Title: Looking for trouble
Vernon - March 22, 2005 08:15 PM (GMT)
An aroma even more foul than the rotted water plagued th air about Vernon. Vernon found nothing wrong with the stentch as he had lived with it for nearly as long as he could recall. Vernon smiled as he looked up into the sky. It would soon be fully dark. It was at night that Vernon could have the best fun around the swamp or anywhere for that matter. The dreary swamp tormented the unwary vistor with nightmares of their own creation. Vernon liked to take advantage of that. He found pleasure in harassing those who were foolish enough to venture out into the swamp. Most were ignorant and easy to play with.
Vernon was laying lazily upon a thick tree limb and staring lazily into the murky waters below. Occassionaly he would bring the peice of diseased rancid meat to his mouth and take a bite, followed by a smile of satisfaction. A small furry rodent crawled out from the backpack or rotted foods which rested upon Vernon's back and jumped to Veron's back. Ritz ran across the filthy brown shirt that Vernon wore along with an egually filthy pair of brown pants. Ritz stoped when he came to Vernon's shoulder. Mitz made his exit of the bag as well, though the brown bat went out to wander the swamp rather than keep Vernon company.
Vernon sat and Ritz scampered up to the top of Vernon's shoulder. Vernon placed the meat back into his back pack. He took out his slingshot along with a few bullets. He wondered if he would find anything interesting to shot at or rather someone interesting to shoot at.
Kuya - March 22, 2005 10:39 PM (GMT)
Kuya had flown across the Ebon Plains, and to the outskirts of Norwood forest where he ended up at the beginning of the Hauntwood Marshes. He thought he would be alone in this place, away from everyone who looked and shot glances at him terrified and intimidating. After his final angelic change, he was surely a sight to behold, but people no longer knew who he was, and merely a handful of beings had read of the prophecy...his prophecy.
He landed near a covered path with tree limbs and wild green brush sticking out as if all of it were trying to trip him. For a while he thought he was completely alone until he smelled something foul. As if a rotten carcass lay somewhere, being cooked in swamp goo and soup. He tried to walk away from it, but it seemed to be everywhere. He did not scowl nor flinch at the smell though, this angelic form would not allow it.
He realized that he was getting closer and deeper into the smell, instead of walking away from it. But the source would soon be discovered, for the stench was quite strong from where he was standing.
Vernon - March 23, 2005 01:37 AM (GMT)
Vernon leaned against tree as his venomous green eye scaned the area bout him. A malicous grin sparked upon his face as he caught sight of a toad making it's way out of the marsh. Vernon aimed slowly at the toad and then held the sling shot poised to strike for a few seconds, enjoying the idea of holding the creatures fate in his fingertips. Finally Vernon fired, striking the toad in the middle of his back. Vernon enjoyed hearing the sizzling of the acid wearing away alll remnence of the creatures. After a few seconds only a few partially acid-eaten bones were left.
Vernon began to search for something esle, but vernon paused hearing a noise so familair to himself. A rustling through the brush. It was some one wandering into his marsh. Vernon would be darned if he missed the chance to pester the person or maybe even groub of people. Vernon silently made his way from limb to limb. The Person was moving in the oppostie direction, but not very fast. Vernon was very curios as to what it was he was looking at when he found the cause of the noise. Whoever the person was Vernon was sure he didn't like him, struting about like he owned the place. Vernon would teach him a lesson that the man would never forget.
Vernon stood over his prey now, examining him further. "Who the heck do you thing you are defiling these grounds with your very precense?" Vernon boomed to Kuya. The angel did not look like one who intimidated easily, but Vernon didn't mind a little confrontation as it seemed the angel would be likely to give. The angel looked tough, but Vernon doubted he was a match for himself.
Anexia - March 23, 2005 02:10 AM (GMT)
No matter how far Anexia was from a city, she doubted herself. She didnt think she'd make her way out of this wicked place. But beyond that, it was too smelly and dirty. Trying to avoid walking through the swampy water Anexia flew over the dirty water. One thing was for sure, is that she could no longer stand it there anymore. She had almost bursted in tears and blow out her lungs, crying for help.
There was no point in doing so anyways. She didnt think any help would be around at such a place like this. It was pretty much a dead place to her. Feeling a little paranoid, Anexia looked back a couple of times. She didnt trust the place as much because of how silent it was. For all she knew, anyone could be lurking around. So she kept wary of the things that surrounded her. The environment she was in was wrong and mean. She could not see how anyone could have made it in the marshes for at least a few hours.
Flying over the swampy greenish water Anexia's nose began to sting and the horrible stench she sensed just didnt make it. It was disgusting and she wondered what in the heck was that smell. She had almost passed out and fell in the water. But she made sure that she would not pass out. It was too dangerous. Especially since she was just paranoid. Anexia rapidly flapped her wings. She tried to escape the smell. But she just couldnt. It was too strong. As she made her way through the swamp trying to live it up, she encountered two. An angel and a rat. She guessed that it was the rat that smelled so worse. She was too surprised to see a tall rat standing there provoking the angel.
Eww..what is that smell! Take a bath someone please! My nose burns now. How sad. Anexia didnt know who was it that smelled. But this wasnt the case anymore. By the looks of it she could tell that some one was going to throw down a fight. This eventually got interesting. She would have to join in. For now the angel was her enemy. The rat, she had no problem. Only that the fact that he smelled bad. But that she hopefully would have overcome.
Right now, she stood there looking at the two as she hovered over the swampy water.
Kuya - March 24, 2005 01:51 AM (GMT)
Kuya looked down at the rat and smiled. He had never seen a creature like him before. He seemed to not care who he was speaking too, like a little brat. Kuya was not in the mood for sweet introductions. "Excuse me sir, but how am I defiling these grounds? They do not seem my type. The smell caught my attention." he looked around and saw the rotting meat near by the tree. I see, so thats where it was coming from... Kuya said to himself.
Though Kuya was more than eager to teach this being a few lessons in manners, he concluded that it would be a waste of his time, but he decided if the rat got in his way, or give him signs of disrespect, something would be let loose...What am I thinking?! Kuya thought. He had never thought like this before, he was known to be patient and understanding in his past form, but this new body had truly part a mind of its own.
Kuya nodded and walked away, he soon sensed another being near by though. But decided to keep walking unworried. He was getting too cocky, he blamed it all in the blasted evolution. It was as if the prescence of another being was not important to him, as if it didnt matter and that he shouldn't find out what it is. A snake got in his path, it was a big fellow. It showed off it's poisonous fangs and striked hoping for a nice meal. Kuya's bottom left hand reflexively grabbed the serpent's neck and broke it and through it aside. After a few minutes the dead animal was attracting ants and other decomposers to the area...
Vernon - March 25, 2005 03:59 AM (GMT)
The man had replied to Vernon, but walked off before even waiting for a reply. Vernon stood there bedazzled that he would be treateed this way. In the marsh of all places. HIS Marshes. Vernon's ears heard the flapping of wings and the babbling of an angel, but he did not listen to those sounds. He was too shocked to notice. When Vernon came to his senses anger flashed in his venomous green eyes. Ritz looked from Kuya to Vernon and quickly scampered back into Vernon's backpack. Vernon readied a normal bullet upon his slingshot, almost not caring if he did pick up an acidic bullet. He aimed quickly for the back of Kuya's head. Vernon fired the bullet and then quickly moved on to yelling at the angel. "Who do you think you are to speak to the master of these marshes that way? Who do you think you are to treat the Master of these marshes that way? You do NOT walk off when I am talking to you. Or perhaps you merely do this because you are willing to welcome your own death. If that is the case, then I would be more than pleased to guide you to oblivion," Vernon yelled. He was duely annoyed with the angel and wouldn't mind letting his hands do more talking that his mouth which was a very rare occassion to say the least.
Anexia - March 25, 2005 10:32 PM (GMT)
Too much bickering going on in the marshes, Anexia was enjoying herself as she heard Vernon talk to Kuya rudley. It was fun to just listen at what he had to say.
She began to look closley at Vernon, she noticed him get his slingshot ready as well as a bullet. It was getting exciting just watching already. Anexia had to step in and do something. She didnt like it when she just watched fun, and her knowing she could also do more to shake things up a bit. The angel she saw acted all mighty and as if he were too powerful for anything that stood in his way. Anexia laughed at this for a moment but she got serious for now. She carefully flipped out her poison blade from its sheath.
Anexia went up to the stupid angel that pretended he was some god. She was at some distance from him. Anexia held out her poison blade and pointed it at the man. She struggled in holding her blade right but she managed. She could only imagine how this would have turned out to be. Tee hee! You cant escape Mr. Angel! I wont let it happen. Neither would that rat over there! Heh....
Anexia was ready for a fight with this angel person. She couldnt stand how he was. It seemed too retarded to go in and walk like your all "God-like".
Though it was very funny. She hoped that the rat would cooperate with her since they were both against the angel.
