Title: The Awakening
Description: The new world

Angoles - April 22, 2005 03:07 PM (GMT)
It was a cloudy night, the clouds with a great mystery to them that haunted the souls who dared to wonder these treacherous mountains, it seems they were sent there by somone to guard something of a high importance which was not to go away. Suddenly a powerful wind attacked the clouds like a mother lion attacking her prey to bring home to her cubs, the clouds swirled in great motion as the wind collided with them, the clouds ran away from the wind and area with the wind still chasing the clouds. The full moon was glowing strangely as if it were some eye of a giant cat staring at wilderness beneath its feet, the glow then wrapped itself around a gargoyle that looked to be inside an eternal sleep. Suddenly cracks formed all over the gargoyle intil the stone broke free. He was free at last.

"Muse's curse is gone at last and hopefully she is gone with it too."whispered
Angoles to himself then he stretched his wings as he let a roar to tell Imythess he was back again from his deep sleep. his roar echoed through the valley and slowly faded away. Angoles Then jumped from one of the edges of the mountain and started to soar down the mountain. He looked around just in case a human brought him down. Humans misunderstood Gargoyles, but he was going to make sure that would change eventually so they could live in peace together without anything crazy happening around. I am finally free!

One such human was now striding through the mountains solemnly and silently, his thich cloak shielding him against the wind and the cold; he paused only when he heard the roar, and then only for a moment. He was on his way again; whatever it had been had been in the distance, and was presently of no concern to him. As he rounded a stalagmite of ice and a the base of a small hill, however, he saw the gargoyle - only from the back, but it was enough; he backtracked so quickly that he fell to the ground and lie there staring up at what he was seeing, having no clue what foul beast he'd encountered now.

Angoles - April 26, 2005 03:54 AM (GMT)
As he soared down the mountain across the the ocean of clouds that were still there. As he flew, his eyes saw a small figure on the mountain like a ant on a ant hill, he couldn't leave a witness, if this witness was to tell stories of him, he could be destoyed from rumors this man could spread, his species could be destroyed, and it would be all his fault. The Gargoyle dived from the turbulent chaos of clouds, and headed to Devon going at full speed. Angoles then put his legs out and impacted against the ground leaving a cloud of dust and dirt.

He then panted for a few minutes in agony, "Never do that again."muttered Angoles to himself, he then got up and walked over to Devon on the hard mountain rock, "I have to protect my species, and the first step is befriending you, said Angoles to Terrance as he extended his hand to Devon, "my name is Angoles, whats yours?"Angoles was in a happy Tone, he had just been released from his curse and he was about to make a friend, he had none before the curse.

Devon Marshall - April 26, 2005 05:10 AM (GMT)
The creature spoke English, that much was clear; but the only other thing Devon knew about the - whatever it was - was the name Angoles, which he had just given to Devon. He didn't know if the creature earnestly desired friendship, but he didn't have much of a choice; after all, he didn't know anything about the - creature.

Devon stood slowly and took the - thing's - hand, or claw, or whatever it was, cautiously. Then he pointed to his mouth and shook his head, indicating muteness; he didn't know if Angoles would understand, but he had no other way of conveying the message at the present time. The mountains didn't exactly have a lot of desks with parchment, quill, and ink lying around, after all.

Angoles - April 26, 2005 03:14 PM (GMT)
Angoles was used to verbal communication so what Devon did, he wasn't used to. Lets see, he pointing his mouth, it could stand for his mouth or the ability to speak, the sideways nod could stand for "no", no mouth, of course he has a mouth, no ability to speak, that makes sense.thought Angoles to himself, "You have no ability to speak, does that what it mean?"asked Angoles to Devon, he wasn't sure if he was right or not, but that was his best guess. "Well, lets get you off of this mountain and try to get that no ability to speak healed by a god, but I not sure if thats possible just yet, Lets go to Taras and discuss this in a Inn,"said Angoles to Devon as he picked Devon up and put him on his wings, "hang on tight."Angoles jumped from where he was, and came glided down the mountain and hoping this friend would hang on tight or he would get hurt.

He soared down the mountain the a eagle diving at its prey, he was determined to get to Taras before anyone else saw him, he didn't want to attract attention and start rumors, that could be the end of his species if that happened. "How has Imythess changed over the last 4,000 years, when your in a eternal sleep, you can't see much, wait, you can't speak, once we have some pen and paper, you could answer."said Angoles to Devon, he wasn't used to having someone short of a usual sense or ability, I take my senses and abilities for granted, I'm so lucky.thought Angoles to himself.

Devon Marshall - April 26, 2005 04:10 PM (GMT)
Had Devon not been so terrified at the sudden flight he'd been sent on, he might have enjoyed the sensation of the flight itself; he knew little about Angoles, so he had no reason to trust him. There was an apparent earnestness in his manner and voice, but he looked like he could easily rip Devon apart without second thought; he wasn't about to make Angoles angry, however, and - since it was apparent that he was being earnest - he would at least try to acquaint himself with the - whatever it was. He made a mental note to ask Angoles what exactly he was when he was on solid ground and had a quill in his hand.

Angoles - April 27, 2005 03:07 AM (GMT)
There was a beautiful song in the sky which seemed to want to relax every muscle in Angoles' body, even though he couldn't put his friend in danger, his muscles still relaxed, and his wings stopped. He slowly felt his muscles relax and then his eye muscles relaxed and he fell asleep, but before he fell asleep, he told his friend something, "There are Harpies, when we reach the ground, most of the shock will be absorbed by my body, so you won't get hurt, please, stop them, and plug your ears..."He fell to the ground, it was like falling in a dream, and right when your about to hit the ground, you wake, but that wasn't going to happen for a long, long time.

He hit the ground hard, but most of the shock impact was absorbed by his body, his endurance saved his friend. He then went into a dream, He was falling down, his friend was above him on what looked like glass. He then felt himself swallowed the mighty darkness, he then saw a Giant Female Sun Elf in front of him in a sorceress' robe. "Sorceress, I thought you were dead."yelled Angoles to the women, "Thats were my magic comes in, I made a immortality potion in order to make sure I still have have a influence over you, you are what stops me from having the universe at my finger tips, I'll make you a deal, if you don't make a threatening move to me, I don't attack your friends."said the women to Angoles, "Okay, Sorceress."said Angoles then he fell into the darkness and fell asleep in his dream. It was all up to Devon to fend off the harpies

Devon Marshall - April 27, 2005 04:57 AM (GMT)
He felt only a slight impact when the - when Angoles landed, but he fell as Devon slid off. Then several harpies appeared; he only knew what these creatures were from a book he'd once read. His sword flashing, he killed four of them; the last two backed off, seething but terrified of the magnificent skill and speed procured by Devon. He stepped back toward Angoles, wishing as he often did that he could speak - this time, if for no other reason than to demand he wake from whatever bout of sleep he was in...

Angoles - May 4, 2005 02:37 AM (GMT)
"Devon, take me to the healing hall in Ta..."said Angoles weakly to Devon but couldn't finish the sentence because he fainted. He felt himself go into a dream.

He woke up in a bed in his dream. "We successfully were able to bring back the hero."said a gnome wizard to a Old Gargoyle standing right next to Angoles, "Where am I?"asked Angoles to the Old Gargoyle, "A Time where Humans, Elfs, Dwarfs, Gnomes, Dragons, and Gargoyles live in peace, there is a lot more to explain, but little I can say."said The Old Gargoyle to Angoles.

Later on, Angoles was out of bed, and having dinner with them. "So, lets start with the where? when? why? what? Who? of what you can tell me."said Angoles to them. "Well, You are still in Imythess, its republic has expanded after something we can't tell you. We brought you here to tell you something, and I'm the Mayor of this town and the gnome is The Town Wizard."said the Old Gargoyle to Angoles.

"So could you start about this information you have to tell me?"asked Angoles to The old Gargoyle, "After we send you back, you will have to look for the light of Juvonin, which will bring the Juvoninian Crescant Archangels here to Imythess, but I can't explain to you why you need to get them to Imythess yet."said The Old Gargoyle to Angoles.

A rip in the dream then opened to reveal The Sorceress, "No, I can't let you survive this."said the sorceress as her hand grabbed Angoles and threw him into the empty blackness. Angoles kept falling and falling now into the void of his dream.

Devon Marshall - May 4, 2005 04:41 AM (GMT)
One of the harpies got stupid and surged forward; it was dead before it ever got anywhere near Angoles. The other one snarled and fled; just to make it a clean raid, Devon chased after and killed the last one. Then he sheathed his sword and hurried back to Angoles' side; Angoles muttered something about a healing hall before losing consciousness again. He had no idea what Angoles was talking about, and he started trying to rouse Angoles...
