Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. The excrutiating heat was beating down on her neck all through the flight over the desert. She even had to walk on land for a while because it was cooler there. She was approaching closer and closer to the desert oasis and then she could finally get more water for all of her cantine was empty. While she was flying over she spotted something in the distance. Finally the oasis was there and in her view now she could finally get some supplies. She approached the area with cauthion, keeping a keen eye out for any attackers. She surveyed the area and didnt see any tracks or any other trails of any attackers she knew only trails from more refuges leading into the oasis. The quite loud oasis was becoming larger in view so she went ahead and swooped down landing with sand twirling everywhere from the gusts of her wings. She got there and there was only a many poor refuges scrambling around for food and water. She then went ahead through to get supplies still keeping a keen eye out for anyone ready to punce and attack. Then Cronus noticed a few people standing over on the side quietly waiting for something. She then covered her face to hide herself. Still keeping an eye out for what might happen... |

His eye lids fluttered, sleep took over his body for most of the afternoon. His long walk from the istan city to this cool calm Oasis was hard and long, but worth it in the end. He was tired and rather thirsty, so after he took a very long drink from the crystal cool pond he waddled over to a patch of bright green bushes and plomp down. Taking a deep rest he fell into the dream world. A couple of hours later he awoke to a few noises. For one he heard the sounds of nature, all the local animals and even the swril of dust outside. But he also heard voices, voices from running frantic people. Something was going on but he had no idea what. Grabbing the axe he carried and walking out of his hideing spot he saw a crowd of people standing by the edge of the desert, looking out. Out in the sands was a big sandy cloud, but there was something inside of it. Many of the people looked confused and shocked, but go-ruth was ready to take on anything. Standing a few feet away he saw a lovely lady, her face focused on battle also. You there, little missy. What ya suppose that beast be out there? Ya figure we could rough em up a bit? |

Someone was talking to her so she apprached him closer and started to respond but thought. The beast out there was said to be more powerful than her and she had a great deal of power. "Im sure we could but what is it you want with the beast out there. And ruffing him up is no problem im sure we could take him down." She lied that she thought that they could take them down because she does not know his power he could be a great fighter so she says yes. "I think we should get all the supplys we need before we go and fight something and since this is the only place for miles this is our last chance of surviving in the desert." |
