Home is where the heart is. Such a true statement, it is, for Tajon could prove that. How dearly she had missed Menzoberranzan while she had journeyed to the surface and looked around the lands of Imythess. She loved it here—being superior rather than inferior to the men of the land. The Drow had her piwafwi around her rightly as she sat on the large lake’s shores, looking out at the ships that had past to get supplies to the Houses. Some of them, she knew, would be going towards House Streea—her house. She grinned at the thought, knowing that one day her House would dominate the others and send the others fleeing from her wrath. She smirked at that thought once again and shifted her weight and leaned against a dark tree, which was in outline in her infrared vision.
Yawning, she placed her Stiletto next to her and leaned back on her elbows, watching the lake’s surface, wondering if one day she would be able to travel into its depths. One day she would journey back to Imythess and get the necessary spell that would be required. Underwater Breath—that was it. She smirked and sighed lightly, looking up at the dark cavern ceiling. She then sat back up and placed her arms around her knees, watching the boats move ever so slowly across the surface, seeming lazy, as if they didn’t wish to move with all the weight inside them. One day, she knew, she would sail a ship up above these lands in Imythess. But for now, she cherished her time in Menzoberranzan. Pretty soon she would be back at the surface, learning more knew things about Imythess and the ways of its people. She knew one thing, though: women were inferior to men up there, and she didn’t like that.
Sighing, she looked around behind her, swearing that she had heard some sort of noise behind her. But it could have just been her imagination running wild again. Either or, it was never bad to take precautions. She got up and moved silently and with great agility to another spot, crouching the whole time. She wasn’t really in the mood to talk to someone at the moment, enjoying the nice, quietness around her. Her mother would probably be mad at her for walking out of the House Streea without telling her anything. But she’d face that later—at the moment, she was content with where she was and how she was spending her time. She saw the outline of a person, but didn’t think anything of it. Probably just a Drow enjoying the scenery like I am, she assured herself and shrugged her shoulders, looking back out over the black water, which seemed to calm her down a bit for some reason. Why? She knew not, but she didn’t care either.
Azerous watched as another drow sat down by the lake...Such a beautiful place, he thought. He watched as a large vessle made its way down the body of water. It had been many long years since he had been in his homeland...As a young drow he had fled after watching someone murder his brother. Every since then he vowed that one day he would find them and get the revenge that his brother so rightly deserved...One day, he thought...One day...A tear started to form in his left eye...Azerous quickly wiped it away before it began to fall down his face. Azerous stood there for a few moments, then began to head over to where the beautiful female drow sat. As he got near the female, Azerous sat on a large rock and began to stare into the depths of the water. Once again he thought of his brother and yet again another tear began to form...He wiped it away hoping that she hadn't noticed...Drow were supposed to show no emotion...Azerous watched as another vessle made its way by...After it passed he began to stare back into the depths of water...Once again...
Tajon looked behind her at the male Drow. She didn’t know who he was, for she hadn’t seen him before—or at least, she didn’t think she had ever seen him before. She shrugged lightly and looked back at the lake. Yes, it was a beautiful sight, and relaxing as well. She decided to ignore him—he probably didn’t want to talk to her anyways. Although, here she was superior to him, but she decided to keep distance rather than demand whom he was. She wasn’t like that anyways—only when she was near her mother. When she was elsewhere, she tried to be equal to the males rather than superior. The Spider Queen probably wouldn’t like that, but Lolth wouldn’t find out most likely. She shrugged to herself once again and stared at the vessel with her red eyes, which showed that she was using her infrared vision. “Do you need something?” she asked in her soft voice, which was pretty emotionless. She shook her head so that the hood of her piwafwi fell off and landed on her back lightly. There was no need to hide her face here. Well, she never liked being recognized, but she would be able to deal with it. It wasn’t all that bad anyways… She blinked her eyes and continued to stare out at the lake that seemed never-ending to her eyes. She didn’t bother to look behind her at the male—there was no need to, for she didn’t think that he was too much a threat to her. He could be, but she didn’t know.
Azerous continued to stare into the water...A few moments later he looked towards the woman. No, I don't need anything...If it doesn't hurt to ask...Azerous rolled onto his side and looked her way...Azerous said, his voice as emotionless as hers had been when she spoke. Azerous yet again fixed his gaze upon the water...Yawning, Azerous put his arms up behind his head, and laid on his back...Azerous closed his eyes and relaxed for a few minutes, then decided to speak...If it doesn't hurt to ask...What is your name? As Azerous let those words leave his mouth, his eyes fixed on some movement, some thirty feet away in the trees...Hmmm, he thought staring in that direction. I wonder what that could be? He said to himself. Probably nothing, he thought...Then turning back towards the female drow, he waited for her to answer his question...
