Title: Foolishly Trapped [p]
Count Flamel - July 6, 2005 05:55 AM (GMT)
Whilst traveling through the treacherous, snowy mountains of the North, Count Flamel was dazed in deep thought of his early and horrible childhood. He was abandoned as a child by his parents, left in the icy lands of the Gwilikith Mountain Range to die. Miraculously, Flamel survived his orphanage in the North by finding a cave with a man, who eventually raised Flamel until, at last, Flamel decided to run away to the South in search of his long lost parents and older brother. It was useless to think of such futile memories of the past as Count Flamel was doing then, but his mind could not stray from these thoughts for some unknown reason.
Count Flamel simply wandered about the mountains without the slightest clue of where he was going, and this was very foolish, for it was that in short time he was attacked by three starving mountain trolls. Instantly, Count Flamel’s clouded mind cleared, and he noticed that he had fallen into, as it appeared to him, an inescapable trap. Flamel could only hope that someone was out there that could help him.

Ace listened to the sound of his boots crunching into the snow. He was looking for a paticular moss that grew in the nearby caves. The cold had only been a bother for a short span of time before he came accustomed to it.
Ace looked up as he thought he heard something large crunching into the snow not too far away from him. Ace walk over to a near by ledge and looked down. He was perplexed by what he saw. It seemed that the Trolls had trapped heavily armored person. He wondered whether the trolls were oddly sharp or if the man was sadly dull. In either case He had to do something. A large ball of ice formed above Ace's hand after a murmured spell. Ace made a swift motion pointing down at the nearest Troll which happened to be the one infront of Flamel. The Troll looked up at Ace, rubbing the side of his head and giving Ace a foul scowl. If the cliff Hadn't given Ace a considerble height over them, they'd have likely attacked have charged at him. "Need a hand?" Ace asked.
(>.< oh dear that's lame)

As he thought about what to do in order to escape or defeat these three giant, ice trolls, Count Flamel saw that their attention transfered from him to another target. Flamel traced the direction of their eyes up to a high, icy cliff behind him. Upon the cliff was a man holding an orb of magical ice. It was as if his wish and hope were fulfilled. Flamel was grateful for it. Thank you.
After hearing that this man was evidently hear to help him, Flamel yelled out his answer: "Quite frankly, yes!" It wasn't often that Count Flamel was in need of help, but when he was ambushed by three giant trolls, it was only obvious.
Quickly changing to attack mode, Count Flamel held out his left hand, and in a flash of brilliant red light, a long whip of fire was conjured. Holding up the lash, Flamel was ready to battle.

Justin looked down from a ridge above Count Flamel, watching the fight. He unsheathed his katana, ready to fight if the other two needed help. It looked like they were winning though, so he sheathed it. He walked over to his pack. Dark was coming on, and he was freezing. His clothes were all damp and he was tired after a day of wondering. He didn't fell like fighting. He got a roll out of his backpack and went back to watch the fight.

(-_- just pretend that ace threw the ice ball thingie. That's what I had meant when I wrote the last one. Apparently the better half of my brain was turned off)
Ace spread his wings and tried to think of a spell that would help out, saving physical attacks as a last resort. His most of hs spells were considerabley less useful due to his state and the fact the creatures were resistant to ice. He could call forth an avalanch but that would defeat the purpose as the armored man would be endangered as well. The best that could safely be done was distract them and try turn them away.
Ace took off into the air, castiing another spell as he flew. A flurry of snowballs came out of nowhere and darted off at the First troll's face. The troll batted at the snowballs that flew towards him. Ace then flew over to the next Trool, but still remembering to keep out it's reach.

Still noticing that the ice trolls were distracted by the other man, Count Flamel knew it was his chance to strike. With a quick snap of his wrist, the fire whip flung in the air towards the closest troll Flamel could see. The whip rapped around the monster’s arm burning it painfully. It yelped as it tried to pull the whip off from his arm, but it was futile. It only burnt the creature’s hands as well. With a strong yank to the cord, the lash pulled tight dragging the ice troll to the ground. As the whip freed itself from the troll’s arm, Count Flamel sought to destroy the creature. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a dozen flaming meteors flew down from the sky directly upon the fallen ice troll in front of Count Flamel.

Ace's attention turned to Flamel as soon as he felt the mystic tingle of magic being conjured. Thankfully, moments afterwards, the other trolls also had their attention in the same direction. The trolls had enough intelligence to know that this was the time to run. They took off as quickly as their bulky yet starved forms would allow. Ace flew down to the ground after noticing that the other two trolls were in the process of fleeing. They wouldn't be recieving trouble from them any time soon, at least from those trolls. "I suppose you didn't quite need help after all," Ace chuckled wondering if the man was safe to approach.
