Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own. In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins. There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. There she was in the old ruins of the monument. Cronus was wandering around the ruins of when that demon attacked and it made her want to know more about the ruins so she kept wandering. The sun was shining and it was mid day and the scorching heat had heated her buckler to the point of almost no use at all. Cronus lifted her wings and fanned herself then covered her head and her buckler so that they both may cool down to the point where the shield is useable and she doesnt get heat stroke. Then she heard something a few rocks chipped off of a broken piece of the monument when she turned and looked at the small amount of depris. She knew someone was here she didnt know what to expect so she readied her sword but continued to wander staying on high alert. |

Gabrielle was simply wandering around the monument looking at all the debris from that day the retched demon ruined the gorgeous monument. He went passed a curved rock and saw an angel. Beautiful as she was she had black wings. This was a sign she was evil. He held onto the rock to lower himself when a piece chipped off then he instantly turned around and ran away to another area far from that spot. Still in view of the previous spot he saw the angel walk to the spot and examine the debris. She unsheathed her sword. "It is so scorching hot" Gabrielle said to himself. He checked his surroundings looking over a ledge to see where she was... |

Cronus was walking around the area where the debris had fallen she kept moving forward picking up a slight trail then she heard a whisper. She moved quietly over to where she heard it then the man looked up and there she was. He looked so surprised and just astonished at the same time. Cronus asked the silly marksman "What are you doing here and why are you sneaking around? She held his sword to his throat lifting his chin upwards. This man is so feeble the fight between us to would be pointless and a waste of energy. However, it would be a great source of practice against a marksman. She consistently waited for him to respond then she repeated the question getting annoyed with his idiocy. |

Shocked... Thats the only word that could explain his reaction to an angel holding a sword to his throat. He waited a minute after she asked him a question then he responded with. "I-I-I'm Gabrielle. G-G-Gabrielle Thames." He stuttered repeatedly out of complete nervousness. "I-I-I'm simply walking around and when i saw you i was worried so i fled from where you were." He wondered if he should make the move of trying to remove the sword from his neck. "Ummm just wondering though but could you remove the sword from my neck its becoming quite an obstruction to me responding to you." He wondered if she would do this or if she thought he simply had a trick or two up his sleve... |

She removed the sword after hearing the feeble man complain and stutter about it. She proceded to remove it but still keep it out. Without him notiving she touched her shield to see if it was still hot and it was but she saw a small pool of water nearby she proceeded to remove the shield and throw it into the water. She didnt care if the man was confused but at least the shield would be cool. "Why are you really here?" she asked. She wondered the many explanations for him being here but none would suffice. She the said "Well i understand not telling me its your business not mine... thats why im going to make you an offer you cant refuse." |

An offer he couldnt refuse... The possibilities of what the offer could be however he knew that the bad side would be death. So its death or the offer. "What is your offer and what is the consequences if i decline your offer?" The possibilities raged through his head but could not come up with a serious ones... |

"The offer is you and I will team up and be the most unstoppable team throughtout Imythess. However if you decline you will face an ufortuanate death." This is a lucky choice for this man but his decision will be known by his next move. She turned and walked away if he follows he chooses to stay but if she rounds this curve and he isnt there he will meet an unfortuanate death. (left topic)

He got up grabbed her shield for she forgot it. He ran up to handed it to her adn said it would be an honor to serve with you. He walked along side her in a chance to become something greater and something Imythess has never seen before... (left topic) |
