Taras
One of the largest nations of Imythess, Taras is the kingdom that takes up most of the Western coast of Imythess.

The capitol of Taras is a large city, set right next to Taras Bay, a place where most foreign goods are imported from the other lands, across the Moonsea. One must be careful of theives in this town, especially in the poorer areas of the city. It has rich neighborhood with large and beautiful houses, a large market, and a slums, a rough part of town...

Includes:
Taras Arena, Taras Library, Taras Inn, The Docks, Bloodseal Tavern.

Other Areas:
The Shore, The Open Moonsea, Astendan Islands, and Pirates Cove.

Cascadia, the Waterfall City
Created around the lake into which the Vistath waterfall flow, Cascadia is a veritable paradise of all things cultural. Art, music, craft...anything that inspires is created and/or traded here. Thousands of the best artisans got their start here and everyone who is anyone in the art community has been here at least once. Cascadia was created when nomadic tribes were banded together under a flag of peace. This flag was raised by a tribal leader named Bernal Fal, who clamied that a god lived behind the waterfall. To quell the many naysayers, he began to perform miracle after miracle in the god's name. Crops grew overnight from barren sand. The sick were healed. The harpies who plagued the area began to fall dead. It was not too long before Bernal was proclaimed king.

The Monument, The Black River and The Broken Strings.

The City of Lanterns
Balefire, also known as the City of Lanterns, has just appeared once more at the edge of Hauntwood Marshes. It has returned from the Shadow Plane, but brought some of the darkness of the Shadow Plane with them.
Balefire is forever to be veiled in darkness, even on the sunniest of days. It is a black spot on the horizen.
The city is known for it's dark reputation and dark magic. Any dark-loving creature can find a home here, where they can be true to their nature.
It is a large city, almost as large as Taras and almost as prosperous, once trading with the indigenous people of the Shadow Plane and once again renewing their trade with the drow and other Underdark creatures due to the multiple tunnels to the Underdark nearby where the city sits.
Balefire is laid out in a haphazard pattern with flowing cornices, ornate pillars, and monstrous statues depicting indigenous creatures of the Shadow Plane.
To hold the almost suffocating darkness back, lanterns are a common thing to see in Balefire. They range from ornate to simple and are hung above every door and inside every house is at least two lanterns, which gives the city a soft glow.

The Purple Lantern Tavern and Gloomwood

The Dark Lands
Deep underground, lays the Dark Lands. No light shines in down here, no breeze is felt. And the creatures that live within the darkness are dangerous and most of the time evil. The tunnels are twisted from the lava that use to flow down there from the Volcano, Therab, but it no longer erupts, so lava no longer flows, except for the very bottom caverns, where lakes of lava can be found. There are large caverns found throughout the many tunnels, large enough to fit what lives in the darkness. There are cities built by the Dark Elves in the larger caverns, the cities built in to the sides of the rock, with large walls built around them. The Dinosaurs ruled this place long before the elves or dwarves and still live there this day, waiting for some pray to come by.

Includes:

The Tunnels, Menzoberranzan, Lith My'athar, Velamas Lake, Obsidian Caverns and Therabess Lake.

The Ruins of an Ancient City
The ruins loom above you, mysterious and dark. What once lived there, one could only guess. It must have been a great civilization, now overtaken by the earth. The stone is white with age and what was once a great tower at the heart of the city stands, a broken edifice. There are no bones or remains of the previous occupants, all taken by animals or simply disappeared. Some claim the ruins are haunted...

Includes:
Cemetary and Cathedral.

Norwood Forest
Enormous trees loom above you, sunlight filtering in through the green canopy above, casting gold and green shadows.

It is both wild and beautiful. Despite the great beauty though, there are always dangers as anywhere in Imythess. Along with friendly dryads and nymphs there are also hungry wolves and hungrier bandits, though they do not hunt for food, but rich passerby. The druids and rangers are at constant war with the bandits.

Includes:
Norwood Village, Norwood Lake, Bandits Camp, Hauntwood Marsh, and Spiderhaunt Woods.

Advanced Boards:
The Deep Woods, Calmonah Forest.

The Village of Kellen
It is a small town on the borders of Debon Plains. The people are friendly and the inn cheery.
You can come to socialize or find supplies for your next adventure.
From a distance, you can see the many small and simple buildings with smoke rising gracefully from the chimneys. It is an altogether welcoming sight.
The people of Kellen have great respect to the horse, as their main means of transportation and combat. Even though the village is altogether peace loving, they are formidable when mounted on one of their great steeds, said to be descended from the horses that wander the Astendan isles.
Horse motifs are prominent amongst their architecture, celtic style horses often found over peoples doorways and the Great Stables is built with horse shaped support arches, holding up the roof.

Includes:
The Green Gryphon Tavern and Inn, Debon Plains, and the Great Stables

Memphian Falls
Centered by large water fall which pours into Richmon Lake. The water here is crystal clear and the sun always seems to shine causing beautiful rainbows at almost all times of the day. It is a series of many falls which connect and intertwine giving them a tall majestic feel. Behind the falls, many beautiful crystals grow, throwing the light in every which direction. Many caves can also be found behind the falls, it is legend that a great crystal is found laying within, though many come out empty handed.

Includes:
Crystal Caves, Richimion Lake, and Underwater Caverns.

The Mountainous North
The farther north you go, the steeper and more difficult travel is. The first mountain range is known as the Gwilikith Mountains. Beneath the mountains is the Deep Cities, the only known dwarven city in Imythess.
Even farther north is the great Dragonspine. These mountains are almost impossible to get over without magical aid, being nearly vertical cliff faces. These mountains are known for the large amount of dragons and the draconic landmarks such as the draconic graveyard and Dragonmount.

Includes:
Gwilikith Mountains, Therab the Volcano, and the Deep City.

Advanced Areas:
Dragonspine Mountains, Dragonmount, and the Draconic Graveyard.

Temple of Unity
This large temple is where all the gods and goddesses meet together and discuss the happenings of the land.
It is located in the center of the Yilat Ruins. It is one enormous room, with a large round table in the center, with the crests of each god and goddess ingraved upon the places where each Divine Leader sits.

The Cathedral of Light
The Debon Plains are known to most as a long walk to nowhere, and thus it can be the perfect selected spot for those troubled by their thoughts. The Cathedral of Light is located far within the plains, visible 1 hour after walking out of Kellen. The Cathedral is shrouded in white light visible in night and day, but not so bright as to hurt. The Cathedral is surrounded by a small village consisting of the Faust clan. The Cathedral itself merely acts as the home of the god and a place of calm and study. The Arenas and rooms are located around the small village for all but the chosen few. The Temple is made of white marble and gold, with stain-glass windows depicting the greatest struggles of the previous gods and pictures of the previous gods themselves.

Temple of Earth
Deep within Norwood Forest lies an ancient oak tree, which has grown higher than any of the other trees in the forest. The branches reach out like protective arms, and the trunk stands sturdy, rooting the plant into the ground’s core. The strong tree has more memories within its bark, giving it a very old, and aged look. However, despite the age of the crooked branches, and weathered bark, this is where the Deity Enelya, has decided to call her home.
There is a staircase wrapping up around the trunk, leading you into a massive temple build within the branches of the tree. Lanterns are strung all through the twigs and leaves, giving a magical affect to the tree, each doorway inviting you in with a wreath of growing vines covering the door frames. There are several arched windows, making the whole place very open, and more intimate with the tree itself. Inside, the place is crawling with animals familiar to trees, and even some that had wondered in through curiosity. There are several plant boxes overgrown with herbs, fruits, and flowers for the picking, caring for, and simple enjoyment.
The Main Hall, Enelya’s Canopy, The Library, The Garden Room, The Thicket

Temple of Swords
As you walk down the streets of Taras you see a three level building made of dark grey and black bricks, just five houses down from the arena, it looks slightly out of place with all the same looking houses around it. As you walk towards the building you can see it is a temple, with it's large pillars about three feet around stretching to the second level, where an outside area attached to the third level began, and from there you see more pillars stretching up until the roof, which is about ten feet tall, and the roof looks quite flat looking, still made of the same bricks as the rest of the temple. From where you stand you can not see how big the temple is.
