Title: Darkness clouds the mind
Description: open to all

Bahamut - March 2, 2005 03:55 AM (GMT)
Bahamut looked out at the Moonsea, thinking deeply about his new form. The setting sunlight was absorbed by his green scaled skin, and his clawed feet tried to grip the silky sand. His glaive was stuck in the sand a few yards from him, saw-toothed blade glinting in the light as it pointed to the heavens.

He was very tired, but couldn't go to sleep just yet. He turns the glaive upside down so the blade was in the sand, then turned into an eagle and perched atop it, waiting for someone to come.

Vernon - March 2, 2005 08:52 PM (GMT)
A foul stench soon clashed with the salty smell of the sea. If the smell was coming to the beach from the water one you would suspect some rotten object washed ashore. An object too foul even for the seagulls to pick at. Vernon was walking to the beach to find out if litle treasures form shipwrecks could indeed be found out at the shore. A second reason was to find the pirate's cove. If he could find it he could probably get more gold for his effort in selling goods. Vernon paused when he saw an eagle upon a pole. He figured he might as well have a little bit of fun when availabe and pulled out his slingshot and aimed for the bird not knowing it was truly no bird afterall.

Bahamut - March 4, 2005 04:16 AM (GMT)
Bahamut of course had not even smelled the newcomer, his smell not being good today. He always had problems smelling near saltwater, it wreaked havoc with him. He was wondering if he might be allergic or something. He flaps his wings once for goodwill, still totally unaware of the other person.

Vernon - March 7, 2005 04:04 AM (GMT)
Vernon brought his aim upon the bird carefully, but quickly decided that killing it outright would simply be too easy and no fun at all. Vernon's aim lowed to about the base of the pole. The bird would still be hit by smoe the acid, but not enough to be leathal or too damaging, but definately enough to to get a fast moving target. Vernon released the bullet and it wizzed through the air. Upon hitting the glaive, the corrsive acid burst out from the bullet. (Poor Glaive)

Bahamut - March 12, 2005 01:56 PM (GMT)
The acid hits the glaive, and splashes all over the pole, and the bird. He squaks, falling off, then turns back to normal."Gah...."He uses Greater Heal on himself, then looks at the pole. "Ruined!" He looks to Vernon."Thanks for that, really,"he says sarcastically."I really wanted to get hit with acid today."

Vernon - March 13, 2005 09:34 PM (GMT)
Vernon was surprised to see that the bird was really no bird at all. The man, if vernon could even call him that, didn't seem like too much of a threat. Vernon might have gotten a more intresting response if the man were a threat. "Glad I could make your day," Vernon smiled. " Course I really wanted to hit a real bird," Vernon laughed.

Bahamut - March 15, 2005 04:16 AM (GMT)
He glares at the rat thing. "You are a very annoying creature. Is that your purpose in life? If so, I'll be happy to end it." He smiles wickedly. "No? Fine, be boring." He goes back to fixing his glaive, still aware of the rat.

Vernon - March 15, 2005 01:29 PM (GMT)
Vernon laughs at the demon's pathetic attempt at a threat. "You are a very stupid creature. Is that your only purpose? If so I'll be pleased to end it," Vernon said mocking Bahamut. Vernon slowly began to close some of the distance between them. "What brings a demon out to the shore a makes him want to be a little birdie?" Vernon asked as he put up his slingshot.

Bahamut - March 16, 2005 06:25 PM (GMT)
He looks at the rat, then back at his glaive. "Searching for someone I once knew. My sister. I was told by......a friend that she was coming. Soon. And that she would arrive here. The birds thing was just because I was bored."

Vernon - March 18, 2005 05:16 PM (GMT)
"Your sister? You mean there is another abomination that looks Like you!?!" Vernon exclaimed with a shocked look on his face. Vernon surely had no room for such a comment, but he was sure that the closes think to him was a wererat in hybrid form and that he had no family in the sense that most had. He was pestilence the closes thing to family he had was Death, War, and Famine. They were like brothers though finding them on Imythess proved difficult.

Bahamut - March 19, 2005 04:05 AM (GMT)
He glares."No, she doesn't. My look is because I am Demonically Infused. No, she is like my true form, which I unfortunately can no longer access. But I don't mind, as it was to big anyways." He smiles slightly." Anyways, what brings a wererat to the sea?"

Vernon - March 19, 2005 05:58 AM (GMT)
Vernon was amazed that one could take such insults without getting showing more emotion than a simple glare. He didn't quite get what Bahamut meat by demonicaally infused and true form, but figured he'd seem smarter if he kept his mouth closed on the subject. "Shipwrecks and big messes. I figured it would also be a good place to shoot birds," Vernon repiled. "Are you just a passive wimp or are my insults having no effect on you?" Vernon asked suddenly, surprising even himself.
