Title: Finding ones self
Description: From Nothing
Drakeon Kavu Alexander - March 13, 2005 12:57 AM (GMT)
Drakeon was fully restored to his new self, he had cleaned himself up, and found what information he needed about this new world, but his first atemt was to see waht the Drow were up to. He was an outcast amung most living creatues, save it be evil ones anyways, so he made no contact beyond what was needed till he reached the tunnels. He had moved quickly, evading all he passed. It was a lot easier becasue his slate was now clean to the outside world...or so it was so far in his journey.
Safely withing the tunnels he made his way down, taking the side paths, but not the dangerous ones jsut yet, he had to need for them. He exspected it to be a quite journey, clining to shadows if anyone passed by. Mostly the drow who were acustomed to living near the serface, but he still dodged them.
A short disatnace from the city the tunnel was very well lighted. He hesitated but moved on knowing he would have to. His silver hair an currently dark eyes were not so bad, but his pale stature like face was. Someone was coming around the bend of teh tunneles, and he could not evade it. He siged and walked on, like he had been walking the Dwarven made Drow tunnels for a long time, they were just about to turn the bend...

Zeria, as usual, had no clue as to where she was or why she was here in the first place. She was, as usual, simply lost. The only comfort she had was knowing that her familiar was just beside her. The wolf, Xandarick was somewhat larger than other wolves of his kind. Why exactly, Zeria had never found out. Not that it mattered, for all Zeria really cared about was the fact that the wolf was there. He had been lost for a long time, and just recently the girl had found him. Mercury eyes scanning the tunnels ahead, Zeria allowed her thoughts to scatter as they usually did. Her past was lost to her; all she knew was her name. She didn't know that she was not completly human, how was she to know? Her eyes were the only thing that gave her away as being something else, at least in part. But she didn't know anything about that.
She hadn't come across a living soul in this palce. No drow, no human, barely even one of those creatures said to lurk in the shadows. It was just Zeria and the wolf. Both walked with soft footsteps. Zeria because it was simply her usual gait, and the wolf because he was being cautious. Suddenly, the wolf stopped, and gave off a low growl that Zeria knew could only mean one thing. The canine had sensed something, or someone. But where they were or even what they were, Zeria didn't know. Instictively, a hand went to her scimitar, Althaol. And though she didn't draw it, she continued walking. The wolf quick to get in front of her as they turned the bend, Zeria tightened her grip on the sword's hilt and stopped as soon as she saw the other person.

(o.o.c wow Sorry bout the grammer above..its my weakness IC)
I.C.
His own life was bleak as well, with him memories shady. It was very odd, for vampires usualy had perfect memory. He did not, but he basicly knew why, he exile for one, may have coused it, na dhe was not the avarage vmapire either. His own kind did not like him unless he was more powerfull than they. Tipical of the ones he use to be with, now mostly dead. He heard an animal beyond before he heard the other person, but his hand stayed to the side, passive till the last moment in this case. He knew she was not a regular human girl as soon as he saw her. He was a mix of his own, and she walked like she was not to sure of herself, he past, her body languadge was not anything like an angel, if that is what she was part. He was not sure, and did not want to press, for reasones he oculd guesse would be harsh, or like his...not remembered to well, if at all. He kept an eye on the dog...noteing its larger size as well. He wished his Moor Cat was still alive. Oversized magical panthers, one could say. But he did not. He did not stop walking towards them till he was a lot closer to see if they would keep going, but he kept his hands far from his hilt, and kept a passive yet firm look about his face.
They had stopped.
So now he would have to speak with them. "Did I startle your, gaurdian?" He said, not sure exactly how to engadge speaking just yet. His eyes glowed, and he tryed to convay calmness on her pet and her, in case they thought him hostile. He kept his eyes on hers...they were strange. Silvery. He frowned on the inside. HTis from her scare. He felt greatly torn as to how it happend. Was she cast out like nothing as well? Down in this hole with the drows, it coul dbe anything. A ripple in time withing a second showed the campassion he felt, but it was quickly hidden away. He wanted ot turn his head and scream at the world, but did not. He would not have anyone take him the wrong way. She might get angry at him. He wondered what her response would be.

*OOC: Nah. ^^ Don't worry about it.*
Zeria stopped because she didn't want to get any closer to the other. Uncertain, distrustful, Zeria tried to keep away from people because she could never tell one's intentions. Intuition was something she was without, and for her lack of that she had been betrayed often. If given the choice she would have simply passed the man by without so much as a word to him. But the tunnel was narrow at this point, Zeria would not have been able to walk past so easily. Her hand never left the weapon at her side. However Zeria did not draw it, and wouldn't unless the other made some false move. Her fingers twitched upon the hilt just slightly at the sound of voice.
It took Zeria a moment to register the question; what it referred to. Glancing to the canine, Zeria shook her head just slightly. "Startle? ... No." A simple enough reply because Zeria never was one for words. She'd spoken softly; only because it was her usual way of speaking. After that, a word to her companion (the only one she ever had). "Xandarick. Calm thyself." At the words, the wolf ceased his low growls and sat at Zeria's feet, an ear twitching restlessly. At a moment's notice the canine would have been swift to his feet if needed.
Having nothing to say and no other question to reply to, Zeria shifted her feet somewhat uneasily. Drawing her gaze away from the man's eyes, yet stll watching him, Zeria wondered if he had anything else to ask, or would move on. Zeria didn't actually care either way.

Drakeon noticed how quite she was, and withdrawn she was. He did not want to bother her anymore than need be, but his courisoity was trying to get a hold of him. He moved a bit to the wall, giving her a little more space, to see if that migh thelp her, but he did not breal his gaze. He wnated to help somehow...but the moment the thought came up Drakeon turned from her.
What am I thinking! He told hismelf, told his mind. He was never ever like this. Something happened to him and he did not know what. He put his hands on the walls, and started to walk away from her, and fell to a knee, bracing the wall, trying to push the wall into oblivion, but knowing he can't. He had changed, but why....when...and how?
He rememberd hse was still there, adn the world came back to him, for he could lapse into deep thought at times...he was trapped in his mind for so long, so he had to find somthing to do. He slowly got up(surely the dog was in a fit at the sudden movements, as she might have he asumed)and clung to the wall, as if maybe trying to be one with it, his head low, but his eyes glowing green now within the shadow. "I am lost" He whispered to her one mihgt say, but jsut the same he might say to himself or the wall. It could be asmumed that he no longer menat the tunnels either.

Zeria stayed where she was, not sure what to do or say. The man had taken a step back, as if to give Zeria space, but she didn't know how to reply to that, or if she even should. Zeria found herself wondering why the man was here. Lost, as she was? Or maybe he actually heading somewhere in particular. Mentally shaking the question from her mind, Zeria decided it wasn't really her business in the first place. The man's gaze was still fixed on her and Zeria wasn't sure how to feel about that. Zeria thought of saying something, but then the other started walking away. Zeria wasn't sure how she felt about that either.
She turned as if to leave, and the wolf stood. A moment later his ears flicked back, causing Zeria to turn back and see why his attentions were on the man who she though had left by now. Silver eyes flickered in the shadow for just an instant. Zeria dropped her hand from her weapon, something she rarely did in any circumstance. No understanding why she did so, Zeria set to walking towards the man. The wolf stayed just behind her the entire way.
When she was only a few feet away, Zeria noticed the man's eyes glowing green in the dark. She said nothing, not knowing what to say. The wolf sat, and Zeria leaned against the wall a bit. When the man spoke, Zeria replied without reflecting upon whether she should or not. "As am I."
Drakeon Kavu Alexander - March 17, 2005 05:24 PM (GMT)
Drakeon's eyes seemed to flicker brighter for a moment, reveiling him once shadowed against the wall, then they dimmed and turned a dim blue. He couldn't move, he was not sure. His head bobbed for a moment, then fell. He had nothing left to say, yet so many words came up to the surface. What was he to do? She was lost as well. He turned his head back up and locked hers, silvery yet elagant, he let his eyes match hers, mirror hers in every tone and color. "What are we to do, I am nothing in this new world...nothing..."

Zeria continued to watch in silence. She never really knew what to say to other people, not about anything. Looking away from the other for a moment, she glacend at the canine that was her only friend. The wolf seemed more relaxed now, as if picking up on Zeria's own feelings. For some reason, Zeria felt her gaze drawn back to the other. Slightly surpirsed that his eyes had taken on the same mercury-silver of her own. Shaking her head, Zeria didn't have an answer to the question asked. "I ... don't know. I never know."
Nariwa Kona - March 18, 2005 04:07 PM (GMT)
(i think this is open)
It had been an uneventfull day, and now wondering through the labrynth of the underworld made it even more uneventfull. Kona's lightning-esque aura scared away most of the creatures in the tunnels, and lit the path for him. Only the more daring creatures even came up to him, but upon discovering what he was they quickly withdrew. He paused for a moment, sensing vibrations that were unacustomed to the norm.
Kona listened for a moment, then realized there were two people talking. One was definetly an angel, the other he could not tell. It was easy for celestials to recgonize each other even if they couldnt see one another, but Kona did not know all of them since he was the youngest of them.
Continuing in the direction of the two people, curious at what they may be doing down here, Kona was thinking to himself. ~What in the world would an angel be doing down here? On a quest perhaps? Maybe looking for somebody? I will find out when i get there.~
Minutes later he arrived, somewhat amused at the stark contrast between the conversation partners. He quickly lowered his aura, a few rebellious sparks fizzing out. Kona did not wish to be noticed just yet. He listened, and it seemed that both had no idea where they were at.
Drakeon Kavu Alexander - March 19, 2005 01:38 AM (GMT)
His eyes at that point clearly showed chaos. "Nor do I." Was his only response. He could not think of anything to say, but once again his mind was going way to fast, and words were there, but he could not say them. He looked away, towards where they came from, opisite of the other person he had not noteced yet. He would hae but his emotions had him. His eyes went dark blue swirling silver showing the tourment inside of him, this new unkown territory, with him thinking diffent than he use to. He felt his body go weak as if he was short on blood...

Zeria shuddered, thoguh she didn't know why. It was like, another presence was here in the caves, but Zeria didn't understand it. Mentally shaking the feeling away, she glnaced to her wolf. The canine sensed something as well, his ears flicking back and forth were evidence of that. Zeria did not know how to reply to Drakeon's comment. What could she have said? She was so unsure of herself that she couldn't help anyone. Could barely take care of herself, how could she take care of anyone else? Zeria couldn't.
The wolf gave a growl, and turned t oface the path Zeria had just left. Ears flicking back and forth in agitation, Zeria turned and put a hand to her sword. "I tihnk ... something else is there." She muttered, not actually ready to go invistigate.
Drakeon Kavu Alexander - March 19, 2005 05:32 PM (GMT)
When she started to notice a sort of intruder, his whole figure changed to agressivness. Even his down now sounded as if it were death itself "Show thyself." He said, senses it now that he had his emotions under his controel again. He cursed to himself. No one would have easily been able to sneak up on him if he were not lost in his emotions. Now he was on the defensive, his hand on hia katana for good measure. "Now." He was now cold as stone, hard as stone.
McKenzie - March 21, 2005 10:01 AM (GMT)
By now, Zeria had backed away from Drakeon. Edging cautiously along the cave wall she had been leaned against, her gaze was fixed at the corner the new person hide behind. The wolf was standing just in front of Zeria, not moving to leave. As if she didn't feel uneasy before, Zeria certainly did now. She didn't like it when people hide in shadows, it reminded Zeria of ... other events. "Who's there?"
Nariwa Kona - March 28, 2005 03:55 PM (GMT)
Upon hearing their voices at a closer range Kona now realized what was going on. There was a Chaotic type near him, finally under control of himself, and the lesser one had a wolf who was able to see him while the others could not. REalizing the startling mental effect he was having on the two, especially the woman, he decided to reveal himself before anybody injured themselves. Konahomaru had not expected this type of reaction to his power.
Putting his hand up as a sign of 'im not here to kill you' he said "Peace little one! Stay your sword you with the troubled heart. I mean you no harm, merely another traveller. However i am not lost, and i may be of some service to you" he said slowly walking forward, not remembering the wolf in front of him.
Taking two more steps he tripped over it, the wolf snarled and Kona fell and cuaght himself with a flip. Embarrassed he lost control of his aura and it filled the room with a brilliant flash, the sparks from his lighting ability pushing at the walls.
"I apologize! really! It is not often you see someone of my caliber trip over a wolf! I suppose that is what you get for being the youngest Half-Celestial there is."
