Title: Unexpected visit

Airie - December 8, 2003 07:01 PM (GMT)
As Ciara made her way through the Norwood Forest, she found herself in place where the forest seemed to grow thicker and somewhat darker than the forest she had just left. Having a little more trouble traveling through the forest, she wondered if it was a good idea to continue on. Sighing heavily and looking back back. I can make it through, this I am sure, but I do not wish to find myself in trouble. Perhaps I should go on, just to see what is out there. At the first sigh of trouble, I will turn back. I shouldn't be to horrid. Slapping her gloves across her thigh she stood and debated for another moment before she continues to weave in and out of the trees, still stopping every so often to touch on the bark of the trees. Humming a turn that she remembered from her mother, she passed through the trees quickly wondering if there was anything that was meant to be seen so far back in the forest.

Clearing passed a tall and old looking tree, she stopped in awe at the sight of the cleared wooded area. A beaming smile crossed her face as she giddly skipped again, twirling as she went and still humming, this time, more upbeat. There were many old and tall trees here, beautiful, simply beautiful. There could not be a more beautiful place in all of Imythess! She wondered if anyone else was near to share the sight with, searching, she found noone. It is like a vision of heaven! There didn't appear to be any woodland creatures nearby either and if there were sprites in this hidden place, they didn't make themselves known.

Oh, I do wish that someone else was here, to perhaps tell me more of this secret place. There has to be some history to such a place where the trees are so tall. It would be a shame if there wasn't. Ciara continued on, still humming, in hopes of finding someone that would know more.

Oppel sat near the middle of a somewhat tall tree overlooking a woman below him. He grabbed hold of the trunk and pulled himself up so that he was now standing straight on a thick branch. Several leaves detached from the branch as he rustle them. He then let go of the truck and jumped forward with one leg. Falling through the air, he prepared himself for impact. He hit the ground with one leg to take most of the force while the other was straight out to balance him along with his hands placed infront of him. It had been a quiet landing, and he noticed that she had not heard him when he turned to check if she had. He stood up and began walking towards the woman. His cloak rustled behind him on the ground with every step he took. As he approached he wondered about why this woman was here. Being the God of Nature, he had noticed that not many made their way to the forest often. It was mostly the elves who already lived deep within.

Her skipping slowed to a walk, the walk slowing to an even slower walk as Ciara seemed to continue on through the beautifully wooded area. Sighly with content, she unclasped her cloak and twirled around for a moment letting it and her long blonde hair fly up in the air and appearing to dance in the wind. Settling herself the best she could, but the beaming smile still remained across her face. She hadn't noticed the man that had leapt from the tree nor did she hear him land. She barely noticed the rustling behind her as she walked on, still stopping every so often to touch the bark of a nearby tree. Finally, she neared what seemed to be one of the tallest trees in the wooded area. Dropping her gloves and her cloak to the ground, she placed her two hands upon the tree, her face glowed, delighted with her find. Leaning closer, she rested her cheek against the cool bark, closing her eyes as the rustling seemed to near her. Thinking nothing of it, she didn't move or open her eyes, only remaining where she was, content with the wooded area that she had found.
