Diego sat in the hall way of the dormitories reading a lesson book. He got the book from the academy library and thought it looked interesting. It was a beautiful day outside but he decided that he should begin his reading right then. Diego had a high goal for himself, at least a high one for a nine year old. He would train to become a powerful wizard. The magic arts held Diego’s interest very tightly. He did not want to do anything else for now. He continued to read his book for about two more hours and then wanted to take a break. He stood up and grabbed his bag. He took his spell book to his under arm and tucked it in. He was sad that it did not have many spells in it. The only spell that it contained was the fairy fire spell.

Diego was only across the hall from his dorm room, so he did not have a long ways to go to leave his things in his room. He walked in through the door and set his bag on the bed. It was empty in there. No one roomed with him and he had no decorations on the walls. Diego left the room and walked out of the dormitories. He left for the open grass area. He was walking under the warm sun and found a nice spot to lay on. He flopped down and rested his head on his hands. He took a blade of grass near by and stuck it in his mouth.
