Title: Hunting
Description: [p] Vernon (or invite)

Nariwa Kona - September 3, 2005 02:55 AM (GMT)
Konahomaru was walking through the marsh, the ground making squish sqaush noises as he treaded across. His visage was determined, angered, and very bright. His aura was at its brightest, he was mad. Lightning sparks flew from one tree to another, ricocheting of the ground, and spilling from his eyes.

An event for the ages, Konahomaru had only ever gotten mad once before in his life. When he was sent here by the nameless demon, and had his power taken from him.

But, that no longer mattered. Kona was on the path to purity, and he had a score to settle with a certain rat. A literal dirty rotten rat. Both his lightning blade and his katana drawn, Kona was hunting for Vernon.

Ever since the Kellen incident, Konahomaru had considered Vernon a great threat to Kellen and Taras, and had to be eliminated or imprisoned as soon as possible. Poisoning half a village and helping it to burn to the ground is something not forgivable in Kona's book.

"I know you are here you rotten rodent." He shouted, some small animals scurried away, in every which direction. He had already put most of the marsh into hiding with his light show and lightning bolts. "Come out! Im not finished with your cowardly self! You ran away and ive come to get vengeance for all those innocent people you killed! After you i will go after Zorgn! I wont rest!"

Electricity brimmed the edge of his Lightning Blade. He had become more powerfull since that fight. He was ready to rid Imythess of a terrible scourge, and only the gods would stop him.

(Lightning sparks flew would technically set tree on fire and technically the ground would abosrb rather than reflect the eletricity ;) )
The day was peaceful despite that he knew that there was a black dragon lurking about the swamp that most likely wanted to kill him. He doubted she had taken her loss as a lesson not to mess with him any more. He'd only won by a few lucky shots. He didn't quite have the equipment to properly handle a dragon. Her scent was one he would not forget though it was partially masked by the marshy waters she was always in. He'd merely avoid her till he was ready for that fight.

While he was lazily relaxing in a tree, a new scent came to his nose. It was simmilar to slightly to fire, but accurately simmilar to the breif smell of lightning; however, this smell was not breif and grew gradually stronger. A glance up at the sky confirmed that there were few clouds up in the dark sky, none of which threatned to shower the wworld below with bolts or rain. Apparently there was a visitor for either him or his rival. He'd have to check it out and make sure they had a warm welcome either way. His pets scurried from his bag, taken with them some of the rotten treats inside. Vernon got to his feet and began to pursue the intruder carefull, masking his own spell and making sure to keep far enough that the pursuer would not be able to smell the remaining rotten goods in his bag, though their smell was not too far off of the smell of the marsh in general.

As he got closer he figured the guest was most likely for him. The smell of electricity seemed to be trying to mask was familiar. He couldn't put a name or face on it but it was clearly something not a random sole he had passed on some street, it seemed more familiar than that. Shortly after making the assumtion that the visitor was for him, he soon heard the visitor yell out in what seemed enough to be the top of his lungs. With voice and smell, Vernon quickly conjured a mental image of his intruder. It was none other than that annoying gaurd. He had some to nerve to come here.

He wondered if he could play his cards right and get Munwithurix to help him. She wouldn't do so willingly though and would likely end up attacking him instead or atleast after turning the gaurd into one of her meals. Vernon silently made his way from tree to tree, closed the distance between them. Soon he had the source of the shimmering light within earshot of him. He took this time to let lose of his own aura. A nausiating smell, quickly creep through the air, formaly introducing Vernon. Kona would assualt his sense of sight and he would assault Kona's sense of smell. The gaurd likely wouldn't want to keep fighting him for long.

"If I were truly a coward I would not be coming to you now, would I? Nor would I be making a place with with a black dragon, home, would I?" Vernon laughed. "I suppose if the I were freindly with the black dragon I'd have reason to do both." He stood his ground upon the branch of a tree. The marshy waters quickly got deeper in any direction, save where Kona was coming from. He'd leave a little bit of room for fighting and lot of room for retreating/playing with the gaurd.

(wow, Shame on you for making me make a large post XP)

(lol)
(if you wish fire, fire you shall recive.)

Konahomaru whirled around, turning to see where Vernon was from. That rotten smell assaulted his lungs, burning his chest slightly as he took deep calming breaths. Breathing shortly, or holding his breath, would only give him less air to fight with.

The moist ground soon took the acepting the elctricity, turning the water around him into a pool of electric currents. It started to rain, and lightning was stiking in various places. "Perfect" he said to himself, raising his Lightning Blade.

Konahomaru closed his eyes, and activated the Detect Evil spell. He felt the evil heart of Vernon in a nearby tree, it got stronger and stronger, along with the horrid smell. There. Kona swiped his Lightning Blade and a lightning bolt struck the tree Vernon was standing in, blowing it to pieces and catching the remains on fire.

"You cant stay up there long you vile thing, lest you be burned or you may meet the ground in a hurry." Kona said. He would show no mercy to this wretched creature, if it ment slaying him he would do so.

(.....sometimes I wonder if you read all of my post... In any case mind giving Munwithurix an invite? I want to see things extra spicy. Don't worry she'll likely want to kill Vernon much more than kona...porvided she wasn't lurking in the marshy waters at a bad time and place)

Even with heightened senses Vernon was only able to barely jump out of the tree in time. Perhaps if he had registered the seemingly random swing of the blade as a threat he might have had a little more warning. With far less grace than Vernon would like, he managed to garb hold of a branch of a tree he was jumping back too, rather than plumet into the murky waters which he had decided to avoid for the time being. "Vile? How dare you insult me so! I'm sure you can think of more nausiating word than that," Vernon snickered. No matter the situation, Vernon was always in the mood to run his mouth.
