Title: Private Training Session
Description: [p] Zero and Invite only

Kore Takamura - March 25, 2005 03:08 AM (GMT)
*A weeks time had passed between today and the day that he accepted Zero as his apprentice. He spent his week with Varila, making his absence not seem to bad, although not only a day away from her and he missed her dearly. He sat down atop a small boulder in the arena he used mainly to relax. He held his hand out as he sculpted a small fireball into the image of him and her. They danced around gleefully, just as they did during the celebration.

He arrived a few hours early to the place to make sure he could have the entire arena his for three weeks. He had figured with Zero's skill as it was, that three weeks is ample time to sculpt him into a fine warrior. He sat there playing with the flame, waiting for Zero to arrive.*

Zero - March 25, 2005 06:11 PM (GMT)
Zero was told to meet up with Kore at the arena a while back. Zero was ready and was a little happy to start his training now. He knew that Kore would teach him better, and his skill would improve greatly. He began to wonder how long it was going to last. Zero thought it would have tooken up to a few weeks. Maybe a month or so. Zero knew Kore had been waiting for a while now, by telling the time. He thought he had been a little late, but when he started walking towards his destination, it was untill then he saw Kore.

Sorry Im late. I really am! Zero looked at Kore and his hand. He saw two figures dancing. Impressive, but Zero wanted to know what was to be done now.
I will let you start now, so we may begin.

Kore Takamura - March 26, 2005 04:55 PM (GMT)
*At seeing Zero, he made a fist, dousing the fiery figures he had made. Before they disappeared however, they had hugged eachother. He looked up to Zero with a smirk, with a sort of longing for his love barely visible on his face.* "Zero, you're right on time actually, and yes let us get started- its a beautiful day to do so."

*He hopped off the rock and touched both his katana and his sword of chaos, Kilgorin. After a few seconds of thinking, he unstrapped Kilgorin and tossed it to Zero.* "Take good care of her and she'll treat you good. You will be using that blade along with many other weapons during our training, then during the last few weeks you will pick one or two to of them and you will focus your skill and try and see if you can master them."

*Taking out his katana, he turned his head from left to right, the columns in his neck making loud cracking noises.* "Alright Zero, time to see where you stand. Ha!" *He said as he rushed at Zero with his blade, spinning in a quick circle for a horizontal attack.*

Zero - March 27, 2005 01:19 AM (GMT)
Zero had a shocked look on his face when he heard that Kore would lend him his blade of chaos. That was a good thing, and surley Zero would have taken extra care of it. He didnt know what to say to Kore but a kind 'thank you'.
Zero caught the blade that was tossed over to him. He grabbed its sheath with his with his right hand, and quickly unsheathed Kilgorin with his left. Zero turned his attention to Kore and spoke,Kore I dont know what to say to you....but thanks! I appreciate it. And yes I will take real good care of your blade. Thanks Kore! With that being said Zero strapped the sheath to his right side of his waiste and readied himself as he saw Kore making his move already.

Zero saw Kore come at him and Zero was not quite prepared yet, but he knew Kore wasnt going to take it easy on him. Though Zero was no wimp, he was strong and had a good reputation for it. Zero placed the blade of chaos in front him and blocked Kore's first attack that came to him.
So far, so good! That was just the easy part just then.
Zero launched himself in the air as he jumped up and began to fall.
Kilgorin was now swinging straight down at Kore, making an attempt to go for his shoulder.

Kore Takamura - March 27, 2005 04:52 AM (GMT)
"Very good!" *Kore said as he clashed blades with Zero. He had a feeling this was going to be a great way to gauge his new pupil- by pushing him to his limits. He would be watching every move the kid made, then expose the flaws if there were any. The block gave him time to think of what to do next.* "I hope you're ready for what's next."

*Hearing Zero's footsteps as he lifted from the floor, Kore sheathed his blade and rolled on the ground to outside Zero's attacking arm. Barely dodging it, he saw bits of silver hair fall to the ground. Smirking, he went quickly for his demon claws and gripped them tightly. He then quickly thrusted with the claws towards Zero's face. If unopposed, Kore would stop his strike from hitting, but knick Zero's cheek just to leave his mark.*

Zero - March 29, 2005 11:57 PM (GMT)
Zero missed Kore. He saw him roll over to dodge his attack. Zero knew that this wasnt going to be easy fighting some one skilled as Kore. He knew Kore outclassed him in many different ways, but thats one of the reasons he went to Kore in the first place. He needed to get better and do what ever it took to get to that level.

Zero flinched back as he saw claws gripping on Kores hands come to his face.
He may have flinched back, but it wasnt too far to dodge. Kore at least gave Zero a mark on his face. It wasnt bad, just a little bleeding. Heh heh...you got me Kore

Zero ran at Kore with Kilgorin behind his back. Zero attempted to slash horizontaly at Kore as he got there. Really, he knew what to expect. He knew Kore would have dodged this and knew that he saw this coming. But who ever knew? Zero might have gotten a hit.

(OCC:Sorry Kore for the inactivity! *oopsy* I got really busy with school work.)

Kore Takamura - April 1, 2005 02:00 AM (GMT)
*After knicking Zero, Kore spread his legs into a wide stance to prepare for another attack. He wasn't too familiar with Zero's fighting skills and techniques, so he wanted to stay defensive until he found as many openings that he would need to swiftly declare victory.

When Zero came by with the horizontal attack, Kore decided to test his magical arm- see how much force it can withstand. When the blade drew closer, he lifted his magical arm to block the strike. The sword clashed forcefully with his arm, sending harmless black sparks around them. He lowered himself to absorb the hit, but the momentum was too strong for his arm to maintain it's shape. The sword went through it and clanged against his chain mail, sending him reeling back.

Thinking back on his own training, he curled his back so he would roll backwards over the ground. Halfway through the roll, he kicked his legs up in the air, the rest of his body following. Touching ground, he stood with his sword held behind him and figured it'd be his turn to come at Zero, show him what he was made of. He ran at him, crouched low, with only a foot or so between him and the ground.

When he was close enough to Zero, he pushed off of the ground from his crouched position, sending him into the air. On his downfall, his brought the blade from behind him with his hand- his magical hand dispersed from Zero's last attack. His sword came crashing down upon Zero vertically, aimed for his shoulder. He really hoped that Zero would block this, for if hit, it would slice right into him.*

Zero - April 2, 2005 02:18 AM (GMT)
Zero had to admit that Kore was real good at this. He wondered how many years of training he had. It was just amazing seeing Kore's movements. They were fast too. Zero was surprised to see Kore and his other magical hand. After slicing right through it, Zero was surprised he wasnt hurt. That, of course would explain why the hand was just magic.

Zero kept his eyes on Kore and his movements, Zero saw Kore swiftly move towards him in the air. And with all the impact coming down at Zero, especially Kore's body weight falling on him Zero. Zero might have to focus hard on creating a shield to surround him. His other option was to just take all that impact and block the attack with a sword.

Zero placed his sword horizontally across, and held it above his head. He had blocked the attack but Zero's shield activated instinctivley. The shield deflected Kore's attack and Zero just saved his arm just then.

Zero's turn to attack now. And what he did was rush at Kore. Zero began to slide on his rear and one foot in front of him so that he would trip Kore. If this failed, Zero would have Kilgorin ready to strike at Kore's ankles.

(OOC: I think Im getting it back! :D )

Kore Takamura - April 3, 2005 04:55 PM (GMT)
*As he came crashing down upon Zero, he was utterly shocked by the use of non-passive magic in a weapons academy. It made him somewhat irate and his reaction after catching his balance showed it so. He gritted his teeth and regenerated his magical arm. His magic was being drained rapidly for the flurry of spells he had ready for his pupil.--So he wants to use magic? Heh, so be it.-- He thought as he readied his first spell.

Zero was dangerously close with his attack- one that Kore has done himself time and time again, but unlike Zero, Kore knew what to do against something like this. He unleashed his earthquake spell, stomping his foot forcefully into the earth to spark a chain reaction of plate movements at the planet's platelets, causing surges of rising and sinking plots of earth at the academy. One of them had lifted Kore high above where Zero was. He smirked and Held his magical hand out, tensing it, closing it, then opening it, a ball of fire forming in his palm. The fire was tainted black as he shot his hand to the air above him. The fireball screamed outside the academy.

Moments later, boulders the size of both fighters began to fall out of the sky. Kore had long since trained dodging these while fighting under his recent teacher. Kore once again had that sadistic smile across his face which usually came about when he knew he had the advantage, and probably the win. Reaching behind him, he drew his second blade. Now he wielded both a Samurai sword and a Katana, both equally beautiful in their design, both equally deadly in their art.

Kore hopped down the pillar created from the earthquake which just recently subsided. He landed on a shorter pillar, and continued this until he saw Zero faintly. Amidst these boulders, Kore at first got quick glances of his pupil, hoping he was still alive. He didn't know how well Zero was doing, but he had confidence. He continued to follow the pillars until he was about a few yards from Zero. In attempt to catch him off guard, he didn't allow Zero time to notice Kore, and he charged at him with both blades. Catching footing on a small pillar, he pushed off and came in a pincer like motion, one blade attacking near Zero's arm, the other for his waist.*

Zero - April 10, 2005 04:01 AM (GMT)
Things seem to have gotten very confusing when Kore began the earthquake spell. Zero saw the floors move every where and saw Kore move around, but could barely see him. He moved fast and Zero tried to keep an eye on him. He readied himself by holding Kilgorin in his hands ready to strike at Kore, where ever he was coming from. This might have made Kore mad or something because of what Zero did to block his previous attack. Zero looked around more as he saw the floors shake violently and Zero was now standing on a pillar just like Kore was.

Zero could no longer see Kore anymore, he could have been anywhere by now. Zero thought of something. He had to fly up to see what was going on and where Kore had been. He began to lift off the pilar he stood on and then from behind felt a sharp pain on his leg and at the bottom of his arm. Zero flew up a little higher and turned to see Kore behind him with two blades in his hand.
Zero could feel the blood drip down his leg, into his shoe and down his ankles.
His arm was bleeding as well, and the cut came all the way down near his wrist.

Okay..you got me. Zero couldnt give up now. It wasnt appropriate to do so. If he tried to have given up, Kore might have pushed him further and further and not go so easy on him. Even though he wasnt going easy on him now, it could have gotten a little worse.
Zero held Kilgorin tightly, but his other arm wasnt holding on so tight. But he managed. Zero began to charge his way down towards Kore, as he did so, Zero blinked and appeared a few feet behind Kore and charged again. Heading for a strike on the back. Magic it is then, huh...

Kore Takamura - May 1, 2005 04:34 AM (GMT)
*After the jump, Kore smirked knowing he got Zero's blood boiling and running down his leg. One of the pillars was erect high above his head, leaving him no where to land, so he did what he could do and grab his demon claws. With only several feet between the wall and his body, he thrusted foreward with the claws. It sank into the granite and began to rip through it, leaving Kore still falling. After a few moments he finally stopped moving. He dangled there like cattle in a farm waiting for the dragon to devour them.

Not giving up however, he pressed his back against the wall and let go of the claws. Sliding down, he kicked off the wall, landing onto a large plateau. Tumbling once, he got to his feet, both swords were drawn. Seeing Zero in front of him, He knew something was wrong when all he did was fly towards him. Kore knew something was going to happen, but he let it play out. Seeing Zero disappear from in front of him made him shiver, but he instinctively rolled, avoiding the full force of Zero's back slash. Blood trickled down his back to his leg to the ground. Quirking an eyebrow, He looked at Zero and laughed. He slapped his knee with his real hand and dropped his weapons.* "That is enough Zero. This session is over. After going to the infirmary, we will resume our training. I believe it is time that I showed you my art." *Picking up his weapons, he sheathed them all, except for his demon claws which he couldn't reach. Walking towards Zero, he held out his hand to shake it.* "Excellently played, kid. I'll make a fine warrior out of you yet. And that blade you got there....you earned it. Congrats."

Zero - May 2, 2005 12:18 AM (GMT)
Zero imediatley stopped when he heard Kore say that that was enough for today's session. Zero let down his gaurd and stood there with Kilgorin hanging from his hand. He looked at Kore in amazement as he heard him say that the blade Zero held in his hand now belonged to him. Zero never knew it would happen nor did he ever expect something like that from Kore. Zero shook his hand as Kore had his held out. Though Zero was a little speechless, he had a little something to say for the gift. Kore I dont know what to say....Are you sure about this? I mean...if you really insist, then I thank you kindly. And yes, its a nice blade. Probably one of the best blades I ever held.
Thanks Kore.
Zero looked at Kore and smiled. Zero felt like he accomplished much more today after what happened.
