement while keeping an eye on the child that struggled to keep her head above the surface.

The reaction from some of the other travelers when he undid himself from his shirt brought him back from his impulsive actions. The fire red scales that covered some parts of his body were in plain view, setting off from his skin like black next to white. It'dd have to wait, the kid was priority number one at the moment. Eventhough there was no money to be made or killing to be done, he'dd have his morals and believes, not harming children was one of them. Not letting them drown before his eyes was equal to that aswell.

With a strong jump he launched himself from the deck and dove into the cold water, his already raised temperature because of his racial origin reacted firmly when his body got wrapped by the massive body of water. When he came above he had to gasp for air as it had been pushed from his lungs due to the sudden cooldown. With strong strokes he started to swim toward the child, already gently losing the fight against the water that pulled her down. In little seconds he had arrived at the splashing girl, firmly grabbing her arm and placing it around his neck. Roughly making it known to her that someone had come to save her, though the imminent feeling of not having saved an ordinairy child remained hauting his mind from the moment he had taken her arm.

Luckily he had the strength to keep them both above the waters edge, the child did not weigh much and didn't give him a problem keeping them both able to fill their lungs with air. Though a look at the boat lowered his mood even more, for the only thing he saw was the back of the ship passing them and no ladder thrown out to help them up, leaving them behind in the water with only the two of them. Most likely the cause of the sailors not being charmed by the presence of a dragon on their ship, wich he had so stupidly displayed moments before. Another cuss left his lips Only hope was the island near them, atleast for now..

"hang on kid" he said while he looked at her to see if she had calmed down a little, only to find a pair of dark colored eyes staring into his. Taking her other arm and shifting her on his back he started to swim toward the shore.

She wasn’t entirely sure about what was happening now, but when she felt somebody move her arm over their shoulders, the aided movement seemed to help her keep consciousness. She opened her eyes, looking up at the stranger, who seemed to look at her at the same time. A wave of relief came over her as her body upchucked the water that she accidentally breathed in just moments earlier. It was only water that came up, so the only difference between the waves and the child, was that she was coughing. Her little fingers gripped onto the man’s shoulders, hanging on for dear life. Her coughing didn’t last that long, but when she stopped coughing, she was finally able to catch her breath and concentrate more on hanging onto his shoulders.

His skin felt odd to her, but she wasn’t about to say anything. She was glad that he didn’t change his mind when he saw her eyes. Her eyes barely had any white to them; they were mostly black with a sliver of colour on the edge of each iris, like small crescents. The crescents, though, were very vibrant blue/green, so they kind of made it look like she had no pupils.

His words comforted her greatly when he said ‘hang on kid’. Nobody had ever said that to her before, so she smiled a little bit. She found it pretty strange that the ship was continuing on without them. Perhaps nobody cared to help them. They seemed so busy yelling at each other and walking around the ship, she found it amazing that they even noticed this man had jumped off the ship to save her. She shook her head of those thoughts, turning her attention back to the task at hand. It looked like a long way to go to the island, but if they weren’t going to drown, that seemed to be their only choice. After a bit, she tried kicking her feet a little bit, trying to help him... despite the fact that she had no idea how to swim.

'Why was I not born a waterdragon' The thought only momentarily skipped his thoughts as he felt the cold water press against his body. Though he'dd thank the gods for lending him the strength a dragon had, well if he believed in the gods that is, for it made the swim go allot smoother than it would for a normal human. His body was build up from pure muscle, dragonic muscle.. a thing he had been training for a long time and payed off its hours at the very moment. He felt the little legs of the kid move behind his back, trying to contribute to their travel, a smile formed on his face, he enjoyed being around children even if they carried something born from darkness. They made him forget certain things, made him focus on the now instead of the past, they had the abillity to make him smile.. yes, that was it, they had the gift to make him smile and forget, moments he would treasure.

They had been going for atleast half an hour non-stop when he felt the small paddle behind him slow down, the island had gotten allot closer and he could sometimes hear a bird singing its song from within the jungle, eventhough it was far away, it could be heard. He slowed down untill he came to a complete stop, just for a minute to let his heartrate slow down and fill up on energy before he continued the last part of the swim.

"If you get tired from swimming just say so ok, I dont mind if you just sit the last part out on my back" he said, he turned his head slightly to the right, making sure he could hear her amidst the sound of sea. Her color of her eyes had been playing in his mind for a while now, honestly interested in how her eyes came to be like that. Sure his own eyes had a unnatural color aswell and the patches of red scale were sure to be seen by the kid, though for now he hadn't heared a single thing about it, so he would not say a thing about her eyes. A sort of unspoken agreement on their own secrets you could say untill one of them would open up on there own about it.

After the brief exchange of words he continued the swim, the water grew more shallow and with it a bit warmer as the sun had an easier task warming it than the deep ocean waters. Even little fish could be seen swimming below them, they atleast would strand at an island were they could find food, the first real luck he had all day..

There were a number of things going through her mind right now. For one, she had no idea what her master would take of this. She was probably in for something really painful if she couldn’t figure out where the heck she was. She had never seen this much water in her life, and after this experience, she really didn’t want to spend any time around water. She figured she had spent enough time around water today to last her for another century or two. She had to admit, though, the water felt really good on her skin, despite the cold.

She was indeed starting to get tired, and when he said it was ok to sit on his back, she stopped paddling. “But if I sit on your back, won’t that make it harder for you to keep your head up?” she wondered, still just keeping her hands on his shoulders. She had no idea what it was like for him to try paddling both of them, never mind with her on his back. The child did not weigh enough to make much effect, but she did not realise that, of course. She had heard learned that people give others hugs when they’re thankful for something, so she figured she’d give him a hug once they got to shore. One of her brothers gave her hugs all the time when she would help him draw. It only seemed right.

She could hear all the different animals in the jungles of the island they were headed toward. A couple of the noises make her nervous, but she tried not to worry about it until they actually arrived at the island. There was no use getting nervous about something she didn’t understand. As they neared, she noticed the little fish in the shallow water, and tried catching a couple with one of her hands. She started to notice, that the shoreline was much, much warmer than further out in the water.

When they finally reached the shore where she could stand on the ground herself, without getting swallowed by the water again, Chelsea wasn’t quite sure what to say at first. This man just saved her life, and she had no idea what to say... She was definitely thankful, so, thank you? But, that seemed too simple to show just how thankful she was. Either way, she had to say something. She looked up at him, having to shadow her eyes from the sun reflecting off the water, and said, “I’m Rimmon. Thank you for helping me.”

Seeing as nobody has had to save her life before, she wasn't entirely sure what to say after that, so she left it at what she just said, watching and listening for his reaction to their whole situation now.

The acidification in his muscles was just spreading through his legs when he felt his toes touched in the wet sand beneath him. Small brightly colored fish shot away by even the most minescule movement he made. After he saw the little girl had found her balance on solid ground he took the oppertunity to drop down in the heated sand, his face facing up toward the sky. A deep sigh left his mouth, fatigue, relief and frustration were all equally present and hard to miss.

For a second he got drawn into the blue skies above, clouds playing games with his head and displaying all sorts of shapes as they floated over. Still he layed in the sand, his upperbody drying in the sun and a look of appreciation on his face as he felt the coldness leave his body. As his eyes dropped to the right and looked at the girl next to him she introduced herself and thanked him for his help.

Rimmon.. he said as he came up to a sitting position and seemed to analyze every single letter of her name, "Thats a good name. My name is Degan, Degan leFleur and I am glad I could save you" A honest smile was plastered to his face as he looked at her. He could never have forgiven himself i've he'dd let her drown or abandoned her in the middle of the sea.

"So, I suggest we make a little tour of the island while its still daytime. We can make up camp here at the beach" The sounds from the jungle had once again reminded him they were stranded on most likely a uninhabited island in a cluster of islands that were commonly found in this region. With no idea or information on what kind of liveforms roamed free or what kind of food could be found. Luckily he had some experience with camping and knew enough about surviving to make do while searching for means to get leave in the meanwhile.

A quick glance went over his naked upperbody.. the slave emblem that got burned into his right wrist was in plain sight, something he got a bit nervous about, even if he was on an island surround by miles of water. Let alone the scales that were making it upright impossible to miss his dragon dna. Shaking of his thoughts he came to his feet and wiped of the sand only to come to the conclusion it was impossible to completely succeed in it.
"You are comming with me right?", the girl had stood there, maybe a dazed by the fact he had not asked about her eyes and acted so carefree around her. Something he had chosen to remain silent about untill she would tell, obviously he had his suspicions about her eyes and her origins though not a single hair on his head would dare to leave her alone for it.

This whole situation had to be stressful. She had no idea how she would get back home, but for now, she had to think of what they would have for food. In her demon form, she’d eat anything, but she wasn’t so sure about revealing that just yet. The island was large enough for a few different species to roam around, so she understood she didn’t really have to worry that much about food. Water was abundant, but it was the matter of how salty it was.

When he said Rimmon is a good name, she smiled sweetly. Not even her father would back that up, so it felt nice to have someone compliment her name for once. She simply nodded when he introduced himself, making a mental note to always remember his name. She was pretty good with names, in the experience she’s had. It was amazing how many names she could remember, considering she has met a large number of people and creatures through her years and travels.

She had actually been curious about why he wasn’t asking about her eyes. Not many others bothered to ask or even make a hint that they were curious, because most assumed it showed demonic blood. For once, it would be a good assumption to make, considering both of her parents were demons.
“Yes! I’m going with you!”
She quickly moved her little body over beside him, walking with him easily.

“Do you think there are any caves here?”
She had spent a good portion of her life in Drow caves, so she was quite comfortable with the concept. On this small island though, it was highly doubtful that there would be any caves. Rimmon remained right beside Degan, keeping herself on the thought that he would have the strength to protect them if any creatures decided they deserved to be attacked for trespassing on their territory.

The child’s eyes were constantly moving, making sure to catch every twig and leaf that they passed. She was pretty good at practicing memory, to remember where she’s been already and how to retrace her steps in case she ever needed to. From time to time along their walk, she’d stop momentarily to glance at a certain plant. She didn’t touch anything, she simply looked and smelled it, seeing how much stuff here might be poisonous. Mind you, her bloodline being demon, there wasn’t much that would poison her, other than magic and holy items.

”Have you ever been lost before?” she asked, watching her steps and looking up at him while she waited for his response, curious about what he would say.

They had walked the beach for a while, he enjoyed the sight of white sands and clear blue water washing it away with a gentle motion. Eventhough he had thought it was a fairly small island he came to the conclusion it was slightly larger than he had anticipated, wich increased the chance of human live but also increased the chance of more hostile presences, let alone the fact it could take them a while before anyone would find them.

Rimmon had walked after him, seemingly enjoying herself with all the things there were to be seen. Even with her asumed bloodline he could tell she still was a child, discovering new things as she went. "I think there might be some, around some rocky seacliffs or a mountain for instance. If we find one we'll check if we can go in, it might do perfect as a temporary shelter." he told her after she asked him a question about caves on the island. Sure, it was a possibility, though also very likely it was already used as a house by creatures not made for sharing a house.

After they traded the beach for a more jungle like environment he made sure he became aware of his surroundings, taking in every little movement as they went past trees, bushes and other plants alike, each of them housing other animals some of wich even he hadn't seen one before.

A laugh escaped his mouth after Rimmon asked him if he'dd been lost before. "I am never lost, I just see it as discovering new land and possibilities. That's why I just wander around, go were I want whenever I want." To speak the truth, he never had a specific goal to walk toward, never had family to visit or allot of friends who'm he needed to see. Only for work related cases he traveled to a designated city or town to only wander off again when the job was finished. But this, this was new to him, this time he had a six year old to look after so the carefree attitude had to be tightend a little this time around, for her and his sake.

He wanted to continue his talk about his love for traveling but came to a rather depressing thought before he could start. A cuss hissed from between his lips as he remembered his guitar, wich he had left on the boat when he jumped into the sea to rescue Rimmon. The thought of his travels and one of the trusted parters he carried with him together with his blade had triggered the clue, his means of relaxation had been left behind in the hands of incapable humans. After a few steps he turned around to see Rimmon, who'dd probally have been left wondering why he had trown out the sudded curse. "Sorry about that, I just realised I left my guitar on the ship, wich conviniantly sailed off without us."

Rimmon smiled, “Well, that’s good that you don’t get lost. I wish I could travel more often and learn stuff. I always end up with someone that just bosses me around, no matter where I go.” This didn’t mean she thought Degan was bossy. She was mainly just talking about her former Drow mistress, and current Drow master. Except, with her Drow mistress, she had been much more willing to... help her... with making her magic things.

She was really enjoying herself, her mind filling with just the image of being in a jungle. Her thoughts ceased to exist as they walked, her eyes looking at as much as they could, considering she was still seeing new things. This whole situation was new, and so was Degan (new to her, of course), so questions just kept on building up inside her. She had surely noticed he had dragon blood in him, and wondered if he actually had another form. It would certainly be handy for getting off this island and getting his guitar back if he did have a dragon form, or if he could at least sprout wings. The conversation was successfully avoided until now.

“Can you fly?”
The question came out a lot simpler than she thought it would. She was not affected by his mumbled curses because she had heard a lot worse. She certainly did not like hearing people actually casting curses. That was not something she wanted to experience again, considering one of those curses still lived inside her. She didn’t mind standing still in the middle of the jungle, looking up at him. Even if they were able to return to the ship, she didn’t consider how happy those humans would be to see the pair again. Especially Degan.

Degan casted a smile at her when she spoke of bossy masters and always ending up with the wrong people, a smile saying more than the words he could have said. Telling that he was not one of those people but someone she could trust, she was lucky however, that she was a child. A grown up would have been left to perish in the sea or left behind on the beach without even the slightest hint of help. For him it was his luck he didn't encounter a child in need everyday for it was one of his few weaknesses to have a caring heart toward children, it brought him in trouble many a time when a child interfered in his plans but gave in to it every single time.

Though this time was a bit different, Rimmon had actually already conquered a special place in the few moments they had spent together. Even if she had evil dna running through his vains she remained playfull and childish, with a serieus tone humming beneath her actions, showing she had been through allot more than most of her age.

"Can you fly?"

The question, asked in her enthousiasm and filled with all the innocence it could have been filled with rang through his head as if he were stuck between a copper churchbell. A sigh quietly left his lips as he kept walking onward with Rimmon in his footsteps, his eyes dulled by the thoughts that filled his head. It triggered a few memories of days long long past, born without wings and casted out of his family for his obvious inabillity to fly. It had left him with some deep scars that still acked his soul when the memories came peeking round the corner.

Can't say that I do.. I'm sorry but we'll have to find another way to get off this island" He tried to keep his voice steady to give Rimmon the idea nothing was wrong. He didn't know if it actually worked, if his voice really sounded that strong and without tremor caused by flashbacks of the past. Time would tell if he succeeded..

There weren’t very many ways off of an island. Especially one surround by sea. Several ideas and thoughts started buzzing through her mind, but she would be stumped on how to pursue those ideas, seeing as most of them had something to do with building a boat. There was a lot to consider when building a boat, such as weather that they might face and how to overcome the wind if it got really strong, however her mind wouldn’t think of those things with having no experience around boats. Not to mention building one out of raw material.

She continued following him enthusiastically, noticing their surroundings were generally staying the same, so her interest fell more into Degan, to find out more about him. She wasn’t really one to talk about herself, but she always answered all questions she was asked. She was probably too young still to be able to tell what a good answer was and what a bad answer was, and how her answers might affect others. She couldn’t tell how her questions affected others, either, but she was definitely able to tell if somebody got upset.

“Oh. Okay.” She didn’t want to ask why he couldn’t fly, only because he didn’t explain it on his own. “If you can’t fly, then what can you do?” It was a simple question, not meant to be rude in any way. She knew he had dragon in him, but she couldn’t help but wonder how much of it he had, like if he had another form or could breathe fire or something. She figured, if she was going to be stuck on this island with him, they’d might as well get to know each other. “Like, can you make yourself look like a dragon?” As if she didn’t know the word ‘shapeshift’. She just wasn’t sure if she wanted to use that word or not, so she left it at that.

She would surely talk about herself if he wanted to know more about her, if it would make him more comfortable talking about himself, but she wasn’t so sure if he would actually ask her any questions, so she said straight out “I’ll talk too, if you want.” Considering her other form could be a danger to both of them, he had every right to know about it. She just wasn’t sure how she’d go about wording that. Other than to just say she hasn’t learned how to fully control her other form just yet.

They had to be nearing a open piece of land for the foliage had gently started to thin out, the sound of water could be heared if one listened carefully, maybe a waterfall or a fast moving stream. Atleast it could mean they had found drinkable water, something he would cherish with all his heart. He had seen several animals that could serve as food, though water could be a scarce thing on an island as this. A brief moment he stood still to listen and then headed in the direction of hopefully their camping site.

"I can change into a dragon, just, without wings" he replied to her question. He couln't hold it against her for asking, the scales on his skin were reason enough for him expect them. Though this seemed as a good moment for him to ask her some things about herself especially a question that had been burning his lips since he had jumped off the ship.

"Tell me something Rimmon, how did you end up in the middle of the sea? He had wondered and puzzled about it since the moment he had picked her up in the water. Ok, her eyes were worth some questions aswell but the answer would be fairly obvious, he'dd ask her a bit later. Pushing aside a larger branche and holding it so that Rimmon could pass he saw the clearing he was looking for and with it, the water. A clear water pool with a small waterfall tickled his senses in everyway, this would make a good place for them to sit down and make up camp, atleast for now.

"Are you ok with staying here for a while? I think it'll make a good place to stock up on food and water before we continue..", A swift movement with his hand unclasped the belt that held his sword, wich he thanked himself for forgetting to take it off on the ship, it made surviving a whole lot easier. He made a bowl with the palm of his hand and tasted of the water carefully, no salt water, a smile formed on his face. "We can drink this" he said as he turned his head toward Rimmon.

Ending up in the middle of the sea was not exactly what she had planned. “Oh, it was a teleporting spell that I was trying. It was only supposed to get me to the other side of the room, but there was a picture of the sea on the wall, and it was really, really pretty. I guess the picture was of the sea that’s here. I’m really glad I ended up beside the ship, and not under it.”

She took in a deep breath, continuing to follow him without hesitation. There wasn’t anything in their surroundings that worried her just yet, so she was still in a fairly good mood. Hopefully there wouldn’t be anything around that would cause her to shift her shape without warning. She still wasn’t that experienced with her other form, so she could only hope that Degan would be enough to fend off any creatures that thought they were a threat to their island.

“This place is pretty.” Rimmon said, agreeing that it was a good place to rest. “It’ll really cheer up my feet.” She carefully lay herself down near the water, scooping the water up in her palms to drink it. It took her a while to get the hang of keeping the water in her hands so that it wasn’t just a drop or two once her palm reached her mouth, but once she got used to doing that, she wasn’t thirsty anymore, so she dried off her hands on the ankles of her pants, then lay down on her back, looking up at the dimming sky. “That water is pretty tasty, too.” She said, continuing the conversation. She didn’t want it getting too quiet.

She was really glad that Degan had kindly answered her question. Knowing that this dragon couldn’t fly would never change her opinion of him though. He had already saved her life once, and in her mind, that was enough to earn her trust for a lifetime. Just because he couldn’t fly didn’t mean that he couldn’t do other things, so it gave her no reason to judge. It just made things a little more difficult, when thinking of how to get off this island. Soon, she thought of something else that sparked her curiosity, but Degan had a smile on his face, so she smiled back, enjoying the happy thoughts while they still had them.

"A teleporting spell, at your age? That is a hard spell to cast even for a more experienced spell user" This girl seemed to surprise him with allot of her answers and comments, for a girl of her age to cast a teleportation spell, even if it went to the wrong location, was something he didn't see comming. He stopped drinking the water to look around, not entirely sure of what he was looking for but when his eyes spotted a few branches of dry wood he knew what he needed to do to get through the night without allot of trouble.

"I'm glad you like it, we'll stay here for the night and continue to explore tomorrow morning. I think we deserve to relax a little." He had gotten up to retrieve the branches he spotted earlier, it was never enough to sustain a fire to tomorrow. He ran back to his belt and unsheathed his sword and chopped off some fresh branches from a nearby tree with a firm slash. Atleast now they had enough to feed the fire durning the night. He took a short moment of concentration to gather a flame in the tip of his finger, just enough for it to give the wood a spark, gifting them the comfort of a warm fire. Atleast it should scare off some of the lower predators that would roam the island although he had no idea of what kind of creatures lived here and if they would be intimitated by a fire.

It raised him to another question, the intensive trip had depleted him from allot of energy and he could use some food to replenish it as the water was refreshing but not enough to fill him, he was certain Rimmon would need something to eat aswell. "Are you hungry Rimmon? If you are I'll try and get us some food, something in particular you would like?" He had no idea what he could find in these parts, let alone if he could fulfill the answer to his question but he'dd try his best to supply some meal they could both enjoy. Darkness was creeping up on them so he'dd have to act quickly if he wanted to have a chance to gather food before they needed to rely on the fire to see.
