After her long travels through the Gwilikith mountains, Ember wasn't sure if she was going to make it alive. With no magic to her class name, she had passed along a few bloodied areas where she assumed the rumored trolls or orcs had come through only days before. But she wanted to make it just as far as the volcano she had heard so much about in Kellen from the farmers, something about the place was just too enticing to pass by without a short visit.
Following the cavern tunnels through to what she thought to be the center of the volcano. It had grown extremely hot after traveling so deep into the mountains, she was sure she would find the lava pools soon. It was why she had come, she had never seen lava before, but if it was anything like the fire she was so attracted toward, then she was sure she'd enjoy the visit here today.
The faint glow of faerie fire had lit her way through most of the darkened tunnels, until the glow ahead had become more apparent. Stopping long before she could see what the source of the glow was, Ember ran a frail hand back through her long, fiery out-lined, ebony hair. Finally, this has to be it, I can feel it inside. Giving a long anxious sigh while a pleased smile spread over her face, the woman began to run toward the glow. The patting of her leather boots echoing up and down the tunnel.
