Title: Wandering Around

Terrance Callahan - September 9, 2005 01:08 AM (GMT)
It had been a long day, and Terrance was tired, yet very happy. He had finally gotten to the Academy of Magic. He was so very excited. Where he came from, magic was but a thing of fairy-tales and the imagination. That place was, of course, Earth. But I doubt you'd be familiar with it, it's very insignificant, has no magic, and is very self centered.

Terrance was thrilled to be here, at the Academy of Magic, which he had heard about only a few hours previously.

Except that he had no idea what to do. This fact came to him like a wave of sadness. Did he just walk in? Was there an office? Who was in charge, anyway? Did he have to enroll or something? To ponder these thoughts more, he sat down on a bench in an open area, still holding his very important journal.

Master Ace - September 23, 2005 03:57 AM (GMT)
(Sorry, for taking for ever. I hit a serious mental block)
Ace walked into the academy courtyard expecting to have a nice break from his studying inside. He was not surprised that there was someone was in the courtyard, though it was a rare occasion that there was nowadays, he was rather surprised by the other person who was in the courtyard. He seemed human and most likely was, but that wasn't that made him seem so odd. His garb was something that Ace hadn't seen beofore. Prehaps he was a prospective student, either way he definately had some interesting stories to tell by the looks of it.

"Hello. You look a little lost. Is there anything I can help you with?" Ace asked as he walked towards Terrance.

Terrance looked up. "Hm? Uh, yeah, actually, if yu-" Terrance's eyes wandered from the boy's face to his wings. First, Terrance was surprised that he had leathery wings. Then, he was exuberant to discover they were dragon wings! And finally, he was dumbstruck to find that the boy who was talking to him had wings at all. All of these emotion passed over his face, and seemed to mingle into that generic look of someone very shocked, excited, and dumbstruck all at once.

Terrance just sat there, staring, with the look of idiocy on his face. He seemed to have contracted that all-to-common, yet, very-quick-to-pass strain of virus that causes people to speak in one syllable words, like: "Uh," "Um," Ga," "Ah," and "Uhn." Such are the ways of new things.

(My entire post is blabbering... Ug...)

Master Ace - October 21, 2005 06:10 PM (GMT)
Ace was confused at first by the boy's reaction and looked around searching something that could have possibly held the kid dumbfounded, though he quickly came to the conclusion that he was in fact that something. It made sense enough. Ace's appearance would be possibly starting to some that had seen nothing like it before. "Is... Something the matter?" Ace asked, slightly unsure of how to handle the situation.

(And My entire post is a month late....double ug...)

Terrance Callahan - October 28, 2005 02:00 AM (GMT)
Shuffling the idiocy off of his face, Terrance replied, "Hm? Oh, uh, no. Nothing. I was just wondering, um, how the whole academy of magic thing, um worked. Yes." This was amazing, in a freakish kind of way. He had already nearly been attacked by a demon, talked to a god, been guided to a magical academy by some magical zappy knight, and was now asking some kind of dragon guy how the whole academy of magic thing worked! Amazing!

Master Ace - November 6, 2005 04:02 PM (GMT)
Ace was relieved to see the child come back to his senses. "Oh well, you were in the right place at the right time to find out. I am Master Ace. I am a magister here at the academy. Getting into the academy is easy. Lack of students has of course done well to remove the processes of weeding them out. All you really need to do is show up and sign for classes and of course a room if you want one," Ace answered excited that someone had finally decided to join the academy after such a long span of dullness.

Terrance Callahan - November 8, 2005 03:19 AM (GMT)
"Really?" asked Terrance. "You're in charge? You're like, my age." Never had Terrance thought that someone so young could run a school, esspecially a mgaical one. A room, this Master Ace had said. It hit Terrance like a ton of bricks. He had no place to stay. And he had no money. What would he do? Just, act calm, he said to himself. Act like you have actual money. Terrance didn't even know what the currency was in this strange land. "How would I go about signing up for classes, anyway?"

Master Ace - November 24, 2005 04:34 AM (GMT)
Ace nodded silently when Terrance asked if he was really in charge. It was a question that had come up several times before. Atleast there was no harm meant in it this time.

"Well, seeing as you caught my attention I can take care most of the technically work for you. Just tell me what area of magic you'd like to study, or just a broad sweep of all magic, and what time you would like your classes to be. As for the rooms you don't have so much of a choice as they are all about the same," Ace explained holding in the excitement that he would have a student. "Oh, and one more thing, I'll be needing your name," Ace chuckled.
(Sorry it took forever)
