Title: Mountain Fight [P]
Description: Vernon

Zero - March 19, 2005 07:07 PM (GMT)
Zero had now been in Dragon spine mountains for a little over a week now.
He could not return home, not after all the hard work he'd put in to himself so far.
He took a rest on the path up the mountain. Sweat covered his shirt he wore and his hair began to be soaked with water every now and then. It was fun while it lasted. But Zero intended to stay longer and train more. He trained to improve his pryo magic. It had gotten stronger, he improved greatly. There were somtimes where he'd get frustraited and go out of control with the fire. He once had almost blown up a cave he was in. All because of anger that was filled within him.

Later that day Zero had gotten out of control. He was training but got out of hand and hoped that no one approached the exact spot Zero was in. He summoned a large pillar of hot flames and previously summoned his elemental. It got out of control already and Ace might have told him that he over did it or that was just too much. A loud boom could be heard miles away as a big explosion was made by both Zero and Darunia. Its all they did was play with fire, and it got dangerous. Zero's arms would have fallen apart if he didnt avoid the explosion.

But later in that day. That time had already passed and Zero was exhausted from training. But he began to hear strange things. It could have been trouble. Or maybe a fight for Zero once again. What ever it was Zero hoped that it wasnt another fight. Because he already planned to go home now and rest.
He kept going to check out what it was.

Sorry for how crappy it was but when I make the first post it always ends up that way. Anyway, ready to fight? :D

Vernon - March 19, 2005 10:20 PM (GMT)
(I got carreid away :P )
Vernon's loney wanderings had lead him to Dragon spine mountains. Vernon didn't quite like it, but he did have his reasons for being here. He was going to steal a strange golden bauble from a dragon here. It was going to fetch for a load of gold. Vernon was given a map for the job and had been following it for some time now. It would not be long before Vernon came across the Dragon's cave. Vernon ignored the loud expolsion, though was courious as to why the loud sound violated his sensitive ears in the first place. Vernon decided that it might be safer to go the rest of the way in the form or a rat, so that he did not have his unmistakable scent or an easily seen size. Vernon scampered into the cave when he finally came across it. Vernon weaved his way through the large tunnel of the cave till he found the Dragon's unprotected hoard. Not knowing of the fine sense of smell dragon's had, Vernon returned to his normal form as he searched for the bauble.

Soon Vernon found a golden sphere meeting the description of the bauble he was to get, but it of course not the only thing vernon had plundered from the dragon's large hoarde of riches. Vernon quickly ran out of the cave. Vernon's ear's recovered from the previous explosion in time to hear the sound of of flapping wings followed by an angery roar, upon which Vernon brought his pace to a sprint. Vernon's eyes darted around looking for anything to help him out of this situation. Upon falling a small cave he quickly ran inside. Vernon turned around when he felt he was out of the dragon's reach. The large red dragon landed near by and the earth around them shook. The dragon's head moved over the small cave and put it's eye up to it to look for the theif. Vernon had swiftly pulled out his slingshot and fired it when the Dragon's eye covered the the hole. The dragon reeleed back clutching his eye and screaming in pain. Vernon was about to break out into laughter, but tookk a total change in mood when heard the dragon inhaling. Vernon swiftly ran down the tunnel and turned into another tunnel, before the dragon's firey breath consumed him. Vernon could feel sweat form on his body as the the blazing rushed by, unable to get into the tunnel he was in. Vernon was sure he would have to brag about this day to some one. Vernon continued down the tunnel he was in. He would be happy to see anything aside from a dragon at the moment.

Zero - March 20, 2005 01:23 AM (GMT)
Zero heard the dragon roar out loud. He could tell that it wasnt very happy at all. Someone had came back and disturbed it. Zero didnt know who though. He turned around and checked behind him to make sure no one was there. He looked back that the dragon, and it seemed to be blind on one of its eye. The poor dragon was in pain. If there was anything Zero could have done to help he would have done so but it was just the fact that he had just gotten in a fight with it. He couldnt turn around and help it out. It might have struck at him. It was risky task and too dangerous. If anything Zero had to search and find the fool who did this. Obviously it was some idiot that didnt know how dangerous a dragon was.

Zero saw a cave so small, but enough for him to keep safe. He began to fly but he could have ran. It was just faster flying than runnning. When he got there he found a rat. A stupid mischevious wererat. Soon Zero would begin to interogate the rat, and it would not have been very nice to be at. The only thing they could have done now was stay in there. But like most other idiots, this rat might have fought back than rather stay in there until the dragon left.
What did you DO! Are you dumb!!?? Zero's eyes lit up, and wanted to explode on the rat. Where'd you come from? Answer me! Are you blind? Do you not know how much danger you just put me and yourself in?? Zero rolled his eyes and attempted to grab the rat by his top and began to lift him up. This angered Zero and his hands began to get extremely hot.
It didnt take Zero that long at all, but he noticed somthing. A foul smell came to his nose and it was horrible. The rat hadnt bathed in days, possibly years.
You bathe? You smell like a crap! Zero didnt care to sound rude right now at the moment. He was still mad at this idiot here. But he could no longer take it. The smell caught him and it smelled very bad! He could no longer know what to do, but get away from him. Zero felt like beating him up. Though Zero was no bully, he would not intend to do so.

Vernon - March 20, 2005 06:14 PM (GMT)
Vernon stoped when he heard the sound of wings flapping in the cave. Vernon knew it wasn't the dragon, he was to big. Perhaps the dragon had some minion of his own. Vernon turned around ready strike with his daggers if needed. Vernon was surprised to see a foolish angel fly in and was even more surprised by what the fool said. The foolish angel was not making any sense. Perhaps he was after the bauble as well, though Vernon failed to see where that would put himself at any more risk. Vernon swiftly stepped back as Zero attempted to grab the top of his shirt. The angel must have really wanted if he was so quick to come after him almost seconds after a dragon tried to incenerate Vernon.

"Look here, kid. I don't care about your own problems If you couldn't find what you meant to steal it's your own fault. Why the hell did you come after me like your the freakin god of the universe? Why the hell should I answer to you? I'd think you'd better answer to me before I clip your precious wings and peel off your pretty face," Vernon yelled back at Zero. His words were followed by the grating sound of Vernon's poision blade leaving it's sheath. Vernon was too surprised to know what to think of the fool. He knew whoever the moron was, he needed to be taught a lesson and Vernon would not mind being the one to teach it to him. "What is your problem, Are you trying to pick yourself, cause if so you were foolish enough to come to the right place," Vernon smiled malevolently.

Zero - March 20, 2005 09:57 PM (GMT)
Kid? Zero seemed like no kid. In fact he was no kid, thats for sure. And somthing about stealing somthing. Zero had no clue what he spoke of. But eventually find out what went on between him and the dragon. The way Vernon talked to Zero was unacceptable. Rude, mean, cruel, and harsh, Zero was insulted.
He began to watch Vernons movements and saw his Poison blade flilp out of its sheath. If this was a fight that this rat wanted then Zero didnt hesitate to sheath out his own blade as well. But the way the rat spoke to Zero was too obvious that the rat had hidden somthing. Zero intended to find out sooner or later. Either way, Zero was at Dragon Spine for certain reasons and the next thing, a fight comes up and Zero still exhausted. But then Zero forgot about a little somthing though.
He just remembered that if this fight would have gotten any bigger, he still had his dragon call up. He remembers how he got the dragon too. It was a long story, but right now Zero needed to keep his gaurd.

Zero's fire scimitar flipped out of its sheath and attempted to hold it against Vernons throat. The blade was not ignited just yet. But eventually it would have gotten hotter and hotter by the second. Lets get one thing straight here! First of all, you dont talk to me that way! Second of all, you are extremely underestamating me. And third of all, you are very immature. Grow up for a start!
Zero almost had his scimitar held against him, and really felt like having his blade catch fire at will. But Zero waited. He waited untill this fight actually started.
Though, for being in there just for even a few seconds the place started to smell very bad. It was like Vernon was covered in puke thats been there for half a month. It was discusting but it didnt stop Zero from fighting.

In the background of all this Zero kept on hearing the dragon that Vernon was toying with. It was a very stupid of Vernon to do, but of course, just by looking at the rat, it seemed as if he had no brains at all. Zero heard the dragon still raoring and trying to find out who did this to him. The dragon was only blind on the one eye, so it was a little difficult to spot them. But then again, it could have always sniffed them out. Zero hoped that the dragon didnt find them because if it did, then it meant trouble for the both of them. Eventually it would end up with the two fighting the dragon instead of fighting each other. Zero could hear the dragon flap its wings so violently and crying for help. But Zero couldnt do anything at the moment. Not in this situation. But it made Zero feel worse just hearing out the dragon yell for help.

Vernon - March 21, 2005 03:24 AM (GMT)
Vernon did not understand why this man was standing if front of him in the first place. Then the fool tried to turn Vernon's own game against him. Vernon would not stand for this. What's worse was the fool was repeating not only himself but Vernon. The man tried to bring his sword towards Vernon, but Vernon took another step back and was out of the sword's reach. The man was definately cocky. He didn't like cocky people, save himself. He definately didn't like this foolish angel. He was even worse than the annoying Eden he had met in the woods who thought he was some prestigous something or other.

Perhaps if Vernon beat around the man's head enough he might be able to get through the angel's dense skull. It was appaerent that words would not get to this fool, but it was always worth a shot. "Listen here, you oversized brat. I think if anything I've over estimated you. Now scram before have to make your face into something no one in their right mind would want to see," Vernon yelled in reply.

Vernon was pleased to here the whining of the dragon. It meant that Vernon would know where the dragon was. Vernon just hoped the dragon could not find his way into the tunnels, course the tunnel were still too small for the dragon to fit in. Vernon was still curious as to why the angel was here, but he guessed that zero was out to steal some of the dragon's treasure as well. It was the best sense Vernon could make of it. The fool was likely after the bauble as the other trinkets Vernon had stolen seemed more or less unworthy of a unique name.

Zero - March 24, 2005 04:42 AM (GMT)
Zero got angered even more. He couldnt let this get in his way. The rat was talking dumb. He was being an idiot just then. If he thought talking was going to get him any further, then he was wrong. Very wrong. It didnt really work on Zero if thats what he was intending to do. Instead of talking back to him Zero decided on doing somthing else. He wasnt going to lower himself in the rats position though. Not in his level of stupidity and idiocy. But what Zero was going to do was actually fight him. He wanted to see if his body could do more work than what his blabbering mouth did. Zero doubted Vernon at the moment. But he didnt underestimate him.

Zero made a fist so firm and hard that fire began to grow within. Zero let out his palm and a ball of fire rapidly appeared hovering over his hand. He planned on launching the ball towards Vernon and possibly do more than just that. As the ball rushed through, to take on Vernon, Zero also sprinted himself in a reasonable pace to diagnally slash at Vernon at his waiste. Vernon now had two issues to take care of for himself now. The ball of flames that Zero launched at him, and Zero, himself. Are you going to sit there and open your big mouth forever? Or are you going to fight me? Please dont be a wimp and say your going to blab on forever! Your just going to get yourself closer to death! Zero planned on fighting to the death. He would not give up at any circumstances.

No longer was Zero worried about the dragon. As long as Zero stayed active, there was no need for Vernon to do idiotic things again. Hopefully he did have a mind and not provoke the dragon once more. But for now, this became personal! Zero would end up slaughtering Vernon at all cause.

((Sorry if it got a little lame, I could barley think of somthing...but at least I am happy writers block went away...sorta. :/ ))

Vernon - March 24, 2005 11:00 PM (GMT)
Vernon's right hand moved away from his light blade and picked up a dagger from his side. Vernon stepped back again as he saw the Zero casting a spell. It did not take much thought to guess what he meant to do with the growing ball of fire over his hand. Vernon readied himself for Zero to throw the ball and was not very surprised to see Zero close in after the projectile. It would hve been a nice waste of time otherwise. Vernon deflected the fire ball back to zero with the flat part of his shadow dagger. He could feel the heat of the flames allowed almost too close to Vernon's fur. Vernon's poisoned blade quickly clashed with Zero's fire scimtar in Vernon's attempt to protect himself. Vernon had his right hand free if Zero attempted to cast anouther spell. "I'm assuming you think that you are the one to kill me. The last one who assumed that died a nasty death. Though it shall be nothing in comparison to what I will do to you," Vernon snickered. He had no intention of ensuring the boy's death. He was not quite in the mood, though the man had insulted and attacked him for no apparent reason. The poison would likely kill the angel though, as Vernon made off to get his payment for the bauble.

(Short and sweet)

Zero - March 25, 2005 07:04 PM (GMT)
ENOUGH!!! Zero roared in anger. He didnt know what to do anymore with the smelly rat. It was too disgusting just standing there, knowing that the smell entered his nose. He could no longer take it. A shield appeared around Zero's body just incase Vernon tried anything. Zero then sheathed in his blade and had an idea. He wanted to also take this fight some place else.
The tunnel they were in was a little dangerous. Especially when a crazed dragon was near by trying to kill the both of them. But Zero was not too far from the outside. He was near the entrance of the tunnel. There on the edge of the cliff he saw a vast forest. That would be a good spot to handle this situation. But Zero needed to figure out how to get passed the dragon.

Im taking this fight some place else! Its too dangerous here and its too risky, not only that but your life and as well as mine is at risk. If we stay here too long, god knows what would happen to us! Especially when you have a pissed off dragon trying to kill us! Zero began to point his index finger to the forest he saw below the cliff. Do you see that forest down below the cliff just then. Thats where I need you to be at so we may settle this. Agreed?
Really Zero gave him no choice. He had to go, whether Vernon liked it or not.
Now then, all we need to do is find a way to get down there. Either we work together, or we go our seprate ways then. Your choice, but I can easily fly down there.
If they were to go down in their seprate ways then, Zero wondered what Vernons plan was to get down to the forest. Zero guessed that it was Norwood they looked down at. But for now they had to get out of Dragon Spine!
