Title: After Killing Let's...
The Windshadow - March 12, 2005 06:15 PM (GMT)
Tamris wandered through the tunnels, a silly, childish smile on her face. Over her shoulder she casually swung Quicksilver, carrying it as if it were a club or something of the sort. She looked around, in the blackness her eyes were silver though above ground it was day. Her clothes were stained with blood, but it was not her own blood, and crimson tendrils dripped from her sword and the ends of the thick black braid of hair over her shoulder. Yes, when prompted, Tamris was a cold killer. She had been sent here to kill a few people, a few dwarves, she corrected herself. Now that that was done, Tamris would kill no more unless provoked. Her free hand wandered to the pocket in her cloak that carried three rings, each rings of one of the three dwarves she had killed. Proof of their deaths. One would wonder why the half-elf was so bloody when she'd only killed three. But dwarves apparently were loyal to their commanders... and she'd ended up killing more than three.
"But now your work is done, elf and it's time for you to leave," she muttered as she walked, finishing her thoughts aloud. Tamris's smile grew as she rounded a bend in the tunnel and light came pouring out.

(This is just presuming shes on a job, and that they work for same guy, ima gonna make up his name too.......)
Bahamut stood just inside the tunnel, holding his saw-toothed glaive. He had been waiting for the girl to come. "Killed the dwarves I suppose? Well of course you have" He smiled slightly. "Well, Marakh wants me to take the rings to him. I have your pay, as well, if you want it....."He holds up a washleather bag.
The Windshadow - March 12, 2005 06:33 PM (GMT)
((All right make up his name but that doesn't mean I know you. I don't think our charries have met))
When the light appeared, Tamris instantly felt her eyes change from silver to black. There was someone there, for a voice spoke and it wasn't until her eyes changed and focused did she find a figure. Tamris blinked and slowed to a halt as she came upon this newcomer. "Who the hell are you?" Quicksilver fell from her shoulder. The tip of the blade swung down as if to carve a cut in the stone floor, but stopped a few inches before. There it hovered like a wasp, the soothing melody playing softly along the icy reflection. She regarded the newcomer who had spoken the name of the one who had hired her, guessing his intentions. Her employer had never sent anyone out like so, and she wondered why he'd do that now.... that is IF he had even done it. "Speak or I'll cut your throat out," she told the man softly. She kept Quicksilver low, though her grip actually loosened to a more manuoevreable stance, ready to fight in an instant.

(no they haven't)
He smiles, fangs coming out, eyes going green."I'm Bahamut, ex-God of Fire, if you wish to know." He smiles slightly. "Marakh hired me a week ago, when I came back from Gaia. He told me to take the rings to him, but you can come to if you don't trust me.

Tamris looked at him. She didn't doubt that he was the ex-god. Elvanshae had met him and told her so. That part was the truth. What she didn't believe is that Marakh would actually send someone as if she were incapable of returning himself. Knowing Mararkh, the idea that he might have hired this was a viable one, for who wouldn't hire an ex-god assassin? The half-elf glared at him. Not jealousy. No, it was far from that. It was paranoia and mistrust. She wouldn't hand up her prize to anyone. "Mine." She told him, clutching the bloody pocket in the cloak. Her voice remained incredibly upbeat and happy, though the things she poke of were not. "I wonder what Marakh would say if I killed you and returned the rings wrapped in your flesh and in your skull?"
Quicksilver came up to guard, carefully setting it inches away from the man's neck.

He laughs, a wheezing sound."Well, I don't know. But we will never find out, because you wont."His free hand started crackling with dark energy, preparing for Ennervation. "You see, I was slaughtering innocents in towns," He slashed the air with his glaive for emphasis," Hundreds of years before your parents even met. before your grandparents even met, if I'm correct. So don't even try."He smiles." Look, Marakh told me to bring him the rings, but he didnt say I had to hand them to him myself. Why dont you come with me, and I'll take you to him."

"I know the way myself thank you very much. Just do me a favour and die. " she snapped back at him, not the least bit concerned about the magic that crackled around him. Tamris crossed her arms over her chest, in a way that made Quicksilver's blade go full behind her, though still ready to return to its former position. Then for a moment Tamris stood silent, watching him and gauging the level of what his attack might be. She had no doubt that an ex-god was powerful... but there was still that factor in there... the half-elf raised an eyebrow as if expecting him to move so that she could leave, though she very well wasn't. Nobody EVER played peacekeeper or older sibling for Tamris, and she didn't want that to start now. Chaos didn't need to be made even more complex than it already was. Her voice was suddenly sly and quiet with a deadly undertone. "If you want the rings you'll need to get past me first,"
Bahamut - March 13, 2005 01:10 AM (GMT)
"No you don't know the way. He moved to a different location, otherwise I wouldn't be wasting my time here with you, pathetic half elf."He spits poison at her face. "You see, I have better things to do than talk to a little girl. And as for getting past you, I wouldn't mind that, but Marakh still wants you alive."
The Windshadow - March 14, 2005 02:47 AM (GMT)
Little girl?!
Tamris shot him a glare full of icy knives, but kept her composition carefully neutral. "I can always kill you afterwards I suppose," she muttered, glancing down at the poison that had fallen between them. A thoughtful gesture, Tamris thought.... and almost said so... if not a wasted one. She looked back at him. "Pathetic am I? Oh dear, you are extremely uninformed, aren't you? I guess I could clear that up... on the otherhand... you may take me to him, dear heriryae, since fighting you here would be a waste of time," she curled her lip in disgust and sheathed her sword, though left the guard off incase she needed to draw it again. Oh, and Tamris was sure she could always cast a spell or two if needed, though she rarely liked to. This would have to suffice for a while then, the half-elf supposed as she waited.

He glares at her, then walks off, expecting her to follow. "Lotha ligrr ke......" He smiles to himself. Very little. He shakes his head, then continues to lead her higher up in the mountians. Eventually they arrive at the base of Therab, and there stood Marakh, waiting for them.
(You can control him if you want, I don't care)
The Windshadow - March 18, 2005 04:51 AM (GMT)
(((Mwahahaha I'd rather not if you don't mind. I'm horrible at controlling NPCS))
"Lotha ligrr ke," Tamris mimicked him, her voice dripping in sarcasm. Little girl. Huh. Oh, she understood him well enough as drow was one of the three languages she was fluent in. "El lueth alu ulu Uoi'nota, fa'la zatoast" she spat back at his back as they went through the mountains. Yes, one could say that she was trying to pick a fight, for the assassin didn't like this situation one bit. Until she came across Marakh's new secret location, that is. The assassin lightened up a bit as she tossed the rings at her employer. Then she turned to the ex-god. "Now you, I believe I said you'd die, correct?" she drew both her blades and laughed, hearing in their melody a patience as they waited for sweet bloodshed. Tamris crooned fondly at them in elven and then turned back to Bahamut. She said but one simple word in drow, "El."
