Ranewen sat next to the Richimon Lake, looking aimlessly down at the waters whilst her familiars and companions played next to her. She had given up the position of being a Goddess of Darkness for a place at the High Council. It was a smart move in her eyes, but left the position open. Whoever had the position next had better be good, or she’d be mad. Well, she’d be involved with the voting, so it wouldn’t really matter. She’d know before anyone else…right? Right… she told herself and looked at the clear, solid-looking water. Sighing, she hummed a little tune and sang some words to herself, a little piece of a large song she would—hopefully—one day finish.
“ Hey there Salinger, What did you do? Just when the world was looking at you To write anything, that meant anything You told us you were through And it's been years since you passed away but I see no plaque, and I see no grave. And I can't help believing, you wanted it that way…” She grinned to herself and sighed contentedly. She leaned back on her elbows, staring at the sky, watching birds fly across it once in a while and chirp, chasing one another happily. She grinned and then lowered her gaze, looking at her white horse. She wondered where her two dragons and winged unicorn were. She shrugged, ignoring the fact that they had gone off once more without telling her. Not like they’d be into any trouble at the moment. It was the middle of the day…
Kioku did not normally make it a habit of traveling during the day. Not because she was a vampire, and dis liked the sun, for she was a Moon Elf, but she just didn't enjoy traveling at Daytime. The sun was not something she enjoyed peering down on her, and she covered herself with her cloak when she did travel during the day -Or even at night. She did not like being Looked upon, much less watched in such close inspection of sorts. She was no Deity, no Higher power, no nothing, she was just....Kioku...Just herself.
The assassin and Necromancer smiled as she glanced down her body at her attire for the day. The Black leather pants fight her tightly and cut down at her hips. Her tight black top pressed against her ample bosom, and cut off before and after her bosoms started and ended. Her smile grew as she layed her eyes upon the hilt of the scimitar belted at her waste. Such beauty it held for the girl, and yet, such beauty she enjoyed peering at. Such beauty it brought to the girls presence and view, and she enjoyed every moment of its presence in blood baths and in sheathed glory.
The Magicks she knew -the three spells as of now- ran across her tongue in scambered whispers, waiting to be used in combat, but she did not wish to be in combat today. The Large scars ran across her shoulder and were easily covered by the large rangers cloak. Her Black hair was carefully braided into two long braids that fell down her back and stopped about her waistband. She did not need to know of her appearance, but she did like to know she was ready for any combatant that would come close to her...She was always ready.
As she moved, she heard the sound of music...A song, perhaps? She needed to know...now. She was always curious about everything, and so, she moved in for the kill. Not really a kill, but she moved in to here. She listened closely to the words, and when she had thought they had ended, she walked from her simple hiding spot. She moved to the woman and then crouched down next to her, staring into the deep pool of water, as well.
"Hello...Hello...Hello....My name is Kioku...And you are?"
Lance had been in a weeping willow above the two girls. He'd been there waiting for hunt when the first one came. Lance was interested in the song she was singing. As the secong girl introduced herself, Lance shot out of the tree, wings spread wide as he glided covering the moon. Pitch blacknees now covered the lake, the sparkeling gone. Then in a matter of second it was back. Lance landed behind Kioku.
"What may I ask are two beautiful woman doing out here at this hour?"
As Lance finished his small introduction, a shrill screech was heard. A larg hunting hawk landed on Lance's right sholder. Lance spun around the hawk hovering. Now Lance had two deadly katanas in his hands. The hawk landed again. Lance would not bring any harm...Unless it was brung to him.
