Incubo travels through the thick forest, seeking no adveture, seeking no thrills. As he leans against a large tree he looks up through the massive amount of leaves, one single small ray of light hits his forehead. Anger rising within he trudges along hating the light, hating the good. He stops dead in his tracks and punches hard against a near-by tree, producing nothing but some cuts on his hand. Not feeling any pain, but lessened anger he walks along, blood dripping slowly from his hand along the way. He looks around trying to see if their were any signs of life. Even movement. Their was nothing but the still trees and the leaves on the ground. He started realizing his past... The war between the Demons and the Paladins... 500 centuries ago.......
Much Paladin blood was shed, but even more blood of my brother Demons. We had a stronger army than them, Why we did we lose?! The Leader was slain, the the Captain was held captive and torchered. What stopped us from winning the battle and taking over that realm? He finally decided to sit down against a tree, sorting out his thoughts. Then, it hit him. He realized why they hadn't won, why the Paladins forced the last remaining Demons to flee from "Their realm". They fought with their hearts, not their blades... Maybe I should learn to do the same... "I have no heart," He spat out and got and walked away.

As he walks along, weaponless, armorless, and hopless he sees a dark figure ahead. As he walks towards it, it seems to get further and further away. At what seemed to be a slow walk, started into a sprint to find out what this mystery figure was. After about what seemed an eternity of chasing he sat down against a stump still gazing at the figure. He picked up a few medium sized rocks hoping it would help him in any battles he might find himself in. He also found two roses nearby. He clutched one of the rose's stem in his hand, watching the blood drip from his hand, he took the other and put it in his pocket, hoping it might charm some one he meets. He couldn't afford enemys, not now, not yet...

A slender figure moved the forest with easy, making not a sound as she approached Incubo. Not only had Mirazhe heard him moving through the woods, she could also smell the blood; a thing that bothered her as she was a healer. She had left her waist length chestnut hair free that morning, letting it tangle and wave in the wind though there werent any leaves or twigs to be seen in it. Her skin was a soft, light tan and her golden brown lion tail hung still behind her. Her hazel gaze was fixed on Incubo, curiosity visible in its depths. She had come to a stop a short distance away in the shadows of the trees but after a moment, she stepped forward and into the light flittering down from above. Her wheat colored, kneelength breeches had a light layer of dirt covering them though her baggy green shirt was clean. Neither her boots nor her cloak were anywhere to be seen.

"Are you hurt good sir?" She finally called, her voice held soft.

"Sir?" Mirazhe finally called again after waiting a few minutes.

Demus walked slowly through the area, and saw one creature he knew, and began to smile, but as he was about to do so, he saw the other person, whom he did not.He wanted to wait and see what they would speak about, but he knew that would be wrong of him, and he reluctantly stepped forward and spoke,Hello Mirazha, hes not bothering you is he?Demus smiled knowing that the man wasnt, and that she could handle herself, he was mostly joking.

After many a day he finally... answers? (lol) "Yes yes, I'm ok. Pain is of no concern to me." He stared into the eyes of Mirazhe. She was quite a beautiful woman, even for a human. He suddenly felt... happy. He wasn't familiar with this feeling, so odd yet good. He pulled out the rose from his pocket and handed it to herand bowed lowly. He smiled gently letting his greenish hair blow across is eyes. After a few moments he turned his gaze upon Demus. He looked very strong, one not to be messed with. He bowed yet again lowly to to him as well. "I am Incubo_Mortale, I've travelled far to this place to find hope and understanding of life. This peaceful place seemed suiteable and i hope my appearance was not too disturbing for you. My life has been filled of misery and I'm seeking for... a new life." He was hoping to find new allies to help him. He knew sometime or other the time would come when a duel was needed. he could smell the crisp spring air and awaited their response...

*stares at the silent adventurers* Hello? :blink:

(eep, I tottally forgot about this topic and demus will probably never be able to post, he's that busy.)

Mirazhe looked over at Demus, shaking her head as she chuckled. "Of course not, it is me who is bothering him..." She returned her gaze to Incubo, a small smile appearing as she accepted the rose. Her lion tail flicked back and forth behind her as she tucked the rose behind an ear, not bothered by the thorns.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Incubo, I am Mirazhe and that is Demus... If it is a new life you seek, then Imythess is most definitly the place for it."

For the first time in a ages, Incubo couldn't help but smile too. It was a good feeling, warm and knowing. "So it seems no one is bothering anyone here *chuckle*." Incubo wiped the the blood from his hand sensing she would be a healer. "Yes, Imythess does look like the perfect place to start, tell me, how did you come to be hear?"

Mirazhe looked thoughtful for a moment before she shrugged. "I travel alot and I just happened to find imythess... And since it seems so nice and I have made a number of friends that I would hate to leave behind, I decided to stay here..."

Incubo nodded wisely and said "Well, it looks like I just made a new freind." Incubo smiled again feeling like he already belonged.

Mirazhe smiled back at him before glancing up at the sky. "Want to walk back to the village? They'll be having lunch ready soon."

Incubo nodded. " That would be great. I've worked up a fine appetite." and they both walked off to the village.

Mirazhe paused at a crossroads, glancing down either way. "Actually, we can either go to the Kellen village or the Norwood Village... It's about the same distance from here."

Incubo turned to the path towards Norwood Village and wore a face of disgust "Elves..." he said just barely ellidgable. He turned towards Mirazhe "Let's go to Kellen Village instead. I'd rather, er... travel more then stay in one spot here if you know what i mean." He forced a weak laugh but by the way Mirazhe looked e could tell it didn't work.

Mirazhe acted as though she haddn't noticed, merely nodding instead. "Alright, this way then."

She turned off down the left part of the crossroad, humming cheerfully as she went. "How many people have you met here?" She asked, pausing long enough in her humming to ask it.

"Well so far just one (not including the tag board)," Incubo answered, "Why?"

Mirazhe shrugged, letting her humming trail off once more. "Oh, no reason.. I was just curious..." She trailed off when they came in sight of Kellen.

Mira smiled, "Well that was quick.. Would you like to eat in the tavern?"

"Sure," answered Incubo, looking at the large wooden tavern "Not too crowded either."

Mirazhe nodded then walked inside the tavern with him. She sat down at a random empty table before looking around.

"Normally its crowded at night, when men get off work and come for a drink."
