Meera sighed as she breathed in the strong yet comforting smells of the stable. It had been a long time since she had been here. What seemed like a long time ago, Meera had a job as a stable hand. That had been where she had met Kli, Kore, and Ranewen, all very good friends of hers. She didn't know who she would see today. She didn't even know if any of the stable hands would be here today but she would be able to take care of the horses herself. It would just take longer. She had brought all of her companions with her today to keep her company. Later she hoped to be able to pay attention to her own, but others' came first. She went to the first stall and emptied out the dirty water and let the horse out to graze. When she finished with the first side of stalls, she moved on to the other, sighing she took a second to stand at the head of the stable to look out on the horses she had just set out to pasture. They all seemed content enough and she had already made sure they had proper feed and water so she took time on her horse.
She walked over to Enzo and patted his neck softly. Then she grabbed his mane and swung herself up onto his back. She knew she had to stay around here to keep an eye on the horses in case there were any trouble makers. Instead, she had saved a pasture and galloped Enzo around that for a while. When Meera eventually felt that he had a good workout, she turned to Kalani, who stood anxiously with abundant energy needing to be spent. Meera hopped off Enzo and onto Kalani, who she flew up with. Meera knew she had her own wings but Kalani needed excercise. After a while she touched down and just leaned on Kalani's back peacefully watching the beautiful equines.
